The manager Dominick was more than accommodating throughout the process. There were a few minor issues with a couple of the vehicles I rented which Dominick sorted out immediately each time. All of the cars I got were extremely clean and had low mileage. On one occasion, I returned a car and realized about a week later that I left my house key in the vehicle. Everything seemed to go well with the install, but when I arrived at home and looked more closely, I saw that my rear hatch had been both dented in one place and badly scratched in another. Having just carefully inspected the car when purchasing it, I knew that it was pristine when I brought it in. Now, mistakes happen and anyone can drop a heavy part and do damage. That happens. The real problem is that the UHaul of Scotch Plains staff hid the damage from me and just expected that I wouldn't notice it. That kind of dishonestly and untrustworthy behavior means that anyone who does business at this location needs to watch everything the employees do and double check all of their work. That can get exhausting, so I just recommend you go elsewhere.
