On June 11, I took my car to Caliber Collosion. A young, enthusiastic gentleman came and got me in a brand new Chrysler Van. Thought wow this is great. Then I was told I had to bring the van they gave me back on Friday. I waited and waited for them to call. Finally around four o'clock I called them. You were next on the list to call (ya). Brought the van back and they tried to give me a car that reeked fo Marijuana!!! I said No Way. Then she brought me a 2024 Toyota. Looked like it already went through hell. Got in, drove home. First thing I had to do was wash the windows I could not see out of. Then the washer fluid was empty. Put some in. Stains all over the seats so I put a towel down. We've rented from this Enterprise location when a car was down and in the shop. Typically, we've had very good service. Pricing for several days or a week has been lower than Hertz or Avis. I called first and asked if they had a Toyota Tacoma available, due to the fact that for my job I need a truck. I was told yes. Couple hours later I came in and they said that they gave the truck away and gave me a Jeep gladiator, which I'm not a fan of Jeeps. Upon my return of the vehicle, they told me that my bill was double what I was expecting due to the insurance I purchased was a daily rate, which was NOT explained to me. Terrible customer service. First put me in a car that wreaked of cigarettes. Then wouldn't let me trade it in for 2 days. After, I was given a car with low tire pressure that was dangerous to drive on the snowy roads. After another few days I had to be given a 3rd car. They put me in a chevy spark. 2 grades below what I was suppose to have. Smelled like a gym inside, was sticky, check engine light was on. I don't get it? Why can't they just give me a car with no issues that is in the same class I pay for? Never will be using enterprise again. Unbelievable. read more

Nice people work there and nice selection of cars at a local location. The problem is that you can never get ahold of anyone on the phone at this location. Twice I have rented and tried to call for the famed "We'll pick you up.", however nobody ever answers the phone at this location. You just stay on hold listening to the same recording for minutes. I have tried several times during different times and you just can't get through to this location. That is a very poor sign of management at this location. read more

I had to have a rental car back in March after being rear-ended. I have a fairly newer, nice vehicle and I was given a pretty sucky vehicle. Besides the point of my opinion of the vehicle, it was poorly taken care of. The car had cigarette burns on the roof by the windows, the buttons on the dash were sticky, and the car was given to me with just a 1/4th a tank of gas. Wouldn't come back here. read more

That excitement would soon come to an abrupt halt. She had spent weeks preparing for this vacation. Everything was perfect. The packing was done, hotel reserved, plans were made. This was shaping up to be the best time of her life, with happy memories to last a lifetime. But then she went to Enterprise. My fiancé, being the extremely organized and meticulous planner that she is, had reserved a car weeks before the start of her trip. An employee named Chase started what would be the downfall of this exciting day. Chase informed my fiancé that she would not be able to rent a car at this location, where her reservation was made, because it was too far from her home. "It's okay," said Chase. "Your reservation will hold at an Enterprise closer to your home." This turned out to be a bold faced lie. When we arrived at that Enterprise, there was no car. We were informed that the policy Chase had cited was false. So we travelled the 25 minutes back to the original Enterprise location. This time, an individual in an ill fitted suit named Ryan helped us. Ryan was much more polite and accommodating than Chase. That is until Ryan started helping other people in the middle of filling out our paperwork. Ryan had also let us down. The end result of this experience was a reservation scheduled for 9:00 am was finally picked up at 11:30 am. Thanks Enterprise. You are a shining example of how not to operate a car rental company. read more

I had a very bad experience. My car was damaged and the dealer got me a vehicle from here. I picked it up and had it for 23 days until my vehicle was repaired. When I got it I was asked about the damage insurance and I told them no because I had my own insurance. Anyway the day before I got a call that my car would be ready the next day, I get a call from a male at Enterprise. He wants to know if I will authorize my card to be charged for this whatever it was for $180+. Mind you, I was at my car, it was dark and I was loading grocery into the vehicle. I told him this and he said all I needed to do was authorize it. I asked if I could call him back. He said all I needed was to authorize the payment. So I said ok. My fault. The next day I left work because I was to pick my car up from the dealer because the repairs were all done. I called Enterprise to ask what did the guy that called the day before was talking about because I was caught off guard. The female explained that it was basically an insurance for damage. She again told me that it was the $180+. She also said that there was a balance of $16 and some change. Okay. So here we are today, exactly a week later to the day. I get a call saying that I have a balance of $300+ and they were waiting to get the okay to charge my card. The young lady couldn't really explain it because she told me in order to get my deposit of $50 back that I would have to pay this $300+. How much sence does that make. So then she puts the manager on and he says it's $400+. So my frustration was HOW MUCH IS IT FOR REAL. Then the manager says, He would take 2 days off....Anyway it was a screewed up mess. I just contacted my insurance. I WILL NEVER USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN. And you throw me in the most expensive vehicle when I asked for a small car. I drove off in a large pickup truck. I made a last-minute reservation for a rental while my car was getting worked on. I planned on having it for two days but I ended up having it for one week. They were very friendly and understanding as my car took longer than I expected. The rental was clean, the office was quick and everyone was very nice and professional. One week prior to the Labor Day weekend I reserved a car at Enterprise via USAA website receiving a confirmation number for the reservation. Later that same day an agent left me a message that the car I reserved will not be available for me that I need to call back for other options. I called back and spoke with someone else. I asked them what Enterprise was prepared to do to make this right--after all I had a confirmation number. She repeated that I just needed to know that the car will not be available on the morning of my reservation so I would not be surprised. Because she was not willing to work with me for a solution I decided to hang up and file a complaint with the BBB. I asked my wife to call back and get the managers name for my complaint. It turns out that she gets the branch manager (Frank) on the line. She explained that he did everything he could to make this situation right. He went as far as to offer us two cars to accommodate the needed 6 person capacity. Since he was out of options and did not find a 6+ person car he gave us the contact information of the regional manager (Lindsay) that she had more options than he did. I called and left her a message detailing the situation. I was in complete shock when the next day she called me back to let me know that a 6+ vehicle WILL be available for me. The morning I stopped in to get the car I was greeted with a smile, positive attitude, and professional service. I was in and out with my car and my vacation was underway. Overall I was impressed with the way the management at Enterprise reconciled the inventory situation. Both Frank and Lindsay went out of there way to make "it right" and they did. My advice going forward would be to call and confirm the reservation. At the very least don't use 3rd party sites to access Enterprise as there seems to be a disconnect between actual inventory and what is published online. So there was one small issue with this rental, so small I would not alter the rating. I wanted to return the car after hours to save time in the morning. I drove to the lot and did not see a key drop box at the building. Figuring this location does not offer that option I went back home and returned the car in the morning. While waiting to turn in the car, lots of returns after a holiday, I learned there is in fact a drop box in the back of the building. So when the agent asked me how everything was and I told her it was fine but mentioned that signage for the drop box would be nice. I would have liked to use that option. How else do people know of the box in the back of the building? Now I know its there I will use it next time. Despite the few issues I had with this rental I would continue to rent from the O'Fallon Enterprise location. What a difference good management makes. read more

Don't book for this location on line.these people are always out of cars.the first time I reserved a weekend special a car online I was told they were out of cars.i also overheard another upset customer complaining about the inconveniences of them not having his car that he reserved available.reserved a minivan for a trip online.i called and they stated the minivan was not available.after speaking with other enterprise call center agents,I was informed that they are supposed to take cars out of the computer if they are not available.instead,they would rather inconvenience their customers.welp.i guess I will just go back to renting at the Kirkwood location......their customer service skills have ways been on point.kirkwood enterprise has always gone above and beyond to accommodate me when they don't have the vehicle I reserved available. read more

I had A very bad experience with these location in ofallon (mexico loop road)and veterans parkway (st charles)and also in st peters. My plan was to take a car and start to iowa from st louis which is 4.30min travel from my place.i thought like i can start by 5 and be there by 11.This is what my plan and this is what happened. I use to take a rental car every weekend on fridays for my local use in ofallon mexico loop.I took weekend deals and other deals given by them. l booked a car on Thursday, it was a compact car which can be upgraded. i went into the location and asked for an upgrade. Asusual i was asking for a good deals.sometime they offer me a full size good car for about 35 dollars per day.i was hoping the same to get on thursday(yestaurday). That guy told me that they dont have any cars for upgrades or anything and he told me he has only 2 compact cars.i can see other cars and i also took this 2 cars before which he offered me .i know those are not good cars and i told him i know these car i took them before and i am not intrested in these let me know the other deals or any other upgrades. The enterprise guy was like we dont have any other upgrade cars not even double upgrade cars and he has only these 2 cars which he wants me to choose from these 2 @4.40 PM. I asked him can i go to the other location and exchange he said yes you can go and check. I went to another location @5.10PM veterans parkway location.they were giving asking a guy with a deal like we have 2 compact seize cars and choose what you want and he choose one car and left. He asked me what can i help you sir.i said i took a car just now in another location and i dint like the car as its making some sound can you upgrade it to another. Than he said if its technical problem you can exchange in airport and unfortunately i dont have any compact seize cars or other upgrades on it.he was busy with calls. Another guy asked me what can i help you with.i told him the total story and he said like let me check.i dont know what messages happend in between them he got a message and he told like all our cars are booked but let me check in the location where you took .he told me that they have enough cars over there i dono why he said you like that.i know he lied me there but even these people said the same thing. So, i went into another location @st peters (5.40pm).There i saw 2 girls on the counter.they asked me how can i help you with.i told them that i want to upgrade the car.They just checked in my booking and they told me unfortunately we dont have any other upgrades and they asked me again what the problem do you have with this car.i was confused i dint inform them anything,i just asked for an upgrade and they are asking me whats the problem with my present car.Nobody gave me the other car neither upgraded me with another car. I went back to the location at 6PM @mexico loop location.I told the guy i dint like this car as it makes some sound.He cancelled my booking without asking or looking into my concern.He cancelled it and told me that you are good to go sir. I was never expected this kind of behaviour as he wants me to forcefully take that bad car and go for a trip.I know i was hoping that they gonna give a good deal or i may also have the option of upgrading the present car so i just booked this reservation in a worest situation and they made it more worse. I had an awesome experience with this location! Right when I walked in I was greeted by Connor Brett, one of the reps here and he was awesome. It was my first time renting a car so naturally I had a lot of questions. Connor made my process quick and easy, answered any questions I had and definately made me feel confident in the car I received. I reserved a car a few days in advance for a trip I was taking and when I got there the car I they were out of the car I had reserved so I got an upgraded car for no charge! Terrible customer service, terrible rental. Reserved a vehicle for the weekend and was called a few hours before i was to pick up to let me know if was ready early if i wanted to pick it up. I picked it up at the regular time and it was full of dog hair and mud. All the seats(front and back), floors, windows, doors were filthy and the new vehicle smelled like wet dogs. We were amazed that no one checked the vehicle and was willing to just let us drive off with it like that. We complained and they apologized and took it around back to clean it. They were surprised that it was that dirty too. I'm allergic to dogs so we were somewhat worried about having a reaction driving it all weekend. The manager offered 30% off our total bill and said he will take it off when we returned the vehicle. We accepted that and after they somewhat cleaned it up(it still stinking but being masked by air freshener) we left. We actually had to stop at the store to buy a car air freshener and buy cleaning wipes to clean mud off the steering wheel and dashboard and had to keep the windows rolled half way down a lot of the time to stand the smell. (it was cold out) when we returned the vehicle the manager saw me walk in the door and disappeared and they ended up giving me 30% daily rental fee but not the total bill like they promised. I asked to talk to the manager and they said he was too busy, so i just ended up leaving. (i was the only one in the store at the time) I have rented from Enterprise many many times as we like to keep the mileage off our cars when we go somewhere out of town but this store always seems to have problems of some kind. The last time we rented we got a new pickup truck and it had no antenna screwed in so we had no radio for 3 days. They said "oh its new and they never had a chance to install it" when we returned it. Really? So let me just say we now will second guess renting from this store and just putting the miles on our vehicle. read more

I was in an accident a few weeks back and my insurance adjuster wrongfully informed me I had a car waiting at (a different) Enterprise location. A member of my staff followed me to the shop and planned to take my to get the rental. When I called ahead, I was informed they didn't have a reservation for me. I called around to all locations in the Chesterfield /O'Fallon /St. Charles area. I member of the staff at the Mexico Loop location took it upon himself to call around to try and find me a car and when that failed, he assured me he would have one waiting for me after work. There was a slight miscommunication between two locations about picking me up - which O'Fallon (Mexico Loop) promptly corrected. Everyone was kind, posisitve and I felt had my best interest. There was another miscommunication but the manager, Shannon, had given me her direct line and, again, promptly fixed the issue. She goes above and beyond for her customers and I would happily work with them in the future. read more

I will give 5 stars for friendliness. However, the last two times we have rented we have had issues. The first time, we had a flat tire out of state because as we later found out from the tire repair shop Enterprise directed us to, Enterprise neglected to have the tires maintained. This last time we rented the car for 2 days for an out-of-state family funeral (picking up Friday returning by 2:00 on Sunday) with a quote of $109. I double checked and emphasized that it would be roughly 12:30-1:00 when we returned it on Sunday but that we would definitely have the car returned before 2:00, and we were told "no problem" with a 2-day quote of $109. When we returned the car on Sunday at 12:30, Barrett, the Asst. Mgr., stated since it wasn't returned by 12:00 he would have to charge us an extra day. After I informed him what we were quoted, he insinuated that he did not believe me and stated at least 3 times, "Well, I'll let it slide this time, but next time you will be charged an extra day." I would not recommend renting from this particular O'Fallon Mexico Loop location. We will most definitely be looking at a different car rental agency in the future. read more
