The room comfortably accommodated our 175 guests. The rental cost of the room included linens and a person to serve the cake. It was the best value in town! My siblings and I live out-of-town, and we did most of our dealings with Mike Reeh (the manager and chef) over the phone. He was a delight to work with and he was very professional (with over 30 years in the business). His manner is very casual--for example, no email and nothing is written down--but he followed through with every detail of our verbal contract. We did not have the opportunity to taste the food beforehand--cheese and crackers, hummus and pita chips, BBQ meatballs, cocktail sandwiches, fruit tray, veggie tray--but it was excellent. Many of our guests stated that the party and its setting were wonderful. We couldn't have been happier with the experience of planning and holding the party at the Arbor Village Clubhouse.

The price for rental of the venue was cheaper than most places and included all tables, chairs & linens (minus chair covers). The only downside is that you have to use their caterer (Bridges Catering) and buy alcohol from their bar. Our guests were very happy with the food and said it was some of the best wedding food they have had (pasta buffet). We had a very tight budget and they were willing to help us find the best selection for the price. We also held our wedding here to save some money. It was neat having the trains in the background. Luckily none came through while we held our ceremony. There is a covered place to have the wedding if you are planning something small. We had about 50 guests and it was pretty tight. My only complaint was the service on the night of the reception. The people they have working didn't offer any refills on water and didn't offer the coffee that we paid for. Some of the guests told me later that it took awhile for them to clear the tables. Other than that, this was a great place for a wedding. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a unique reception or needs a place that will fall into a tight budget.

The dj we had was about an hour behind w the events had to tell her to hurry things along our photographer was leaving at 8:30. When people arent dancing for 3 or 4 think you would realize that on your own if your a dj. Also had them paid until 11:30 and Donnie the owner told us that if we wanted the extra half hour just to tell her and pay her in cash but when we asked her to play the extra half hour she lied to us and told us she had to meet Donnie at another job which Donnie told me was a lie he didnt need her to meet him when I called him after to complain about her.
