When I checked the photos I took before leaving the lot, the hole was clearly visible. We spent four stressful hours stranded on the road, ruining our first day's plans and everything we had scheduled. I had to buy a brand-new tire for $180 just to keep my family safe -- on top of the inflated rental fee, which was higher than what I was originally quoted. Avis refused to take responsibility and told me to deal with their claims company instead of reimbursing me or even apologizing. I still haven't received a response or a reimbursement. Avis rented me an unsafe car that could have caused an accident, cost me money and time, and completely ruined the start of our trip. I'll never rent from Avis again -- and I strongly recommend you don't either.

No charge? are you kidding me, in this day and age? That's not the only time he did something like that. Tom is awesome. They are great at fixing cars, they are affordable (I have saved thousands over my dealer repair) and they can handle everything that my dealer used to do. Very cool small business. Tom's Mother handles a lot of the customer service. He has several mechanics so they can pretty much fit most things in within a week. I think his guys like working there. I like taking our cars there. We even cooked the crew lunch during the winter because they did a great job on our cars and didn't kill us with the bill. When was the last time you cooked a meal for your auto mechanic and left it for them to eat?

We stopped at Fred Beans today in order to buy a vehicle for my daughter. We repeatedly asked to confirm this was our out the door price, like a dozen times. Shook hands, signed the paperwork, unfroze my credit so they could run it. After all that, we get to the finance guy. He RUSHES us through the paperwork. As we get to the actual price, my wife and I both notice its almost $5k more than we agreed to. I almost missed it because of how quickly the finance manager was pushing us to sign. When we questioned the price, the finance manager acted surprised and rushed off to find the sales person, David Cobb. He comes back shaking his head, claiming this was all a "miscommunication". Nonsense. They intentionally attempted to push through a sale they KNEW they were playing games with pricing on. So we got up immediately and left. The sales guy hid somewhere so we couldn't even talk to him. This was one of the worst car buying experiences we've ever had, total deception and not the kind of behavior I would expect at a dealership like this. I will not be coming back to this location to purchase vehicles and I recommend you find an alternative as well.

So were unlimited miles east of the Mississippi. It was also the fastest pick-up and return I have ever had at a rental place and they did not hassle me to take their insurance since my auto insurance covers me on rentals. I would not hesitate to use Express again.
