Tara at Putman Valley Florists is the best. she did the flowers for my wedding on August 30, and…read moreshe did an amazing job. from start to finish, Tara was wonderful to work with. she was totally accommodating and easy to work with, and also gave me excellent ideas and feedback. she told me what flowers would and wouldn't work (in/out of season, tulips wouldn't hold up for the entire day), and suggested flowers when i only had a vague idea of what i wanted. and she even put a centerpiece together for me to see, which was fantastic, as it's so hard to visualize what a flower combination will look like if you haven't seen it before. i wanted confetti roses, which are orange and red, and daisies, and Tara suggested wax flowers and orange bud roses to tie them together. hard to visualize, right? well, it looked great, in my opinion. i will post pictures when i get them from the photographer. the bouquets, centerpieces, and boutonnieres all looked amazing, and i got lots of complements on the flowers. and the price is excellent. even my Mom, who lives in Texas, where everything is MUCH cheaper, thought that the flowers were very affordable. i highly recommend Putnam Valley Florists.

I'll just keep the old plant and deal with the flaws. I wouldn't do business with this place again.

I have been to many retail stores where the employees are helping, but no one can beat these two. They helped my every need the entire time i was in there. I did go in a couple of days before hand to buy tea lights and other merchandise, that day some lady with blue hair was there and she was not welcoming at all. She was wearing some clothes that i do not believe were appropriate for any workplace. She was on her cell phone the whole time and i was not the only customer in store. She also kept trying to make me buy two of these $20.00 bags when i said no the first time. After the transaction, i said have a nice day to her and she said "mhm" and walked away and went through that back door leaving the other customers. Go shop when you see Amber and Vanessa not the blue lady.

But, I feel it's a bit overwhelming. One cannot seem to browse too far without being shadowed *********************************************** CAUTION when redeeming your "free" coupons. Had "up to" $9.95 value "free" body product coupon. The cashier told me two individual times that my 1) foam pump soap or, 2) bath soap bar didn't fall into the category of "Body product". So, putting those down I was pointed to the small travel sized liquid soaps or the mini crimped hand creams (all travel sized). Needless to say, I walked out of there what I didn't need or want. It was MY fault that I put the other items back. Cashier wasn't friendly not thanking me after my $20+ purchase Called the 800# and JV Mall Bath & Body Works was in error to not allow me to correctly choose the item that fit within $9.95 or less. I wanted to make sure I wasn't interpreting the coupon wording wrong. Not looking to throw anyone under the bus for a few dollars. Maybe the cashier was a new employee. This I don't know!!
