This is my second time using them. Their pricing is competitive with other companies. Although there were some confusion about the delivery of the dumpster, I was mostly happy with the services. I would use them again next time. That was until I received a notice that I got an overage charge. Delivery Confusion - They were clear that delivery may not be the exact day; however, there was confusion about if delivery occurs on the weekend. My drop off date was on Friday. When I called at 4 pm and later around 6 pm, the customer service representative wasn't able to get confirmation if delivery occurred on the weekend. Since it was a Labor Day weekend, I was afraid it may be delayed until Tuesday. I called again Saturday and got the same response. I also sent in an email. Around noon, I was glad to see the dumpster arrived. Drop off Services - The driver was friendly, apologized for the delay and made sure I knew my drop off was a priority to him. The dumpster was delayed due to having to wait for dumpsters to come back from the dump site. I got to see how dumpster get dropped off on the driveway. It's not for the faint of heart as you get to see this very heavy dumpster sliding towards your garage. The driver had everything under controlled. Drivers don't get enough credit for how they skillfully maneuver big dumpsters from the truck to the driveway without damaging properties. Pickup Services - They picked up the dumpster on the scheduled date. You have to schedule for pickup and can schedule as soon as you ordered services. Customer Services - Overall, customer service was nice, friendly and professional at the time of ordering, the times I've called about the delivery, and dumpster drop off. They were able to get back to be quickly on questions I have about what can't be placed in the dumpster. Update: 9/30/23 Received an email that I had an overage my 1.5 ton limit. Although they claim overage is common, I disagree that my project would have gone over the 1.5 ton limit. There were still space towards the door for at least 4-5 contractors bags. Unfortunately, there is no way to reweigh it. I've used them previously and didn't get an overage then. They have been responsive on this issue; however, I dropped my rating after reflecting on the entire experience. read more

Very friendly staff. The team at Budget Dumpster was prompt and courteous in getting a dumpster delivered however the size of dumpster related to weight limits is very misleading. A 20yd dumpster holds 3 tons. Budget Dumpster only allows a max of 1 ton. While the additional weight charge is called out in the agreement, it does seem deceitful when they sell you a 20yd dumpster and you can only put in 10yds worth of debris. Then they charged my card without notice $187 in fees. Just be warned when dealing with this company. Also, one thing to note, it rained two days while I had the dumpster, causing the weight to be more. If you don't cover with a tarp it is on you to pay. read more

Budget Dumpster has impossibly low weight limits on their dumpsters. I ordered two 30-yard dumpsters for a remodeling project. I assumed the listed 2-ton weight limit would be appropriate, boy was I wrong! I was charged nearly $900 in over-weight fees because filling the dumpster with normal remodeling debris (wood, drywall, insulation) weighed 5 and 7 tons. Looking at other dumpster company weight estimate, my debris was right in line for 4-6 tons for construction debris. Again, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to NOT be charged an over-weight fee with their unreasonably low weight limits. Don't be tricked like I was! Edit: I am pursuing action against Budget Dumpster based on Fraudulent "Bait and Surcharge" practices which are in violation of the FTC. Customers choose dumpsters based on volume, and by assigning an unreasonably low weight limit, even if advertised, Budget Dumpster is engaging in this unethical behavior. read more

Don't use this dumpster, they are fraudster. I was selling my house and use them because I thought there price was competitive. I told the service agent what I needed the 20 ton dumpster for. He said no problem. I paid $650. Low and behold a few weeks later I was charged another $460 saying I put furniture and electronics in the dumpster. I called to make a complaint, the service lady told me a supervisor wil handle the case and call me back before the close of the day. This is the fourth day all efforts to get to the so call supervisor has been abortive. Use your local dumpster and avoid this headache. read more

Douchebag phone service. Called and asked for a quote. The representative told me the flat rate of ~$450 plus $75 fee for processing large items (beds, couches, appliances, etc.). He then went on to say there were fees that won't be calculated until after they delivery to the landfill. I asked what those post-processing fees generally looked like, and the representative started to sound irritable and asked me to repeat that. I repeated, and the representative YELLED at me, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I reiterated my question and explained why I asked it, "What do the post processing fees generally look like? You said there were uncalculated fees after you guys delivered to the landfill." I was calm the whole time because I just wanted clarity and didn't want to rile him up. He then yelled, "I just told you, it's $75 per item!" At this point, I'm holding back my tongue and just trying to schedule a date to get a dumpster. I think he meant that the $75 fee was to accommodate the undetermined landfill fee. To be honest, I'm still not sure. Whatever he meant, there was a misunderstanding and we got it resolved, I think. After I said thank you because I think I understood him, he just huffed and puffed and hung up on me... He wasn't very clear given how he worded and structured his sentence, but I understood where I misunderstood what he meant, if that is what he meant. Regardless, it's the duty of a sales representative to answer any and all questions of the customers. I never raised my voice. I didn't repeat myself more than twice, so I don't know why he was so impatient. And in the end, I didn't even get my dumpster I needed. Sadly, the representative didn't give a name, but this call was at 3:10PM Central Time on 12/27/2020 and I was calling from Minnesota for a Minnesota property. I hope that whoever this company is hiring, they do a better job than this particular representative. Customer Service is terrible. I had scheduled a dumpster to be delivered in the alley and tried to communicate with them to ensure this would happen. But they are worried about being sued and liability and so they wouldn't touch another property line and wanted to deliver the dumpster on the street instead and they wouldn't waive the delivery fee. In their defense I had said that the street would work as a back up but I was very hopeful that the alley would work. Worst service I have ever dealt with. They were told to put it close to the house so they backed it up so far that the door wouldn't open on it. When I talked to them they said close to the house means you don't want to use the door. Then they said they would come on a Thursday at 11:30​am to pick it up. So my house was sold and I left the property assuming it would be taken care of. At 4:30pm I get an email stating they were charging me $150 non pick up fee and they had tried calling multiple times. They had not. So on Friday I call and they start quoting policy stating it was too full. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor they put me through to an escalation member who said there was nobody higher and all I could do was rent a 2nd dumpster. So I drove 3 hours back from out of state and they said it would be there by noon. I get there at 1:30pm and it's not there. They say it will be another 90 minutes. I no longer owned this property but was told to wait an hour and a half longer for the dumpster. When it finally got there, the dumpster driver wa​​item 15 minutes for us to load it, loaded it back up and said they would come for the other dumpster on Monday. The new buyers called to say it wasn't picked up yet as of today TUESDAY. I called and they said there was a mix up with dispatch and they didn't have it scheduled but they would have it picked up on WEDNESDAY! I sold my house a week ago and the dumpster still has not been picked up. I have yet to hear from a supervisor or get any follow up calls without me calling first. The next morning, when my crew was showing up at 8a, I had to spend over 90 minutes trying to reach someone at Budget Dumpster, being put on hold for 25 minutes at a time, trying to get an answer. Every rep just passed me around like a hot potato while Bobby McFerrin sings "Don't worry be happy" on a loop. Finally got an answer "yes it will be delivered today (a day late), but we have no ETA." Meanwhile my crew is on the clock. BudgetDumpster.com does not own or dispatch the dumpsters. They are simply a broker or middleman with good SEO and a website that looks better than local haulers'. As a result, when there is a SNAFU or a delay, they have no ability to re-prioritize a screwed-over customer or produce a solution. They do have the ability to offer a credit, which I should note: they offered me a whole $25 off my $400 dumpster rental. That covers like an hour of labor from 1 guy! Great! AVOID. read more

We paid to have a dumpster for our property to remove loose clippings from a bush we cut down on our property. We just received a bill for $120 in overages since our weight exceeded the dumpster by 2 tons. I find it very difficult to believe that a bunch of limbs from a bush weigh 4.5 tons. We are waiting on a "weight ticket" to come back from the dump to prove that this is accurate. I would go anywhere else if they don't fix this. Absolutely absurd that small bush clippings are over 4 tons. I loaded then in them myself. I will update review if this is fixed, but if it is not...find another dumpster company. Bogus Overweight Charges- First - the good. They got me the dumpster on time - we are moving so we wanted to discard some household "stuff". They also picked up the dumpster when they said they would. Now the bad - The next day, I got a bill for over $100 for my dumpster being over weight - they said my dumpster weighed 2.5 tons so it was 1.5 tons overweight - and they charged an extra $100+ on my credit card. I emailed for a quote from Budget Dumpsters. On 5/13/22 I talked with Zach at 8am in customer service where he advised me to reserve the dumpster by 10am in the morning for guaranteed delivery by 6pm on 5/13/22. I placed my reservation with Zach at 8:45am. Zach advised me that I needed to be home, and they would call 30 minutes before arriving. I waited home all day. At 3:330pm they had yet to come. So, I call customer service and was on hold for 2 hours. I finally got through where I talked to Carrie. Carrie stated, "the dumpster will not be delivered." I stated what do you mean. She said "there is a not in the system that said dumpster is going to be delivered. There were no additional notes. I verified the correct address. The charges were applied to my bank account of $516. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Carried stated " I am not allowed to transfer you to a supervisor." I talk Carrie I would like a refund. She stated that she is not authorized to give me a refund and the dumpster will be delivered sometime next week hopefully. I am very upset with this company. They failed to follow thru on the contract. Budget Dumpster has cost me so much money. If I would have received a phone call during the day or communication that the dumpster was not going to be delivered, I would have made other arrangements. I am out $516 for a guaranteed dumpster that never came, nor do they know when it will. Carrie refused to contact dispatch. My company rented a dumpster as we were in the process of moving offices. Don't even think of throwing away furniture or any kind of debris that weighs more than a pound or so. There is a limit to 1 ton before you get overage charges. My wife and I were careful not to put too much in the dumpster. In our estimation, we shouldn't be close to the limit. We received notification (and an automatic charge) of $219 for an overage. They claimed that we had 2.46 tons of waste. The only explanation I could think of was fraud. The person picking up the dumpster probably thought we had already paid for it, so they filled it up with their own trash. Or a mix up of them weighing the wrong dumpster. I called customer service. I waited on hold for 15 minutes. They offered to provide me the dumpster ticket from the landfill. I asked what would happen after that. They said they didn't know what I expected them to do. I explained that I wanted a refund on the overage charge. They wouldn't give it to me. She only offered once again for the dump ticket. So they were able to extract $219 and I have no recourse but to let them take my money and file complaints and reviews on every site I can find. read more
