The first time I called, the person I spoke with on the phone was super friendly and made things very simple for me to get a dumpster to my house. I was impressed with the ease of ordering a dumpster for my fall cleanup job (my house) I had planned. Also, I was happy with the price that was offered to me for the size dumpster needed. I was not too happy that there was a 12 hour window that I was expected to keep my driveway completely open for the delivery of the dumpster. Equally, I was told that I would get a call when the dumpster was enroute, and was surprised when the driver showed up with no warning. But she was very friendly and the dumpster was placed no problem. The company gave me 10 days for a flat rate which I was very happy about. Equally, they took electronics, and I got to ditch some outdated televisions, that treadmill the wife never used (she got a gym membership), and a ton of old furniture that we were going to refurbish, but never did. This is the reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 4. I called on a Tuesday to get the dumpster picked up on Wednesday. I was told that there was a 12 hour window that the dumpster might be picked up Wednesday OR Thursday, and that the driveway was expected to be clear, and the driver may OR may not call ahead, and if there was a car blocking the dumpster, I could be charged $150 without the driver making any effort to see if any one could move the obstacle. I asked about that and was told "some drivers may just take a picture and move on." I found that to be extremely unfair as I have a small driveway, and my wife, and two kids, and my self all have cars. With that, we had to park on the street in the case that the driver came at any point. Unfortunately, the dumpster was not picked up on Wednesday, and when I called, the young lady on the phone was NOT sympathetic, even though I was very polite in my concerns. Overall, I feel that I have given the company a fair rating. I think that in the future, I would use this company if I didn't have to worry about keeping one side of my driveway open for an extended period of time read more

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Budget Dumpster LLC and would not use them again. In early May, I rented a 15-yard dumpster for a residential project. The quoted price was about $768, including a $50 curbside permit, with a 1.5-ton mixed-material allowance. I agreed to that limit because the work involved a relatively small amount of drywall debris and household trash that my contractor and two-person crew would be carrying by hand from the second floor of a home. The service problems began on delivery day. I had requested a 9-11 a.m. pickup window because the dumpster was too long for my driveway and street parking/sanitation restrictions made an earlier delivery especially difficult. I understood that the company could not guarantee a time, but I was told a note would be added for dispatch. Instead, I received a call at approximately 6 a.m. saying the driver would arrive shortly. I had to wake neighbors before 7 a.m. and ask them to move cars so the dumpster could be placed in front of the house. The old, rusty wheels also scraped loudly against the pavement during placement. After the crew loaded the dumpster, we took photos and video because it was left curbside overnight and we wanted a record of its contents. I scheduled next-day removal and believed the rental had concluded normally. Then, nearly two months later--on July 8--I received a notification that Budget Dumpster had attempted to charge my card $1,322.94. The charge did not go through because the card was locked. About an hour later, I received an email claiming that I had exceeded the 1.5-ton allowance by nearly 9 tons. That claim did not match what was in the dumpster or how it was loaded. Three people--including one elderly worker--carried and bagged the material by hand from a second-floor residence over roughly three hours. Based on the photos and video, I do not believe the dumpster contained anything remotely close to nearly 10 tons of material. Trying to resolve the dispute was equally disappointing. I initially contacted the representative who handled my order, but received no meaningful response. After being unsuccessfully transferred multiple times, I spoke with a manager. I sent the company photos and video and requested the complete landfill documentation, including tare-weight information. I did not receive the outsourced hauler's receipt until weeks later. The document I eventually received raised a major concern: it referenced a 30-yard dumpster, even though the order and Budget Dumpster invoice identify my rental as a 15-yard dumpster. I asked Budget Dumpster to address that discrepancy and waive the disputed charge. Instead, I received further payment demands, repeat attempted card charges, and communications warning about collections while suggesting I call to "negotiate" a lower amount. My experience was that the company was responsive and accommodating while booking the order, but disorganized and dismissive once I challenged a large, delayed overage charge. If you use this company, keep detailed photos and video, save every invoice and email, confirm the dumpster size in writing, and scrutinize any landfill or weight documentation before paying an unexpected balance. read more

I ordered a 40-yard dumpster, but a 30-yard dumpster was delivered instead., I was still charged for the 40-yard size. What should have been a quick and straightforward task turned into a time-consuming and costly effort, as I had to hire extra help to carefully and strategically load all of the construction debris accounting for every bit of space in order to fit into a smaller container. While the company did eventually refund the price difference between the 30 and 40-yard dumpsters, they offered no compensation for the added time and labor I had to incur due to their error. There was no gesture of professional courtesy or attempt to make the situation right beyond the overcharge refund. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's how a company responds to those mistakes that truly defines their customer service. In this case, Budget Dumpster fell short. I expected better. Had they attempted to make it right, I would truly consider using them again knowing because I would have praised their integrity. They did not show any integrity. Not a company I would support. It's not all about the money. It's about customer service which this company has shown they lacked in my case. read more

First, we were called at 6:50 AM to tell us a dumpster was here in a residential neighborhood! Unacceptable. They delivered a dilapidated piece of junk with no rubber wheels. We used a CC that we NEVER use - called it in over the phone. The next day, the card was used in Ohio attempting to make a $1400 purchase at an Apple store. We scheduled for the pick up for 12-29 and received a confirmation - we are now being told that we have to wait until 1-3-24. Unacceptable as we have deliveries being made and contractors and it is in our way. So we are held hostage by this dumpster for an additional 4 days - We reschedule contractors to come on the 3rd and now - they pick up on the 2nd despite all of their emails saying they cannot pick up until the 3rd. Wish I had read all of the negative reviews BEFORE using this company! I have a contract that says a 10 yd dumpster - 3 tons - looking at reviews a 20 yd is not 3 tons and people are being over charged. I am waiting for them to dare say our cabinet debris is over the 3 ton limit as we have photos of every layer. read more

warning - scammers! avoid budget dumpster, llc rental! this place deserves negative stars, but unfortunately yelp requires at least a "one star" rating. this business is shady af. please listen to the one star reviews because they are being honest, unlike this dumpster rental company. this company will give you a quote, you will use the service, and then you will end up with *a different 2nd price* once the job is completed. okay, not a big deal - however, this "business" will then try to charge your credit card again *weeks after* you **already previously paid their original "newly quoted fees."* these new "new fees" now come with a story that your previously dumped items "came in tons over" and billing just recently caught the issue, so you, the customer, will once again be told that you "still owe more money based on newly calculated weight charges and that this "new" weight discrepancy was "only recently caught" - unless you want to deal with scammers who will try to charge your credit card with bogus extra fees weeks after you've already finished your project and returned the dumpster / and already paid the previously set "new fees", avoid this place like the plague. read more

Very reasonably priced. Scheduling, delivery and pick up went very smoothly. This was our first time needing this service and would definitely recommend them read more

I've never used a dumpster service before and hopefully won't have to again. (It's a lot of work filling a 25 yard dumpster. They hold a LOT of junk.) But if I need one again, I'll definitely use Budget Dumpster. They delivered it on the day they said they would, albeit late in the afternoon. The driver was excellent and worked hard to squeeze it in the driveway. You can keep it for up to 10 days, but I didn't realize there was a 4 day "window" for the pickup, so we actually had it 3 extra days after I scheduled the pickup. Also, we didn't realize the one we ordered was not a "roll off" type with those small metal wheels, ours had large truck tires so we had to lift everything up 4'. Next time we'd get the short one. Anyway, the price was nice and there were no extra charges so we're pretty happy! read more

Excellent service. Scheduling was easy, communication between order and delivery was excellent as was the communication prior to pick-up. I would definitely use a his company again. read more

WARNING- READ reviews on the Better Business Bureau and other websites before contacting this company!!! Scheduled and PAID for a dumpster to be delivered on a Saturday (yes, the company rep stated they deliver Saturday) for a job starting Monday morning. They gave me a 12 hour window for delivery. I contacting these guys because GROOT failed to deliver my dumpster on the Friday before the weekend. Budget Dumpster never came even though my CC was charged. We even called mid afternoon to get an ETA and the rep on the phone stated that the dispatch had their phones off. Phones off- WTH?!? Called back the next day (Sunday) and spoke to another company rep who looked up my address. She stated that there are no dumpsters available until at least Tuesday. Basically, I was lied to about the dumpster and then given a song and dance. I should of read the NUMEROUS website reviews (Yelp, BBB, etc) before contacting this company. Seems to be a pattern with this company of scheduling, taking payment, and not delivering. read more

STAY AWAY Predatory practice. they will charge you and extra fee few days to few weeks for overweight. around $100 their pricing and weight limit to any dumpster is not realistic and true. Even if you don't fill the dumpster you will be charged an overweight fee. Ordered a dumpster they didn't deliver it for 2 days (they didn't care they caused harm to my business ) No fee for them for NOT DOING THEIR JOB. STAY AWAY. read more

I needed a dumpster ASAP to purge my home. Merging two households is always hard and every closet and empty room was full of crap we didn't use in two years. I called Budget Dumpster and they set me up with a rental. They set it up in my driveway while I was at work and picked it up when I called them. They didn't wreck the driveway and the pick up guy was super nice. The price was great as well. Definitely recommend them! read more

I agreed to the 525 cost , but was charged 1100 in all , no I didn't go over the small weight of 1 ton , I extended the time , and agreed to 175 for 3 extra days , then asked for 2 more days and they charged me 325 more which was stated as a total for all extra days , which included the previous charge for 175 , then added another 75 for God knows what. Once they have your c.c. they own you. read more

I rented a 10 yard dumpster and paid $750. I rented a second 10 yard dumpster and paid $750 up front. Two months later I was sent a second bill for an additional $423.60 for what they claimed was "overage" in weight in the second dumpster. It is NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE to have the 2nd dumpster's contents weigh 2/3 more that the 1st since they were both filled to the same capacity from the same dirt pile!!! I personally leveled the dirt in each dumpster, so I know. Think about it. How can one be that much over in weight? Rip off company. Choose someone else for your Dumpster needs!!! I tried to reach out to them but they would not work with me on this issue. Stay away! read more

I had never needed to rent a dumpster before but was having some major landscaping done. I contacted Budget Dumpster Rental. My first contact was very helpful and scheduled delivery based on my schedule. The delivery person was very nice and placed the dumpster where I needed. I will use Budget Dumpster again in the future if needed. read more

Budget dumpster is a broker company so they give you three and four days of run around and confusion. When they finally deliver the dumpster it's not the size you requested or paid for. If you call to complain they transfer you to customer service so you can speak to a soft sweet speaking female who keeps saying "I'm real sorry". Stay away from using BUDGET DUMPSTER. I called and entered into a binding contract with Budget Dumpster for a dumpster to be delivered to my home. The representative that I spoke with was very friendly and helpful while going through the set up/reservation process. He advised me that there was a deal going on to get a larger dumpster for about the same price that I was going to pay for the smaller one so I accepted the offer. They sent me the contract, invoice etc. and I paid in FULL the same day of the offer (about a week before the delivery). Thereafter, Budget Dumpster failed to deliver the dumpster timely and breached the contractual agreement. In fact, they were supposed to deliver between 6:30am and 6:30pm and I received a call at 8am on the date of delivery advising that it would not be delivered as they did not have inventory. I spoke with several representatives and escalated it to the manager whom I spoke with multiple times that day with no resolution. Keep in mind I had crews coming out the following morning and now no where to put brush that we were planning on putting in the dumpster. The failure by Budget Dumpster was not related to inclement weather, hazardous roads and/or driving conditions, traffic delays, motor vehicle accidents, delays at landfills and equipment failure. The issue was negligence, gross negligence and breach of contract by Budget Dumpster. At a minimum, Budget Dumpster was grossly negligent in the vendor selections and the lack of follow up until after the scheduled delivery date and time. I suffered damages in excess of $750 for an increased cost for a smaller dumpster, multiple dumps required and additional labor costs for the work completed. I had an attorney assist and the amount to currently make me whole is now $943.00 due to additional attorney's fees now incurred as a result of the refusal to issue payment from Budget Dumpster. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

I called to rent a dumpster and was renting a 10 cubic and after we went over what I thought were all the terms I was told they have to deliver a bigger one. Of course it comes and is too big for the space so we make room. I was told pick up on a Saturday, sound good. I call 2 days before pick up to schedule it and I am told it's going to $75 to pick it up on my date, which was disclosed when I paid. So I ask for pick up the next day and they say call back tomorrow to schedule. I call today and am told no pick ups all weekend. I have to have it out and they say they will send a message to a supervisor customer service has no access to anyone. Then the woman says she does and will transfer me and then proceeds to hang up on me. What a joke of a company I would never recommend them unless you want a dumpster for a few weeks. read more

They advertise "Budget" as an economical dumpster company, but they are anything but economical. They nickle and dime you to death with charges over "your time limit" if you keep it for more than 2 weeks, then come up with additional charges because their drivers are idiots. We moved the dumpster 6 feet off the driveway onto the grass yard to allow concrete sub to pour new driveway. It was kept in the same position as was when it was dropped off...still had east access and they send another bill for $150 for no access? And yet the driver was still load it the same way and remove it. I would not use this company again. read more

We contracted with this sham company to get a dumpster and they looked at the property on their computer and told us it would be no problem getting the dumpster on the site (45 minutes away from my location). We went ahead and hired a crew of people to remove trash from the house where the dumpster was to be set. On the day the work was to be done we arrived with our crew and no dumpster was there. We called this sham company and they told us they tried to deliver the dumpster the day before and they couldn't get it on the site. No call nothing. We had to pay our crew for a full day's work b/c this sham company didn't tell us the dumpster wasn't delivered. They didn't even apologize. So I have to pay $150 for a dry run, but they have no accountability. Love how that works. read more

After speaking with several people in our neighborhood, I was warned not to use this company because of their lack of professionalism and inconsistent scheduling. I don't even know why this company exists. I didn't think to look at reviews before using Budget Dumpster, but had I would have avoided the same experience many customers have. They accept business and your money, but fail to deliver service and want to charge the customer foe their failure to deliver. Ordered the dumpster on Sept 30, 2022 for delivery on October 6. Dumpster was not delivered and I called customer service. They told me they would follow up. They never did. October 7 has come and gone and I have called them twice today. The second time, was after the latest they say they deliver....6pm. They don't have an ETA and refuse to give me a full refund foe their failure to deliver the agreed upon services. read more

No Show, and lied!I even called at 3:00 and was told I was on the schedule. WRONG! Liar! This company had no problem charging my credit card 2 weeks ago but somehow they can't manage to deliver the dumpster when it was contracted for. Also, I waited all day, took a day off work so I would be here. Really lousy customer service. Also, cost me a weekend in my time frame for the reno on my house. Thanks for nothing. Interesting that you have the nerve to charge your customer $150 if there is a problem on our side. What recourse do your customers have to your lies and bad service? So to add further injury to this situation, on Monday I call and asked for a refund. They decided to charge me $25.00 as I canceled after my card was run. Really? The only reason I canceled is that they did not show up and I had to find another service. This takes real nerve to charge a customer for their total lack of customer service. I waited all day for my dumpster to be delivered even called your Customer Care Dept several times today to be told it's on it was coming today but they can't give me a delivery time. These times were 12:39 and 3:12 pm. At 3:12 I was told that dispatch would be contacted and I would receive a text with an update of deliver. I never did. At 5:25 I called again only to be told that I wasn't getting a dumpster today despite my delivery date as shown above in my confirmation date but instead Monday. I told Maggie (I believe that was who I talked to that time) that Monday delivery would not work for me as I already had folks scheduled to come help me this weekend to clear the house. I am single and can not do this without help. She stated that she would escalate and that she would call me back. She never did. I called back again at 6:12 and was told it was still being escalated and then again. Elaine told me at 7:22 that they were asking a supervisor to give me a call but it would likely be next week before that would happen - she could do nothing to help me with my problem... a lack of a dumpster despite the order acknowledgement I had. Really, customers with emergencies have to wait until next week? I did contact Zach L, the sales man that sold me the dumpster rental. He said he knew nothing about a window of delivery and that he expected it to be delivered today. He was nice enough to call me on his day off. If there is truly a window, someone from your company should have called me ahead of time and told me that it wouldn't be delivered today, surely scheduling is done prior to the day of delivery. Also, I called twice and was told it was coming, why wouldn't your Customer Care team have known that it wasn't? How do you expect people to schedule people and work if they have to guess when you will be keeping up your end of your commitment? I have contacted Wall Recycling who is your service provider I understand for dumpsters to the Hillsborough area. They were closed by the time I received this information. I have left them a message and will follow up with a call in the morning when they open. This is unacceptable service to a customer. I am sure that you will agree. I hope that a deep dive will be done on what happened here and that you will get back with me. I also hope that a remedy will be worked out quickly tomorrow. As said, I can do nothing with this dumpster if the 12 days starts Monday 3/28. I will expect a FULL REFUND if that is the case and not a partial. Zach was fully aware of what my needs here, so if he knew that there was a chance that the dumpster wouldn't deliver as requested, that is a shame. I have been completely disappointed in your company. I hope that you can do something quickly over the next 12 hours to remedy this. read more

DOZENS! I have easily rented dozens of dumpsters from these people over the past 3+ years. So this is definitely a "voice of experience" speaking. Customer service: very good. Never had a problem charging it on my credit card, scheduling a delivery date or arranging for pick up. I did have ONE time when it wasn't delivered on time. I called them and it was delivered later that day. Costs: reasonable. There are cheaper places out there, but I'll pay to slighter higher fees for the service I get. Additional costs: I think this is a problem, but not for them but rather for people getting small dumpsters and not realizing how heavy stuff can be. Sofas, dressers, mattresses...they can add weight big and fast. In summary, I am pretty confident with these people. I'm sure I'll be ordering at least another 10-12 20-yarders from them before the year is up. read more

Outlandish Overweight Charge The latest of 3 times using Budget Dumpster is the only time I have encountered an issue with their company. I have found their delivery and pickup service to be within tolerance. I have no argument with paying for the extra days use of the dumpsters. I do, however, disagree with an overweight charge of $195.00. They hold the 10 yard dumpster to 1 ton. I received an email 8/27 (after the dumpster was picked up 8/14) indicating they received the weight ticket on my dumpster was 4 tons. There is no way my household trash weighed 8000 pounds in a 75% filled dumpster. I disputed the charge with Budget Dumpster. They advised they would provide the weight ticket, which has yet to appear. I have contested the charge with my credit card company and will be seeking another provider for future use. read more

I found this company when the original place that I was planning to rent a dumpster from did not have availability when I was ready to replace my roof. The initial person I spoke to was very helpful with assisting me in choosing the correct size for my project. All terms were conveyed over the phone and in writing. The dumpster was delivered on time and picked up promptly when I was done. I did go over the allotted tonnage but I knew that I would and that I would be billed later. I was only charged an additional $70 per ton which I felt was reasonable. On top of all that I got a bigger dumpster at the same price that the other place quoted me for. I would definitely use them again. read more

Horrible company! We recently used this company to clean out a home. The first issue was that the company couldn't deliver a container in a 24 hour period ( as stated on their website). Second issue: We called for pick up on a Friday before noon. It was stated that they could not come to pick up till the following Monday, due to the fact it was their "busy season". In fact the container was not picked up till Tuesday. During the lag time it rained for 2 straight days. The rain soaked the household. items thus causing them to be weighed down. The container that we filled (with level top....not heaping) was soaked. And it was claimed by the company the container weighed 2x as much . As a result we have been charged close to $100. extra for rain water. When I made the inquiry as to this dilemma no clear explanation was given to proper pick up time. A pittance refund was offered. We do not recommend using this so called "professional company" as they are anything but professional. read more
