They should change their name. They have communication issues that lead to errors. They corrected but, a day late and dollars short. They get you by not allowing enough weight allowance. Other companies will give you a 3 ton weight on a 30 yard dumpster. They give you a 2 ton allowance. After you get the overage charges you end up paying more than the competitors. Rented a 30 yard dumpster with 2 ton weight limit to clean out the garage. The two of us filled the dumpster over 3 hours. The dumpster was picked up a couple of days later & we paid $699 as per contract. A few weeks later I get another bill for additional $1747 for an overage of 18 tons!!! They are telling me that the total weight was 40,000 pounds! Yes, 2 of us moved 40000 lbs which is equivalent of 13 cars over 3 hours, according to them! After 3 days, I have still not received a response from them or the billing department. I am being ignored and my credit card was charged for an overage that I know is not correct. Do not rent from Budget Dumpster. They catch you with over weight fees. I was told I had 1.5 tons over the allotted 1 ton allotted weight. I did save money initially, but I paid the price in service and repairs to my home. We ordered a 20 yard dumpster for a bathroom reno project, and upon delivery the driver (who was not very capable) destroyed out neighbors lawn, our lawn, left a 1yd hole in our driveway and hit our retaining wall. We didn't see these damaged occur, because the driver arrived before telling us and we were not supervising this 'attempt' at dropping the dumpster off. I did speak to someone from BD customer service about this, but I never received a follow up. The driver ended up leaving the dumpster somewhere totally inconvenient for us. When I mentioned this to customer service they told me it would cost $150 to have someone come out and move it. Additionally, I received an email about a weight overage which we were charged $160 for. The 20 yd dumpster was not even full. We had a 1.5ton limit which we exceeded by 3 tons. Just be wary when using these 'budget' sites. Next time i will gladly fork out $800 and save myself the headache of dealing with this type of company with fine print and charges at every corner. the first time I rented a dumpster from them they didn't tell me I had to schedule a pick up so they charged me $15 a day extra for every day after one week. the second time I used them I scheduled a pick up when I booked the dumpster however they never scheduled it so when I called back to ask another question I found out they never book my pick up. upon picking up the second dumpster they destroyed 2 of my nice larger bushes that were on my fence line. when I called to tell them what the issue was They put me on hold for over 20 mins and never picked up before I had to move on and try again later, when I called back to tell them i was still on hold one person hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. i would NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SERVICE the prizes are not even any better than any other dumpster service, and they get you for wayyy more than other companies by added weight and time fees that they don't filled explain or provide details to until after they charge your card. I had an absolutely terrible experience with Budget Dumpster and will NEVER use them again. The first thing I was surprised to learn is that they don't own any of the dumpster or trucks. They don't control their own supply chain and cannot confirm or manage any of their truck drivers. They place an order with another company to deliver the dumpster, and if something gets messed up in the delivery process they can't really do anything about it. The short version of what happened is a dumpster was scheduled to be delivered, and it didn't happen. This was after numerous calls the day before and the day of to confirm it was happening. It didn't. The delivery was rescheduled again for the next day, and again, it failed to arrive. Same situation, lots of phone calls and they couldn't do anything about it. The dumpster had to be rescheduled for the following week. The people I dealt with on the phone were nice enough, but ultimately unable to do anything to fix the problem when it was happening. On the very first day I told them this was unacceptable business practice and they needed to make amends for this somehow. They said they would. After waiting weeks for them to correct the issue they never did. Numerous calls and emails from me just turned into having to deal with an increasingly rude and hostile person there named Michael. I've never been treated so incredibly poorly by a company I was doing business with. When I hire someone for a service I expect them to deliver on what they promise, and if they can't, they should bend over backwards to make amends for their failure. This is how I operate and treat every job, project and assignment I've ever worked on. Budget Dumpster does not at all work this way. A couple of my neighbors are doing renovation projects and have Next Day Dumpsters out front and told me they've been great to work with and that's who I will call next time. read more

Read all the reviews on here, Google, & the BBB & you'll be able to determine that this company will charge you almost double or even triple the amount you pay first. The first time I called in for a dumpster, almost everything went smoothly (except for the fact that I paid the same amount for the "overage" fees) so I decided to ask for a replacement. BIG MISTAKE! They failed to pick it up the date I indicated and made it seem like it was my fault. It took almost a MONTH for them to take it off of the property. On top of that, they kept giving me a date and no one would show up. Wasted both my time and money having me wait for someone to take the dumpster. I was charged for "failed trip fees" even though they failed to take the dumpster when I indicated them to. I am also getting another "overage" charge for "exceeded weight limit" for the FIRST DUMPSTER I rented! Outrageous! I paid for the "failed trip fees" and let the representative know I WAS NOT AUTHORIZING the payment for the incorrect "overage" charge but she still went ahead and ran my credit card through. If you still decide to rent with them, pay them by mail or some other form DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO! They will definitely max out your credit card without you knowing. Also, I'm pretty sure most of the "good" reviews are from their own employees. I had many of them laugh at me, hang up on me, and are just not useful. First, let me let you know about the good things. The people I spoke to were VERY nice! I spoke to Lou to schedule my 30yd dumpster. He was polite and got me all squared away. Now the bad stuff - the dumpster did NOT arrive on the day specified! Not only did it not arrive on the day I was supposed to receive it, I had to CONTINUALLY call to figure out when the dumpster would be delivered and NO ONE COULD TELL ME WHEN THAT WOULD BE! I was given a range between 6 am and 6 pm - that is it! I literally called all day. At around 5:30pm, I got a call from a supervisor who assured me the dumpster would be delivered that day. It didn't happen. I had to continually check the job site and at 11:30pm, when I realized that the dumpster didn't arrive on the job site, I called the company. Of course they were closed. I sent an email and didn't get a response. The next day the dumpster was delivered. This caused all kinds of issues for me. I had to get a permit for the dumpster and I really did need it for the entire time I ordered it. While the people were very nice when I spoke to them, I don't like the fact that I was assured the dumpster would arrive only to have it NOT arrive! I also don't like that they can't give a more precise range as to when the dumpster will be delivered. Also, after I let them know via email that the dumpster didn't come, no one reached out to me to discuss the problem. The pickup was perfect, but I would never use this company again because their service is just not dependable. As a business owner, I just can't afford to have something like that happen again. Ended up costing me more in overweight fees ( the dumpster was level with the top) and furniture fees than it would have if I had just used a local dumpster company. Budget dumpster base quote was cheaper but I could have gotten more weight and less furniture fee else where. My review is contact your local companies and tell them exactly what you will have. some of the local haulers will charge you one fee for a mattress and box spring not two separate charges. HORRIBLE!!! Rented a dumpster the morning before. Told the sales rep I needed the dumpster in the morning because I was paying workers. He told me he would request morning delivery. It wasn't delivered until 4:30 pm the following day!!! I called SEVERAL times throughout the day asking for arrival times, kept getting the runaround. Told by dispatch it would be delivered by 6pm, by then it's dark!!! I had to start filling the dumpster the next morning. Called the company at 2 pm later that day to tell them I was finished. The rep told me someone would pick it up by Monday of the following week, our conversation took place on Wednesday. I don't like how they blame the Wasteland on charging over fees but there's no way for the customer to communicate with them to find out why. When reserving dumpster they were unable to tell me if it would be delivered next day or following day. Said they would call if would end up being following day. Towards the end of next day when it had not arrived I called to see if they could tell me if it was coming today or not. They transferred me to someone who said they would check schedule and call me back and let me know. They did not call back, it did not come that day. Finally day of arrival the driver calls me to verify address, he is lost-the person who gave it to him spelled it wrong. The address was spelled properly on the agreement I was emailed. Dumpster delivered has a rusted hole in bottom big enough for pieces of construction debris to fall through. I call to schedule pick up-they inform me they can't come until following week because of storm. They said this notice was put out for two days-would have been nice to inform customers, could have been told when dumpster was dropped off. Who stated did you get names? what kind of business is this, do I need to ask for names ?? My fence was down for several extra days and my dog was living in the garage for several days.
