Earlier this year I broke down on the side of the road and called them; they arrived promptly and were able to provide a roadside fix so I could get home safely and get a permanent repair in place. It was a hot summer day and I was stuck on the side of I-5 without water or shade and the owner called in one of his team that was off that day to come get me since the on-duty rep was out on a tow in another area. They went to great lengths to make sure someone was on side promptly and I was safe and assisted. Months later, my bike broke down at home. I wasn't able to be with the vehicle and ride to the shop with Thunder Mtn, but because of my first great experience I knew they would always act with integrity. They picked up my vehicle from home and took it to the shop for me, calling when they were onsite and loaded up and right after it was dropped off at the shop. Butch, the owner, communicated well throughout and is such a kind person to boot. He, as his employees, always act with the utmost integrity and thoughtfulness. I have Thunder Mtn programmed in my phone now, and they're my go-to for towing and roadside assistance. They're always there when you need help. I took my car into Gateway Body Shop with body damage on multiple panels in front, sides, and back caused by a driver going over 50 mph (in a zone with a much lower speed limit) who ran into both my neighbor's car and my own when they were parked on the street. Many panels were replaced and the frame was also aligned and straightened. Gateway's cost came in under what other body shops had quoted. My car was deemed a total loss, but it doesn't excuse the condition my car was returned to me (I…read morehadn't decided if I was going to buy it back or not from the insurance company): Driver's door jam had duct tape, not painter's tape or masking tape, but actual duck tape wrapped from the B-pillar (outside the car) inside the door jam and around the plastic interior trim, likely to protect the surface or prevent the striker from slamming into the painted surface. The car was returned to me with the duct tape still stuck to the car and when it was removed, there was plenty of tape adhesive stuck to the interior. Someone drank a small carton of chocolate milk and jammed the empty carton under my passenger seat. Black, greasy hand and fingerprint marks on some tan plastic interior panels from removing/reinstalling them and not wiping them clean. Inside of my car smelled like cigarette smoke. Almost positive I saw an employee smoking inside the garage when I dropped the car off, which wouldn't be a problem if they could do it without making the cars stink.

Man, that hood is really thin metal. I had a basketball sized dent in it but managed to pop some out, since the metal was nice and hot. I was left with a tennis ball sized dent and no way to reach if from under the hood, since it was near the edge where there is reinforcement plates. While driving, that little dent is VERY visible and VERY annoying. So I made a call to Patrick and he came out to my place the next day. In about an 40 minutes Patrick has it so that I couldn't even see where the dent was. Great work, came to my house, and very, very affordable for the quality of work done. While the vehicle was getting repair they also damaged the alternate side of the vehicle and didn't say anything to us. After picking up the vehicle we noticed the damage and they mentioned that the damage was there and they did not do it. I would not recommend this facility.
