They charged $29 for a 'trip charge.' But the estimate was free beyond that. You get the $29 back if you choose to let them do their repairs. Two people showed up. We told them the issue and they walked through. The one doing all of the talking said several times how this is 'bad, horrible.' And that was 'not up to Code' and 'who would do something like this!?' His tone was very negative and being a person who tries to be respectful of everyone I found it very hard to let him continue berating our home. When he was done our estimate was anywhere from $1500 to $9000 depending on the items they repaired. There was no measuring other than guesstimating. There were a lot of numbers being thrown out and we have no idea how he even came up with them. So, no follow up, a guessing game of numbers as to the total $ and an over all negative attitude really left me with a bad feeling about them.

All we wanted was a maintenance call for what we thought was a full tank. Husband has called at least three or four times M-F during business hours and left messages, some labeled urgent and still --- nothing. If you want someone who will call you back or have a person answer the phone who can assist you with scheduling or relaying information either way, find another company. I'm not sure if it's the answering service that is the problem, or if it's the company itself that is the problem, but not being able to contact someone at all in a week's time is unacceptable. We called another company who said we have a different issue (not a full tank) which SHOULD be covered by our installers.....too bad we can't get them on the phone or in person. Later, after watching a YouTube video saying a flashing red light could indicate a problem, I contacted Paula to ask if this was something to be concerned about. I explained that the unit was working and that I only wanted to know whether the light indicated a problem. I also told her that if it was something minor, I could handle it myself and didn't want Bob to come out if it meant paying a service fee. Paula told me there would be no charge since Bob had been here within the past year. Based on that, she said Bob would come take a look. When Bob arrived, I mentioned that Paula had advised me. His response was, "What does Paula know?" He checked the code and said everything was normal. Later, Paula called and charged me a $79 service fee. I paid the fee, but I am very unhappy with the inconsistency in communication and the unexpected charge.

There are far better leak detectors in the Tampa Bay area. Our water bill at our condo complex…read morehas increased every month since June of 2025 to what is now double! The association board hired Dave. Our maintenance man and vice president joined him on the inspection. Dave did nothing our two men could not have done themselves. After Dave's elementary inspection of the complex, he only found three toilets that were running. We knew there was more going on than leaking toilets. But Dave was quick to email an invoice, trying to charge MORE than he had agreed to charge! He texted when he wasn't paid within the hour, texted again. Our treasurer responded that as soon as he emails a corrected invoice he will get paid. He did and he was. A few days later we find that Dave totally MISSED an ongoing leak in a concrete slab. He walked right over it to get to the toilet. A water slab leak is exactly why our bill has doubled. A leak of this magnitude is exactly why we hired a professional. Dave was not thorough nor does he care! We made a mistake hiring Dave, owner of Water Watch of Florida. Don't make the same mistake. Our board president phoned Dave to tell him of this serious issue. He texted stating he didn't hear the leak when he entered the condo. Seriously! We will hire another leak detector to pinpoint the exact location of this slab leak. Dave took the money and ran.

Good, honest electrician…read more I live in a house built in 1956--a certified classic Florida block home. Second house built on this street, in fact. Back then, the electrical in homes was not grounded and because the fine folks who lived here never updated ANYTHING, the house has zero 3-pronged electrical plugs. Take a look at your electric belongings, and you'll see that many of them required a grounded outlet. Enter Peter Lontakos Electrical. Called the guys on late Friday and they came out first thing Tuesday. The job only took about 30 minutes. The service rep, David, was super friendly and cleaned up before he left. I replaced one regular 2-slotter from 1956 and added a brand new outlet in the kitchen, which required some cutting and drilled. Total price was less than$125. Well worth it because now I can plug in more than two items in the kitchen. I've got a few more electrical wants to check off of my wish list, and I will definitely be calling these guys.
