I've been here numerous times and experienced really rude and unprofessional service (e.g. I've personally been and seen others be judged and berated at the photo counter when picking up items "late" i.e. within a week or less of placing the order). Sometimes customer service has been nice or fine, though (e.g. one time the photo department called me when they found my photo order, which I appreciated - since when I went to pick it up the first time, they didn't find it). I return here for the location only, but I wish for a more consistently cordial (if not friendly) and efficient experience.

Walking through the Assembly Food Hall we cut off some of the uphill climb up John Lewis Way that is bothering Dad's knees. Now walking up John Lewis Way we are passing by the historic Woolworth Theater and what looks like a Theater District. At the crest of the hill, we step inside the only downtown Nashville Walgreens. At least the only one I am familiar with near Broadway. This store is "blah" in comparison to the Walgreens that I am familiar with in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco,and Denver. Their Nashville caps are overpriced and fail to strike me. They fail to carry the bullet beer (24 ounce cans) that I want to pick up for the hotel room. However, they have cold beverages and snacks that my Dad and Brother are buying. I am headed to Starbucks for my beverage. Toi, who rings up my Dad and Brother, is a friendly and personable Cashier. When we return to the what looks like a Theater District along John Lewis Way, being empty handed of purchases allows me to photograph the Woolworth Theater." Upon entering two employees, one at register and the other on the sales floor, greeted me. I found all the shelves well stocked and the refrigerated drink stations filled. I'm walking around the store it's like a mini-grocery store minus meats. More than a 7-11 carries! Prices, to me, we're decent. Store was clean, well lit, and almost every employee I met greeted me with a Hello and a smile.

Thanks to the brother behind the cash register at night time with the Jamaican accent and to the daytime guy with the hat and glasses. I appreciate. Even if I don't win anything, the help is appreciated. The desk to fill out your tickets is small, probably only for 2 ppl to write on. There are scratch offs too to play. Lines can get long but they're efficient. 5***** for the service I received from the workers 3*** for location and convenience store itself. I stayed at the Gaylord opry resort so the walk here ( Is a bit (if you don't have a car, the walk is ~0.6miles one way). At least you get kind of a workout in for the day, 30min walk one way depending on your pace and traffic. They have bathrooms too which is often used by passerby travelers filling up on gas. Bring a scent deodorizer to be safe lol. Bathrooms are next to the lottery counter desk.

My husband and I came here twice with our little girl dog (there is outdoor seating but there is also some counter seating inside too) during our visit to Nashville because the food was cheap but the portions were generous. On one of our visits, we ordered: Griddle Cheeseburger, $5.95 prior to tax- My husband opted to get this burger. Just a great old fashion burger made right. Was perfect. Side of Fries, $2.25 prior to tax- Thick cut fries, which I love (I am not a fan for those thin fries). The amount was pretty good for the price. Each fry was crisp, nice and hot. Chicken Salad, $5.95 prior to tax- This salad was huge with lettuce, cucumbers, grape tomatoes (although I wished there were more tomatoes but that is my own preference), lettuce, red onion, shredded cheese and a good portion of chicken. On another separate visit, I had picked a chicken salad again. However the lettuce was all soggy and wilted. I told the employee who charged me about this and she told me I could pick another salad. Sadly all the other salads left seem to have that problem. So another employee behind the grill told me she would be more than happy to make me a fresh salad. I greatly appreciate it as she put that together for me with kale, tomatoes (extra tomatoes and no onions, as I had requested), no cheese and freshly grilled chicken from the grill for me. That really was more than I was expecting and really enjoyed that salad. ---------------------- (Total= $15.46 after tax) I just love the cheap prices this little eatery has and the variety of food you can choose from. If only this place was closer, I would come back more often.
