From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was created with intention and care. The space is beautifully designed, and the selection is impressive. They've got everything from biographies and history to sci-fi, Christian inspiration, and contemporary fiction. I appreciated seeing so many voices and perspectives represented on the shelves books you won't always find front and center at the big chains. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, happy to help without being pushy. You can tell they actually care about connecting people with books they'll love. It's still relatively new, but R.D. Talley is already an important part of the community. If you're in Vegas and love books or if you've been looking for a bookstore that reflects the full richness of Black literature and culture make the trip.

We were turned away on my daughter's birthday…read more I called days ahead and specifically asked if we needed a reservation for my daughter and her friend. I was told no -- just come in. We show up excited, only to be told we can't come in because of a large party. While I was explaining this to a friend, a male employee raised his voice at us and started arguing. Then the female manager spoke over us the entire time with a nasty attitude. When I said the way customers are notified about closures could be better, she snapped back, "OUR POLICY IS JUST FINE!" And walked away as we were still speaking. To make it worse, they didn't even post on Instagram that they were closed for a private party until two hours after we were already turned away. If you're going to block out your space for large parties, maybe train your staff to give correct information, communicate properly over the phone and learn how to speak to customers without attitude. We've been in a few times before this incident and definitely will not be back.

From the moment we walked in, Tim made us feel welcome. He was incredibly knowledgeable about their huge game library and took the time to ask what kinds of games we already enjoy before recommending a few new ones. We love games like Settlers of Catan, Mysterium, Exploding Kittens, Pandemic, Horrified, and of course all the classics, so it was awesome getting recommendations from someone who clearly knows the hobby inside and out. One of the coolest things about Meepleville is that you can rent a table by the hour and choose from their massive catalog of board games to play. They also serve food, drinks, and snacks, which is something I haven't seen at many board game cafés and makes it easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening there. Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule and had to leave before we could buy anything or stay for a game, but the experience was memorable enough that we'll definitely be making a return trip the next time we're in Las Vegas. I know a little about Marvel, DC and such, but never got into comics, so I was a bit overwhelmed by the selection. Was pretty cool that they put the comics in some kind of coordinated order by hero/villain. Said selection had a sign requesting that guests not destroy the set up - "...would be very JarJar Binks of you..." -it clearly took someone days to coordinate. What was even better, was having a store clerk available that knew exactly where to look and took his time to help us until we found what we think will be a cool gift. Super huge thanks to him!! Wide range of prices on the comics btw - looked to be about a $1-$2 mark up for some according to the print price, but it did not seem out of pocket. Did I mention I don't shop for comics...? The team member had recommended stopping by Comics & Stuff to look for vocaloid characters. We didn't realize it was at the other end of the mall from JCPenney. We were in awe as we walked into Comics & Stuff. There are so many options to choose from! There are plush characters from a variety of animes, anime figurines from Sailor Moon, Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba, MHA, and much more!! There are also comic books as well. My son was able to find a few collectible vocaloid characters, specifically, Kagamine Len. The team members at the front register were able to point us in the right direction on where the vocaloid collectibles were located inside the store. I ended up purchasing a Magic Knight Rayearth, Spirit of Fire build action figurine. It looked pretty cool, and it was there only one in stock! I really enjoyed visiting this store with my family and would highly recommend it if you're looking for anime figurines, manga, comics!

Noticed Boutique World from across the parking lot while heading inside to eat at Fukuburger…read more I was a little taken back how this entire warehouse indoor swap meet type shops looked , As if it's in the verge of going out of business and the 3 shops is slowly closing shop. We encountered one of the sweetest lady selling some stuffed plush toys and jade bracelets , other jewelry and accessories. My girls bought some bracelets and a pillow with anime cartoons characters on it . The lady gave us some discount for purchasing multiple items .
