BBQ Ribs, sirloin steak, black Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Crab Rangoon .

Buffett worth the 14.99 price. I didn't try the Mongolian grill but the sirloin and ribs were great they had next to the grill. The salt and pepper shrimp were also fantastic. Will be back !

The food was great. A change in management was welcome. The service is good. Facility is clean and organized well. Restrooms are clean. Flavor of food is great. Lots to choose from here. It has a bad rap for a while but is back on track again. Please give them a chance. It could use some upgrades but that will come later. Still a great buy for the money. Remember it is buffet so do not judge so harshly.

Chinese buffet. Really good. Lots and lots of items to choose from. Salad bar with soups, some of the things I ate were egg rolls, General Tsao's chicken, steamed dumplings, chicken that was coated in sweet sauce, rice, noodles, and a couple of short ribs. Everything was good, the ribs were a bit chewy but good.

    Incoming call from Buffet Palace

My husband and I went here last night 05/31/24 @9:47 pm(they close @ 10pm, we got home @ 10pm) and spent $18.24 the food was unedible and not fresh @ all. Even the fortune cookie was stale. My husband called today, when they 1st opened up and spoke to the manager John. He was advised that if the purchase took place before 9:30 pm, the food would of been replaced. I called back to speak to John and advised him that it didn't matter if it took place @ opening or closing, this was not a good business move to display. He started going back and forth with me. I told him I am not arguing with him, I would just leave a review online for other people to be warned about here. I then got a call back into my phone by John to advise me, that his manager said the next time I come they will give a discount on the next purchase. Enclosed is the receipt and proof he called me back to sweep this under the rug. I advised him as a business owner, he should make it right. Either redo my order or refund my purchase. I was advised that I needed to go out into my trash and bring him the portion I didn't eat to get a full refund. Please avoid this place @ all costs, the fact I have referred countless people/family members to this place before. I have eaten here many times inside as well as takeout, it really saddens me at how unprofessional he was to my husband and I. I had to tell him many times, that I don't want to argue or carry on a pointless conversation. If you are looking for a buffet place, go to the 1 in Plano TX King Buffet. They are very professional and always serve fresh food.

I don't know how this place has four stars on Yelp. They have a large selection of food, but the quality is below Panda Express.

That day, my wife wasn't in the mood to eat there, but she accompanied me anyway and had a hot tea while I enjoyed my meal. One thing about me when I go to a buffet--I like to get everything I want in one go, so I don't have to keep getting up. I typically have four to five plates in front of me to avoid interruptions. While getting some egg drop soup, I noticed an elderly woman across from me at the buffet. She was getting wonton soup, and since we were directly opposite each other, I greeted her politely with a "Hi, ma'am" as a sign of respect. She smiled and nodded in return. As I moved to get some steamed fish fillet, I paused because she was also serving herself. What caught my attention was how she used the wrong serving spoon, and instead of taking a small portion, she pinched off pieces of the largest fillet and dropped them into her wonton soup. I found it odd, but it wasn't my business, so I brushed it off. However, what happened next completely ruined my appetite. She reached for a piece of breaded shrimp, dipped it directly into the entire pot of sweet and sour sauce, took a bite, and then--without hesitation--dipped the same shrimp back into the sauce. To make it worse, she walked away, leaving sauce dripping everywhere. I was so disgusted that I immediately informed the owner. She acted promptly, removing the pot of sweet and sour sauce and apologizing. I paid for my meal and left, completely put off by what I had seen. To make matters worse, I later noticed the same woman picking her nose while eating. The entire experience was unsettling. I sincerely wish the restaurant would have someone stationed at the buffet to monitor such behavior. People who are that unhygienic should be removed from the establishment. Let me be clear--I'm not here to badmouth Broadway Buffet. I actually enjoy their food (though, in my opinion, China King is better), and I appreciate having a Chinese buffet nearby without having to drive far. However, this experience left a lasting impression, and I felt compelled to share it with others who dine there.

I treated my family, and unfortunately…read moreeveryone had the same complaint: much of the food was cold and tasted as though it had been sitting out for a while. We continued trying different items, hoping our experience would improve, but most of the hot food wasn't replenished until we were already full. I brought this concern to the manager's attention. I wasn't demanding a refund; I simply wanted to provide feedback about the quality of the food. Initially, she explained that they opened at 11:00 AM and that the food had been sitting out, which seemed to acknowledge the issue. However, later in the conversation, she changed her position and stated that from where she was standing she could see steam coming off the food. At that point, it felt less like my concern was being heard and more like an argument. I wasn't expecting a full refund--partial compensation, store credit, or even a sincere acknowledgment of the issue would have been appreciated. When customers pay for a lunch buffet, they reasonably expect the food to be served hot regardless of whether they arrive at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Food quality should be a consistent standard, not something dependent on being the first customer through the door. My frustration wasn't just with the food itself, but with how the concern was handled. I wasn't asking anyone to take money out of their own pocket; I simply wanted the issue to be taken seriously. No apology was given, and the associate refused to give me a receipt.

I have an admission to make and it doesn't speak well for my character, but what else is new. I…read morewas enticed to try this place strictly by its name. this lead me to imagining how the place would provide yet another example of how silly texas stuff actually is in today's world. in short, i think texans take themselves much too seriously. they aren't riding the range, or having shootouts (well, not the kind that happen in a corral anyway) or (with air-conditioning everywhere you turn) have much need for a "10-gallon hat". but i had neglected to consider that, all that predictable claptrap aside, this place might actually be enjoyable simply because it's a good "steakhouse". I don't really care much for beef these days, it seems kinda unidimensional flavor-wise, differing mainly in tenderness, cut and age of the meat. there is something to the choice of how "well" you like the meat cooked, and in that regard it's much like lamb to me: flavor gets more complex with time and heat. I prefer lamb braised like the greeks do it, rather than grill-marked with red-pink inside. Likewise with beef, which needs to be carefully broiled or grilled to a point just before the protein begins to dewater from being overly done. well/medium well is a tough call to attain given that the cooking continues several minutes after the heat is removed. So here's the serious good about the redneck grill: go for the 16 ounce ribeye: the cut is about as tender as texas steak gets (don't know where peter luger gets their meat but at one time the old man personally selected the incoming hindquarters off the truck). 12 is mainly thinner and has a bit more fat. forego any additional seasoning on anything (french fries included) as there is more than enough salt and etc already. order it cooked to your taste, the kitchen will make a good effort to deliver it that way. this has been my best restaurant experience in this little town, for whatever that's worth. but of course there's plenty of the old texas-texas-texas claptrap to amuse you: the ever-popular cowhide on the wall, exposed brick behind broken terra cotta, creative use of corrugated metal siding as wall covering, expired texas license plates decorating the walls, antiquey kinds of lamps emitting low level light, etc etc etc. ok, i give up on this, texas is still mostly texas once you're outside the perimeter of one of the hopelessly overgrown metroplexes. if you're planning to relocate here to buy a cheap house and avoid state income taxes, enjoy it. i'm going home tomorrow.
