I wrote a 5-star review before I received an additional charge to my charge card for my 20 yard dumpster that I was told was over the 1 Ton rate, coming in at 2.21 tons. I was a little upset after talking to other rental companies that laughed at the 1 ton limit when the norm is 3 tons. I only put brush, limbs, and small tree trunks, cleaning up the common ground behind my house and wasn't happy about the extra charge. I am writing this new review to warn new customers about the weight limit to make sure you ask before renting from Budget Dumpster. read more

Very disappointed they charged me an overage fee. We did not fill this dumpster. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain that week, and we tried to keep it covered, but there is only so much you can do. When he was loading it, it started draining. I wish he would have let it drain out, but he did not. This was also not our first dumpster, and the other companies we've used never charged us an overage fee. Very disappointing when you spend over $500 for a dumpster. We will not be using them again. It also looks like this has happened to others, according to the reviews. read more

Horrible company, incompetent drivers and managers have no customer service skills. Driver couldn't navigate the truck through a simple gate to park the dumpster. A waste of time and such a dissatisfying experience. read more

Twice I requested a dumpster, and both times, service was excellent. I couldn't ask for anybody better than this company to help with a dumpster. And the price is hard to beat as well. The guys who helped me out on the phone and to drop off and pick up the dumpsters were spectacularly kind. This company has now earned a customer for life. read more

I contacted through yelp for a quote. They responded on yelp and I declined their service. Then they texted me and I asked them NOT to call as I had made other arrangements. I blocked that number. They responded by texting me again and Calling me two more times from a DIFFERENT phone number and leaving voicemails. Once someone tells you NOT TO CALL and that they have made other arrangements. I would give zero stars if I could. My experience started positively. Communication was great. However, the driver arrived and attempted to place the dumpster, scratching up my driveway before deciding he was unable to place it after all. The company sent a lamenting email stating that they completed an "investigation" and found that my property couldn't support the weight of the dumpster. I've used plenty of dumpsters at this property with zero issue. Trash read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL SCAM YOU. Is a 3rd party company located in OHIO that will send you a local dumpster company. You will be better off contacting the local company yourself. They quoted me $400.00 for a 30 yard dumpster, then after 25 days or so, they automatically charged my bank account an additional $100.00; they claim I over loaded the dumpster, but when I asked for copy of land field receipt, the showed me a receipt that was dumped 2 days later from the date that was picked up from my premises. After all this happened, I read some reviews inhere, and some of the reviews complain about the same practice they did to me. Budget Dumpster will rip you off. Stay away from them. read more

I hired budget dumpster to drop off a 20 yard dumpster. The driver couldn't figure out how to navigate his truck up the driveway (he seemed new). whatever - I called a local company and they dropped a 30 yard dumpster (10 yards bigger) and they did it with absolutely no problems at all! Super smoothly and effortlessly! I then get a call from budget that they're charging me $150 dollars because "my driveway was too narrow" !! If my driveway was so narrow how was another company able to drop off a 30 yard dumpster compared to your 20 yard dumpster?!? Absolutely joke of a company. stay away! read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! I called to rent a dumpster that never got delivered yesterday. Nobody calls back or follows up. The excuse was that "the powerlines were to low."!! If someone would have called me like they were supposed to while they were "allegedly" here yesterday I could have had them use my other driveway next door. So now I have no dumpster and a fee of $150 for a dumpster that was never delivered. Not to mention the crew I paid yesterday and half of today to stand around and wait for a dumpster that never came. Rachel absolutely did not care that I was inconvenienced and charged the fees for something I never got. This company will rip you off. Sorry excuse! Once again if you had called like you were SUPPOSED to you could have safely used my driveway next door. But you would much rather just take my money than call. Republic has a dumpster in my driveway as we speak. You're pitiful! read more

Got a 30 yard dumpster for removal of siding and gutters from our house. Called in and who I spoke with was super nice and friendly. Worked with me to get the right roll off and got it delivered when we wanted it and picked up just as easy. Extremely happy with the price. Would definitely use them again read more

I have used this company 4 times now. they are cheaper than everyone else I called. They are fast and good. I will use them again.

Prompt service, I got the smallest dumpster, but could've used something smaller. Thanks read more

Please please please do not use this company! We use them and they ruined our driveway. I took a video and pictures showing the gouges they took out in our driveway and said they cannot be responsible for the strength of the location that they put their dumpster. When their dumpster was caked with material on the wheels and was unable to turn. ruined my driveway due to negligence on their part. They won't compensate me Now I have to take them to court. read more

I called this company to get a quote for a 30 yard dumpster. I was quoted 400 dollars for a period of 10 days including pick up and drop off. I told the agent that I will shop around and call back. I was contacted by another agent not even a day later and to quote me stating they were having a sale and that I could get a 30-yard dumpster for 463 dollars. Supposedly according to him that was the lowest price for that size dumpster. I just hung up and don't think I will do business with them. read more

It has been 10 years since I used a roll off dumpster. My experience with this company was great. We used it for yard clean up and took down an old shed. It was a 2 ton. Delivery was here before I got up and pick up was great. The person picking it up wad kind and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone read more

the dumpster service is ok, but the driver was not the best probably needed to have a better idea of the size of truck needed to get into the tight space needed for my job in particular, the overage price is not a good deal as the dumps don't care what kind of weight but more about square footage of the refuse being discarded. so, as for the value of budget dumpster, you may need to account for an unfair weight overage so be sure to budget correctly when using budget dumpster. other then the minimal damage to the grading of the property, the service that was requested was fulfilled. read more

The Budget Dumpster was simple to make arrangements for. Best of all it was affordable. Called to schedule it. Their office was very friendly. E-mailed me their regulations right away. Delivery was early morning on the designated day, placement was exactly where I requested in front of the garage, and only took 5 minutes. The dumpster size met my needs for a garage cleanout. I was careful to comply that contents did not go over the sides of the dumpster. When finished, I let Budget Dumpster know the dumpster could be picked up. They recovered it early the next day. The pickup only took 5 minutes. EASY PEASEY! Highly recommend this Company! No problems of any kind!! Very professional! read more

These people are brokers who subcontract their jobs and scam people just looking to make extra money for jobs that aren't completed. Wanted to rent a dumpster as we are doing some home renovation and partial demolition. Ordered the dumpster from these guys a month in advance. On the day it was supposed to be delivered, they subcontracted the job to Waste Management who tried to deliver the dumpster. The driver didn't even attempt to drop the dumpster on our driveway and said that he couldn't do it because he would have to pull his truck onto my neighbors driveway across the street which he can't do for liability reasons but that he could have done it with a smaller truck. That was the only thing the driver told us. He drove off and left after not even trying to drop the dumpster and we were contacted by the rental office saying we owed an additional $150 because in the contract it says they charge for a failed delivery attempt. They tried to claim that the reason they were charging for the failed delivery is that dumpster wouldn't fit our driveway despite us having rented a dumpster of this size before. But the driver literally pulled in, told us he couldn't do it without pulling into the neighbors driveway, and left. The failed attempt was on his end and it wasn't even truly an attempt as he didn't even try to get the dumpster off the truck. The failed attempt had nothing to do with us on our end yet they were persistent that we had to pay this extra fee. They were ignorant and deliberately kept me on hold on the phone for 20+ minutes thinking I would hang up. Customer service was completely incompetent as well and don't care about anything except what puts more money in their pocket. These are greedy scammers who are thieves that just want to make a quick extra buck. Save yourselves a lot of trouble and rent your dumpsters through somebody else. read more

This company do not deserve any starsThis is the worst company I've ever had to deal with they charge my card and additional $888 they said I was 1800 tonnes over weightI have now called the local TV newsI'm trying to get a street report because if I was 1800 tonnes over the limit how did they get thatDumpster down the roadAnd when I called to speak and try to rectify this matter they just blew me offThey do not deserve the one-star it should be zero Stars you shouldn't have to post a store for a dump read more

One star had to be checked or they wouldn't allow the review, but it was awful. I told them where to drop the dumpster and to have the driver call me when on way to the site, so that I could meet him there. Minimally to call when at the site. I worked out with the scheduler to let me have the dumpster placed on an unused utility road. This should have been conveyed to the driver and someone at the office confirmed it was in the notes. I tried to call twice on that day, was there from before 8am. After over two house of waiting for someone to answer the phone, calling many times and holding long times before auto hang ups, someone answered to tell me not to worry, all this was put in the notes and the driver is instructed to call you. They confirmed my number and assured I would hear back from the driver, so I need not wait. But the driver didn't drop the dumpster there and claimed that I said to drop it in the back, which I never did. In addition, the office is charging me a $150 'drop failure' fee, even though there is no proof whatever that he even tried to call. No numbers came through at that time, with missed calls and no voice mails left on that day at all. So this driver was neglectful and didn't read the notes and the office is a rubber stamper, (i.e. Yes mam, we always charge this fee and it doesn't matter the circumstances. That's right, sorry, nothing I can do.) Unless you plan to stay all day I don't recommend them. Price is good but if they don't drop it, the price is exorbitant. Connie S read more

prepaid Budget Dumpster for a 40 yard to be delivered on Friday 12/27/19. I received my invoice that said paid in full minutes after the call. Do not use this service. I see several other people have been screwed by them. I ordered a 20 yard roll-off dumpster from Budget Dumpster over a week ago and they had no problem charging my credit card. It was to be delivered yesterday. I waited all day and it never came. I called this morning and was told, they'd call me back. They called back this afternoon and said they'd deliver in 2-3 hours. I asked if they would reimburse me for lost time and wages. They offered me $35 dollar credit. I lost more than the cost of the rental by them not being on time. I am scrambling to push back contractors and I am taking my business elsewhere. FYI If you are searching online, St. Louis Dumpster Rentals on Bemiston Ave. is the same company!!! Sneeky ba$tards!!! read more

Do not use this service. They were scheduled more than a week in advance to deliver a dumpster to my home on Friday. Called them Friday mid day and they confirmed delivery. Called back at 5:30p and was informed that they had no idea if it was coming. I was told by the manager that 99% of the time they are there as promised but today I am the 1% they are not. Despite me telling him I had paid help coming the next day for my project, he said let's see what happens Monday. They knew that dumpster was not coming. I then looked on my credit card and they had already charged my card five days prior. They also charged my card $429 when we had agreed $389. Take a look at the mess I have now. Impossibly bad experience. 3+ weeks late removing dumpster. I was threatened fines by the city, neighbors were complaining. I called 3x a day for weeks to have dumpster removed. Every time they would tell me that it wasn't scheduled and it would be 2-3 data before they could get to it. I have never had a worse experience with any company. They are not local to St Louis. This is a broker company. They have no control and no clue what they are going. Avoid at all costs!! read more

Delivery and pick up went well. Only reason why I didn't give 5-stars is because they don't give a delivery window, (i.e. four hour delivery window) so someone could plan their day. read more

They were okay with the drop off and the pick up. The dropped off a dumpster larger than what I requested which cost more. Then a month later they billed me for over weight. There was no way I could have exceeded a ton when I had all light items which was not even yard waste drywall or any of that stuff. I called for a pick up so others would not continue to put stuff in my dumpster. I will never use their services again and would not recommend any others to use their services. read more

The experience from dealing with this company is absolutely horrible. They are a little cheaper but would rather have prompt customer service and communication rather than deal with them. The dumpster was paid and secured days in advance and no but not delivered on the scheduled day. They offered $30 for the inconvenience but I had en entire staff scheduled to work not one but two days. The owners of this company need to have detailed meetings with their management on professionalism and scheduling. They also the owners don't deal with the customers, lol but the customers are the one that's paying your and your staff. Untrained staff will get YOUR BUSINESS CLOSED. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - they dropped my dumpster off with agiant hole in the bottom AND about 3 feet of cement and debris from the last job. I took pictures and sent them in and they told me they would note this in case I was over on weight. I ended up not filling the dumpster so I went with it. A month later I get a text message (yes a text) saying they were charging me $86 for being over on weight. I wasn't allowed to text back so I spent 40 minutes on hold only for the person to literally hang up on me when I explained what had happened. I emailed billing and never heard back, then they charged my card with only a $20 discount for the debris which would have been the only reason my dumpster was over weight. The next day I spent another hour on hold and was told that basically they looked at a picture, guess how much the cement weighed and decided $20 was a good enough discount. So they charged me $66 without my authorization for a dumpster I did not even fill up. Absolute scam, you are better off going with a bigger company that is more accountable and trustworthy. These guys will cheat you any way they can. read more
