Of the two Buffalo Wild Wings in my hometown of Roanoke, VA, I like the newly relocated Valley View one slightly more, but I can still appreciate this location when I am in the Tanglewood Mall area. There is plenty of seating between the main dining area and the bar. As for customer service, overall, I have had pleasant experiences with their staff. I find the Wings and Smash Burgers enjoyable. I do wish Buffalo Wild Wings would start providing the creamy ranch that places like Wing Stop and Atomic Wings serve. The prices are what anyone can expect with inflation going the way it is, but deals like BOGO Boneless Wings Thursdays are the money-saving promotions to look out for. All in all, this Buffalo Wild Wings suffices when I am craving sports bar food. read more

Welp, I should of known better. Been here several times and every time it was an issue. Never worried about a review because it's a chain and hate doing chains. Few months ago we went to this location on a Tuesday about 2 pm. We walked in waited to be sat. Literally 3 tables of customers. Staff looked up seen us and walked away. We waited 20 minutes till we just left. *fast forward to today * Managed to be sat timely, It was busy so I understood. But the server finally came, she walked up to the table and didn't say a word just looked confused. Finally asked if we wanted drinks. When we placed our order, we made sure to place apps and entrée, we just knew we wouldn't see here for awhile. Long story short. Try a different location if you want good service, If you want the barroom service to go with the bar food, then by all means. Also I'd like to add, All 3 tables that had this server all openly complained to each other and one table went to the manager. At least food was right. Customer service is not for everyone. I loved the ambiance of this place. An open space main dinning room with high ceilings and perfect lighting treatment to make it feel bright and at the same time warm and cozy. And with lots of large screen TVs and lit Sports memorabilia all around. A friendly young lady host greeted me with a friendly smile behind the Host's station at the entrance of the restaurant. After asking me where I preferred seating at she took me to a table in the main dining room. The restaurant had two others, one with tall tables and chairs, and one next to the bar. Soon afterwards my server arrived, greeted me and asked what I wanted to drink. Since I wasn't able to look at the menu yet, I asked her what non-alcoholic drinks they had. She mentioned a bunch of softdrinks, strawberry lemonade, and tea, but neglected to mention that there were no refills with the lemonade. I asked her for the strawberry lemonade, thinking that there were refills because I was very thirsty. When she came back with the drink I gave her my food order. I was going to have 6 boneless chicken wings with sweet BBQ sauce and ranch dressing as appetizer and afterwards I would have their triple-bacon cheese burger with french fries. Both the chicken wings and burger were over cooked. The burger so much so that I hardly could eat the bacon nor the meat patty, and the burger bun was not to fresh because after two bites the burger fell apart from the bun breaking up. So I had to finish it with a fork and knife, but I hardly ate it all because it was too salty. What a letdown. If the manager of this restaurant reads this review, I hope that he better train the cook, because he ruined what could have otherwise been s great dining experience. I had this same entrée at their Valley View restaurant location and it was cooked perfect and served with soft and fresh burger buns that stayed together. When she came by next and I told her the burger was extremely overcooked and tough, she didn't seem to care because she didn't ask me if I wanted to speak with the manager. I was thirsty so I asked her for a refill and she mentioned no refills with the lemonade and had me order another one. I then asked to have their New Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet for dessert. That dessert was the only part of the meal that was amazing. Since I had become a member of Buffalo Wild Wings by joining the app when I dined at the other location last time I wrote my number down to at least get some points out of this meal and when my server came back she said there was a promotion with the app and I got my sandwich deducted from the meal, in my case the burger. So at least that made me fell better because I didn't enjoy it at all. I'm not sure if I'll come to this location again, even though I did love the ambiance of the place, but I definitely will if management takes action to follow-up with both the cook and the server with the proper way to cook and to respond when a customer expresses unsatisfaction with an item they had for whatever reason. read more

Stated name and request. Got a notification on the Yelp! app that food was ready so husband went in. He was walking out with the food before the same person got back on and asked me all over again why I was calling and what my name was. Street tacos were room temp at best. I remember a time when I went to this place almost 2-3 times a week for food and beers but a lot has changed since then. While the service has never really been bad, the food wavers considerably. Right now their chicken is back to being decent again but their sauces have taken a dive. They once had the best wing sauce I've ever had Smokey Adobo and you can no longer even buy it on their website. Their original Buffalo sauce is just way hotter than it would ever need to be for buffalo, almost certain it's made with ghost peppers or some other chilly from the depths of hell but it's just inedible and its only flavor is spicy beyond necessary. I went there on November 9, 2019 because I ordered 50 wings online at 2:03 for the Alabama Vrs LSU game. They told me 25 to 30 minutes. Arrived at 2:38. Was told they were not ready. Checked on them again at 2:47. Not ready. 3:02 told the person behind the counter that kick off was at 3:30 that is why we order them at 2:03. She said they were almost ready and I could pay. We counted 7 people working in the back so it wasn't the lack of employees. More than half the tables were empty, so it wasn't because they were packed and not able to keep up. 3:16 the employee threw the bag at me because there were other people in line. Got back to the house and counted the wings. 20 in one 21 in the other. So naturally I called to complain. Manager told me he would make it right by giving me the price of two large orders because apparently that is what I received. It was going to bring my bill down from the $63 dollars to in the 40's. This NEVER happened. I was told I would be put on a list to get "whatever" when I came back. Don't think I'll go back to that place. Apparently Buffalo Wild Wings has grown so big it has no more customer service. They have become greedy like the rest of these BIG companies. read more

After which our server did not return until my wife and I waved our hands and raised our voices to gain attention. Once our order came out it was unacceptable. Wings first served with no seasoning. My son had zero silverware. Kitchen runners refused to help saying our server would take care of getting him silverware yet was no where to be found. I asked someone else to take wings back- they returned far faster than they should've with my plate- they basically dumped heaps of seasoning across the entirety of the plate dusting the celery, carrots and sauce, leaving the underside of the wings completely unseasoned- the seasoning was so thick it was unpalatable. I waved both arms at the manger who I thought was looking directly at me only for it to be apparent that he was looking over me. He too walked around "looking busy" but miraculously unable to hear BOTH my wife and I shouting "excuse me, Sir!" I'd like to start off by saying I have never been one to complain about a restaurant or even write a review but I am just so upset about this. I've been coming to buffalo wild wings for easily 25 years of my life. what used to be one of my favourite restaurants, unfortunately yesterday I was served some of the poorest quality food I have ever been served from any establishment hands down and I used to volunteer at a rescue mission. I got a take out order of 15 traditional wings with three different sauces. When my food was handed to me I knew something was off after only waiting roughly 3 minutes max and out it came. there was a mix up with my order that was quickly resolved and the customer service was wonderful. I even left a $20 tip on only $40 worth of food. When I tell you this was the driest chicken I've ever seen I can not express this enough, I can only describe it as attempting the eat a container of toothpicks. with the cost of chicken going up so much and wings being over a dollar a piece it's a bit of a guilty treat to get to enjoy from time to time. Once again, we ordered take out and when we arrived home we were missing 2 items from our order. So back to buffalo which is 18 minutes away. This makes the 3rd time this has happened. Yes we should have checked the bag before leaving, trust me I will the next time. I like the food but the customer service is not top shelf. I recommend you double check your take out orders before you leave the counter. We did not get a credit or the sandwich for free. Since they closed their open air bar side with the window doors, we have been there multiple times and still wanted to hang out on the patio. EVERY time we ask to ask to have the tv cut in outside, they either say no, or I will have to get with my manager, or it it is too cold outside for me to turn on the tv. Are you kidding me? This restaurant used to be nice. Now, it's filthy. Pieces of trash lying everywhere, chairs every direction, smokers all over the front patio so that stench greets you. The food was not BWW of yesterday. Wayyy overpriced, matchstick frozen fries, stingy on the sauces, chips and salsa is NOT homemade as menu claims, it's like cheap Walmart jarred salsa. Server was very nice but inattentive. And don't park in the area facing the dumpsters or you'll see trash everywhere and a rat! One of my coworkers threw down and wanted to challenge me to a wing eating competition. I regularly take down 24 wings out of boredom. He was talking 35-40 wings. I would have committed seppuku if I didn't take down at least 40. However, this challenge never went down as we went yesterday and the service was the worst I've ever seen it. It took 30 minutes to get drinks and another hour to get just 20 wings. All this after nobody knew who our server was going to be in the first place. Shame on you, B-dubs...you made me not eat. Every other time I've been here has been mediocre. I expect very little from a sports bar, and prior to this experience, they didn't disappoint...hard to do when you have low expectations.
