Well it started off by them dropping my dumpster off a day late. Then when I scheduled to pick it up no one came to pick it up the day it was scheduled. No contact from anyone that day. When I called customer service all ingot was "we will contact the hauler and get back to you". There was no talk about a new scheduled date. They seem quick to charge you for everything little thing but can't uphold their end of the deal. Spend a little more and use a different provider. As an update I called the next day I was told they were coming to remove that day. Once again no one showed up, no communication. I did get a hold of one person that actually called the hauler but they were done for the day. I called back in the 3rd morning and after the standard being transferred 4 times the person who I got a hold of actually got the hauler to come pick it up that morning. I used Budget Dumpster for the second time. I encountered issues on the second time I rented a dumpster. I was on the schedule for a dumpster pick up since Friday and still waiting as of Tuesday. Upon my initial phone call, I requested the dumpster for 1-2 days because the city permit was only granted for 5 days. I requested the picked up on Friday morning, still waiting for the pick as of Tuesday 3pm. I have contacted customer services numerous time, just to be told that a manager will contact me regarding this issue. One of the managers send me a voicemail on Monday that the dumpster was going to be pick up that day. Again, the dumpster has not been pick up as on of Tuesday. The city permit already expired, bystanders are throwing up garbage and over floating the dumpster, even found a mattress on it. This is not acceptable and definitely not the way any company should handle business with clients who have previously used their services before, very disappointed. read more

Ummm ... where is my dumpster and why are the holds endless. I have called 4 times today trying to get a status on my dumpster and am on hold over 30 minutes each time before giving up. I also talked to 2 of the sales people today who both said I am on the schedule for today. I asked how late they deliver and was told it could be as late as 6pm .. it was 5:50 at the time. It's now 8:30 pm and still no dumpster and I am back on hold. Their dumpster guy put a huge crack on my driveway way he even drove around my driveway several times before putting the dumpster down and broke 8 of my solar panel lights that I just put in crushed them and he put the dumpster closer to my house when I told them several times to put it closer to the play area. but put the dumpster by my house which cracked a huge crack in my driveway when I reported the damaged they told me my driveway is old anyways and they won't even take money off my dumpster and my lights that were crushed the supervisor said yet again it's my fault cause I invited them there to put a dumpster there and it's my fault yet again. don't use them if you want to pay more money to repair the damages they cause!! read more

Budget Dumpster's service is so horrendous - I had to take to Yelp (after a multi-year hiatus) just to warn prospective customers of this horrid experience. I would STRONGLY advise AGAINST using Budget Dumpster. We ended up using them to save a few bucks, and it's cost us nearly as much as the rental itself in fees from the city due to their negligence. Not once, twice, but THREE separate days I was 100% assured that pick-up would happen on a particular day. I waited, and waited, and waited and was left hanging on all 3 occasions. As a property owner, getting your dumpsters picked up on the exact day and time that you pay for, is more than of the essence - it is THE service you're paying for. As a result of their leaving me stranded, it's cost me overages in parking meter fees, our permit's expired, and neighbors are now taking to using the dumpster for their own use. Oh, and by the way... I was promised not just by the Supervisor, but by the Head Supervisor today that the truck would be by to grab it by 6:00pm, no later than.... It's 9:29pm and I just swung by. Budget Dumpster doesn't even deserve the one star I have them. I order and paid for a dumpster last week for a total of $630.00. Was supposed to be delivered on Friday sometime. The dumpster never showed up and every time I called they said they would have someone call me back which never happene. I finally received a phone call saying that the dumpster would come the following day. That day came and went with still no deliver. I finally ask for a refund 6 days into the supposed rental only to find out they are charging me $150.00. That is completely unacceptable, they didn't provide any service to even charge $150.00. Customer service is extremely poor, they only specialize in taking money. Customer service agents are not fully knowledgeable about the entire dumpster rental process, and they have no control over the delivery process. Instead showing proper care for managing your needs and request they will forward your call through two or more departments to satisfy your questions. I live on a small street and requested a call 1/2-hour before delivery from the delivery truck or dispatcher to ensure the dumpster had enough space to be properly placed, and to ensure the street just repaved by the city would be protected with ply-wood boards under the dumpster wheels. My request was ignored. Be prepared not work on the day the dumpster will be delivered because Budget Dumpster will not give you a specific time for delivery, they give you a "12-hour" window, from 6am-6pm (Ugh!). For pick-up on a city street ensure the dumpster will have enough space, because if the driver "claims" he can't pick up the dumpster you will get charged a $150 fee. This company is horrible. They are some sort of clearinghouse for dumpster services, using local third party dumpster delivery companies. Clearly at least some of these third party haulers don't like dealing with Budget very much because miscommunication, delays, and mistakes are rampant. In my case, a 20-yard dumpster was delivered ($550) instead and 30-yard one ($700), costing me a lot of extra money. Then a scheduled pick-up and delivery never happened, costing me precious time and money on my home renovation project. When you phone them, you wait at least 15-30 minutes every time to talk with someone, and honestly they simply can't help you because it's the third party subcontractors who are actually doing the hauling...and Budget's communication with them is absolutely horrible. Budget is also rather expensive--you definitely can get better deals with local companies. Save your time and your money and just don't bother with these people! read more

They were able to get a 20 ton dumpster in a tight driveway, but communication on when the driver would be there was horrible. Dispatch kept telling me they'll contact the driver and let me know. But they never did. Then when they came to pick up the driver just drove by and had dispatch tell me there were too many cars instead of stopping first and ask one to move them. Do Not Use this company. If I could pick zero stars I would. An inexperienced driver damaged a tree on my property. My contractor was on site and stopped the driver from further damaging the tree. I sent pictures and explained the situation. After the company reviewed my complaint they said the damage was due to improper instructions not driver negligence. Almost convinced Budget Dumpster is a scam. Best case they are a broker and have nothing to do with the physical delivery/assets. Arranged for a dumpster last Tue or Wed, to be put in our driveway on Friday. By 3:30 or so on Friday, no dumpster and had not received a call. So I called Budget Dumpster for a status and was put on hold having to listen to "dont worry, be happy" for 10 mins. I called back and went to sales, someone answered the phone and said they couldnt help, that I needed customer service and would transfer me. Went straight to dont worry be happy again. Was on hold for 10 mins, hung up and called back. Same rep. He seemed flustered, like something was going on and he couldnt say. Told him I need to speak with someone who could help. He said there was no one but customer service. I asked for a manager and he said... are you sure? i said yes, he transferred me and I went straight to voice mail. Left my voice mail. Anyway, had my labor here to tear down a deck on Sat and had to stack/pile up a cut up 25 x 30ft deck on the lawn, no dumpster. Called again today and all I get is - dont worry be happy. They are either morons to have that song, or enjoy customers getting really peeved. Beware, they charge your card immediately for the full amount, had I known that would not have even thought about using them. Called again 3 times today, also sent two emails, nothing. No emails back, no calls and no dumpster. If I could give zero stars, that would have been too many. Its clearly a scam, or the worst run business I have known. read more

Seems like a fraud. I ordered a 20 yard dumpster for delivery on a Tuesday. I was required to prepay. I called Tuesday morning and was told it would be delivered between 3:30-4:30pm. At 4:30 I called back and was put on hold for over an hour. I was then told that there was a "issue" and the dumpster couldn't be delivered until Thursday. I had 4 guys waiting to load that night as the homeowners association only allows dumpsters for 24 hours. Budget Dump said it wasn't there problem and cancelled the order. They said I would get a refund, but that hasn't occurred yet. Further, since providing my personal information I have started to receive a massive amount of telemarketers. Do yourself a favor and call a local dumpster place vs. using a national call center that is likely going to try and scam you and sell your personal info. read more

I had to clean out a house that was quite a quanondrum left. It needed a quite a few dumpsters. I contacted this concern at first the service was sufficient, then a little snow came on the public street. There was 2 1/2 car spaces for this dumpster pick up. The neighbors told me they saw the whole thing. The driver picked up the full old one and replaced it with a new one to be filled; then the driver went back a little & gotstuck on a small stretch of snow/ice instead of backing up (due to their was 1 1/2 car lengths behind him. What this driver decided to do was now pick up the new dumpster again and now take it away instead of leaving, cause my concern extra $150.00. The neighbors told me he was an id___ that he must be new. That all he had to do was backup. Why re load the new one??? No sense to that. Now he repacked up the new dumpster and drove off, saying that's the only way he could get out from a small stretch of ice. I drove with my car on this patch, guess what miraculously I could get out. No Problem!!! This driver cost me $150.00 extra besides the dumpster fee. I called this concern spoke to 2 man and they said, they would see what they could do. Well, guess again, no call back and no credit for the $150. That in my book stinks so say the least. Low and behold today this company called me wha who, After a long period of time, to me. Now, they say they will credit me $75.00 for this erroneous fee of $150.00. Oh!! I called on Monday June 17th for delivery June 21st. I needed the dumpster for that Saturday. Friday the 21st at 2:00 I called and sent a text to find out the ETA both said they would check with dispatch and get back to me. I called them back at 6, yes 4 hrs later, I was told there was a clerical error and my dumpster wasn't scheduled until Friday June 28th, my contract stated the 21st. I asked to talk to a manager and was put on hold on my house phone. I then called the guy, (from my cell phone) I ordered the dumpster from, he gave me his direct line. He said he did everything correct and it should have been delivered the 21st. He went to talk to a manager said he would call me right back. I knew they closed at 7, now it's 6:30 I'm still on hold on my house phone, I call Gene back, he said a manager will call me back, so at 6:45 I hang up with my house phone. Yes 45 MINUTES on hold. The manager finally called me back around 7:05 and told me the dumpster wasn't coming we discussed this for quite sometime, I told them to give a driver OT to get it there I needed it I had people lined up to help me Saturday morning, he gave me the excuse the drivers are only allowed to drive so many hours I know the law for truck drivers and they weren't driving long enough to be over the limit. I finally gave in and told them to have it there Monday by 11AM, he said he couldn't guarantee a time and I was furious by this time, I told him if it's on the truck and won't be at my house by 11 don't send the truck. Well Saturday I called another Dumpster rental company and they delivered on Saturdays they said YES, it was 8AM I asked what time it could be there he said no later then 12! SCAM SCAM SCAM! Just ripped my mother off! She took off work to wait for the dumpster to be delivered. They never showed! We called numerous times to see when they were coming. The sales rep Mike gave my mom the run around, the account person Alex (i think) blew her off and proceeded to tell her no one can reach the dispatcher or driver. No one could give her an answer if it was coming, or give us a supervisor to speak to. Finally after 2 hours being on hold or having to call back (they'd "accidentally" hang up) they still had no answers. She's in the middle of redoing her kitchen so now she has to put all on hold to get another company. She explained this to the accounts person where she proceeded to say "well if you want to cancel fine but we're not refunding you"! Keep in mind the dumpster never came!!! Needless to say full scam company. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years and I have never heard or experienced any situation where the company proceeds to tell a customer who has already been charged for a product that was never delivered. Let alone not even trying to rectify and find out an answer! They clearly just want to steal your money and take advantage of people. This was an easy rental, they dropped the dumpster when they said they would and picked it up on time. The only issue that we had was they really tore up my driveway. It left drag marks in the concrete as well as blue paint and it has not gone away. If not for the marks in the driveway I would have given them a higher rating. read more
