I followed up with him repeatedly, nothing came. I followed up with the local manager several times, nothing came. We needed to make a determination on whether to pay for this ourselves or file an insurance claim. Xtreme was completely unprofessional, unreliable, and a total scam. Over 60 days later, yes, 60 DAYS later, we receive and invoice from their billing service, which was on a Thursday. I spoke with our insurance agent and decided to file a claim at that time. Our adjustor came out the following Monday and we were proceeding. The next day, Xtreme called me, emailed me in a most unprofessional way. Borderline harassment, asking for payment and said they offer a cash discount if it doesnt go through insurance. At this time, I had had the invoice for 4 business days. Now, I have had the invoice for less than 30 days. Our insurance is finalizing the claim and the expect to have everything ready in a few weeks. Extreme is putting a lien on our house because of the delay. The delay was because of them!!!!!!! I have records of each and every call, text, and email to everyone there. This is a total scam. I accompanied the inspector/owner Robin Patrick for the first home inspection and was satisfied with his findings. I contracted with him for the second home inspection and very unfortunately was not able to be present. Mr. Patrick basically gave the home a "thumbs up" including being safe from radon exposure. Upon final purchase of the home considering his "thumbs up," I found 14 (fourteen!) problems with the home that were more, much more than "cosmetic." During the course of the past five months I have incurred not only much of my time to mediate these problems bust have also incurred thousands of dollars in extra expense. I frankly doubt that I would have purchased this home that is now a "fixer-upper" had I been aware of these deficiencies that Mr. Patrick failed to address from his professional home inspection. I have made a full accounting of the home's deficiencies to my real estate broker and was indeed shocked. Needless to say he and his fellow associates in this prestigious brokerage have stopped using 406 Home Inspection Pros, Inc. services and no doubt word may spread throughout Flathead County MT that this business is not qualified to make accurate and trustworthy home inspections. The Beardance climbers were amazing pros, scaling 80 plus foot trees to remove limbs, in order to lighten the load prior to felling. The crew chipped limbs and cleaned up each day prior to leaving. In the end, after felling, they made the extra effort to buck up each trunk into 16" sections placing them on an accessible location of our property in order for friends and neighbors to take as firewood.
