First thing I had to do was wash the windows I could not see out of. Then the washer fluid was empty. Put some in. Stains all over the seats so I put a towel down. Upon pickup, I was told that my final cost would be for the total use of the car. I prepaid $227 for 2 days, as I wasn't sure I could make it back in 24 hours. Went I returned the car within 24 hours, the man who manages the O'Fallon location smiled and was almost giddy when he informed me that my $99 overpayment was nonrefundable. Nowhere on the contract I signed did it say that. I will never rent from Avis again, and am writing this in hopes that no one else will get scammed by them.

I don't write many reviews but write them when it's well deserved. The people at this location are…read moreoutstanding. Let's start from the beginning. I had a claim on my car and needed a rental, I was able to get a ride to the rental shop and get my car without a problem. Unfortunately I had to switch cars and switched cars with no issue and was helped with ease and again had to switch vehicles. Note these vehicles was not of the rent-a-centers fault. They treated me with top tier customer service while helping me with my problems with caring and professionalism in mind. I'd like to give a big thanks to the Branch Manager Andrea Kohrs for going above and beyond for me when I needed to most as well as her lovely employees who I can't remember all the names too but yk who you are! Unfortunately, their car got hit with hail during the May storm. She went down there the next day and they assured her all would be fine. They arranged for the rental to be picked up at the car repair place. Just all worked perfectly. I missed the window to give a review directly from Enterprise so figured I'd share our experience here.
