For lunch we had the Kimchi salad and the Green curry pasta with chicken. The seasoning was great. It wasn't busy at all during the day and the environment was so calm and peaceful. I loved the decor and the Asian atmosphere on a cold winter day. The waitress was also very friendly and kind. Definitely want to come back and explore more of Trois Rivières and the local eateries! We were already here so we ordered and took the food to eat in our hotel room. Well, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the portion sizes. We got Kung Pao Chicken, Singapore style noodles and beef Lo mein The stand out dish was the Beef Lo Mein. It had such a great flavor. We wanted to go back for lunch Saturday just for the beef Lo mein but when we went to order, we found out they (and all the other Chinese restaurants in the area) don't open until 4:00pm on Saturdays. I definitely will be back next time I'm in Quebec !

All wonderful items I am sure, likely served with awesome French flare, but I want someplace quiet and simple. This place -Rouge Lantern - comes up and he recommends the General Tao Chicken. The reviews of others here are bang on. The General Tao Is the king here... Just awesome, not too hot, not too sweet, just right and the meat so tender it almost melts in your mouth. Look this place up, it's fast,easy and tasty. I wish I could have tried more of the items. I give it 5 stars because the food was excellent, the service fast and the place was very clean if not a little bit of an oddity. In its category it's great.
