I okayed that and got a text message 5-10 minutes later and replied Yes to accept the service. Then I got another text about 15 minutes later from the Service Technician saying he will be here in about an hour. After that text he arrived about 20 minutes later introduced himself and I showed him the problem. His name is Mr. Galu - I hope I spelled it correctly. My first impression was he is friendly, clean-cut, professional, courteous, competent, and wearing a mask. He went to the front of the house to look at the round pipe above the ground and saw bush roots around it. He cut the bush and roots, okay by me and I helped, and then got an electric "snake" to go down the pipe and reversed it out. This cleared out everything blocking the pipe and all was back to normal again. He asked if we had a dog and if we bathe the dog in the tub which we do. He saw a lot of dog hair and most likely was the problem after 12 years of baths. More good news! He recommended Roto-Rooter Preventative Pipe Shield Maintenance Treatment - 1 Gallon - good for at least 64 treatments and will last a year. I definitely want something like this. He had some with him and had it added to the invoice. He explained and showed me how to mix it with water, when and how to do. It is only once a month. The next day I purchased a screen to place over the tub opening to keep any dog hair from going down the drain again. Briefly described problem and was asked what area I was in and when advised they told I could get someone closer. I mentioned I called due to reviews etc. and he then asked me for more detail.
