We were here on the first Friday of the 2026 March Madness tournament to watch the games. We got there early and stayed until late afternoon. We were in the back bar area which was very busy! It's been several years since we've been at a Buffalo Wild Wings. We gave up on them several years ago due to the miniature chicken wings we were always served - plus, there were soo many better places in town that had killer wings. We always joked that with"wing"in your store name,you better have the best wings. We were in Bismarck, ND this weekend, and decided to give BWW another chance. Service was prompt out the gate. We were given drinks and menus to order with very quickly. The wings came out surprisingly bigger than we were served years ago, so that is a huge plus for Buffalo Wild Wings. Food would have gotten a 4stars. However, this location needs a true manager, or some kind of leadership to train this staff what customer service means. We were NEVER presented with a smile from any of the staff the whole time we were there. Something was wrong, maybe one or more personnel called out, and they were taking it out on their customers. Numerous times we asked for items - napkins, water, another beer - and we always thanked the bartender when they brought us the item, only to be ne with a disdainful closed mouth, and nothing in return - a very quick "you're welcome", or even "of course", would have gone miles! Even after all of that, I left a 30% tip on a $100 tab...she came by, while we were still sitting finishing our drinks mind you (which in our experience never happens - they'll always wait until the customer leaves), and snatched the signed tab and tip off the bar. NOTHING said...no "thank you folks", no, "have a good evening". I really should have left her $5...I really was a bit dumbfounded that a bartender could act that way. I understand that there may be things happening in the restaurant that is influencing the staff behavior, but that should not be deflected onto the customer. Bottom line, food was better, service/friendliness was severely lacking throughout the entire staff that we encountered. We'd most likely go elsewhere next time just due to that. read more

As our "first dinner" wasn't quite satisfying, we stopped in at the BWW which is conveniently across the street from the hotel. Reasonable service at the bar, where my colleague got an 18-piece basket of boneless wings and we each got a beer. Other than inconsistent application of the dry rub on the boneless bites (some were dusted and some were plain) and needing to ask our bartender for a "plate", the service was A-OK. Place has gone so downhill. In the past 5 times I have been here I'm not sure I've ever had any food that is semi-warm it's always cold, finally one trip I asked my server to get them heated or new ones and she claimed they couldn't do that???? So I requested a manager and he came over thinking like any other decent restaurant they would make it right and maybe even comp the meal or give a discount. Let me start out by writing, I've never left a review, good or bad. Today I was so frustrated I felt I had to... We've ordered BWs takeout 4 times in the past 6 months. All 4 times our order was messed up. Three of the 4 times WE had to return to pick up a corrected order. This time I checked the order, "Okay. Order reads 6 honey bbq boneless wings. Good. Two dipping sauces. Good." And of course, I had to ASK for serving utensils. I got to my destination to eat my takeout and what did I find? I had 5 not 6 boneless wings and the dipping sauce was ranch, not the bleu cheese that I had ordered. Seriously?!?! I'm soooooo done with this place and its poor service! read more

This is seriously one of the worst take-out experience of my life. I'm driving from Minnesota to Montana and did not want fast food for dinner so I decided to get takeout wings and salad. I paid $11 for a regular Cesar salad that was TINY. And when I say tiny I mean like the smallest Togo box they had for a REGULAR FULL PRICE SALAD. The wings were cold and smothered in way too much sauce. Honestly, this was the worst experience and the food was absolutely terrible, if I wasn't on a time crunch and road trip I would have gone in and complained in person and demanded a real big kid meal because that portion size is fucked up. The food was ok- not awesome but not awful. I had the tater tots and traditional chicken wings with Thai curry sauce with blue cheese- the blue cheese was flavorless... I had to ask two waiters for a side of ranch before I got one. I was not impressed with the amount of help standing around and the amount of time it took to get a ranch. read more

I usually always go to Buffalo Wild Wings when traveling it's usually always consistent. This one was my only somewhat bad experience but not with staff they were great it was with the quality of the food. I ordered honey bbq boneless wings with carrots and celery. The wings were really tough and the carrots were old very soft and dry. I will still support this chain just not this location. read more

If you want to watch your favorite sports team, don't go here. I was watching my Oregon football game and when it hit the 4th quarter, they turned the channel to UFC. After this, I asked our waiter politely to change the channel back to my game, or even on a different screen. He said he would talk to his manager to get it back on. After 10 min, my game was still not on. I repeated my request and the waiter insisted on getting the game on. 10 min later, I brought myself to ask the manager himself and he said he would put it on. Me, fearing that the game was pretty much over, I had about enough. They never changed it to my game and the 14th st Bismarck location lost a customer. The server was very respectful, but the manager had no people skills and failed to communicate. I brought this issue to corporate and hope that the franchise owner vets their managers better. This is a recently built BWW and the build out is awesome! Well designed and not like any of the BWW's I've been to. The establishment is well staffed and there was no issues with service. I arrived at 4:30 or 5 and found there was happy hour going on. They offered free chips and salsa and half priced wings. read more

Just crappy service couple snot face girls working take out they messed up my order I called to see what they would do for me Beings I wouldn't drive back there they wouldn't even attempt to do anything for me If I wanted to eat plain crappy tacos I would go to gas station. The night time bartender that was working tonight gave horrible service. I would list his name but he couldn't even provide that much on the receipt. My friend and I came in at 12:30 (a half hour before closing) and ordered 5 bone in wings and two drinks. It took us waving someone down to even get seated because everyone was too focused on cleaning. When the bartender finally came over, he took our order at the register before he sat us at our booth less than 5 ft away from the only other people in the restaurant. Our wings came out less than five minutes after being seated and weren't even luke warm. The skin was hard and gross.
