I've been to this place on four different occasions and never had any issues. I came with friends,…read morehad fun, and found the environment friendly. The service was respectable and the pricing reasonable. However, on my most recent visit, things took a turn for the worse. We ended up leaving early due to not one, but two altercations involving hot-headed teenagers decked out in gear. During one game, my brother exchanged shots with one of them and called him out, saying, "You're out too." Instead of accepting it, the player yelled at my brother and then unleashed full-auto fire on him at close range. This caused profuse bleeding from the neck and left his entire side covered in welts -- and this was through a thick sweater. They claimed their guns were capped at 350 FPS, but it's easy to crank them up after testing -- though that's beside the point. The real issue is the attitude: taking the game so seriously that you lash out and physically harm others is disgusting. Even more disappointing was the staff's response. The player in question was clearly a regular, as the referee called him by name and simply told him to leave -- no ban, no formal disciplinary action. In the very next game, one of his friends (who had video footage of the incident) continued to defend him. When we brought this up to the staff at the front desk, the manager sided with the regular, dismissing our concerns.

The nightly functional fitness classes at the Fire Base ( that's what they call their location) are great workouts... But what I love is that they push you but without sacrificing technique. There is a strong emphasis on proper form and technique. I believe I spent 3 months practicing how to do a proper squat. The trainers will scale workouts for those with limitations, but don't be fooled, they will deliver a butt kicking work out every time! I played sports growing up but have never been as fit as I am now, not in my entire life. Though I incorporate other workouts into my weekly routine, muscle and core strength are huge in achieving fitness goals and overall health. The classes encourage heavy lifting without sacrificing form to prevent injury. I tell people it's CrossFit Concepts without a CrossFit mentality, and the gym is not intimidating, the way a CrossFit gym might be. Especially for people just starting their fitness adventure, this is a great place with a very encouraging atmosphere and teamwork mindset. All the trainers are very nice and knowledgeable and the members all very friendly as well! Other events that have been hosted by team RWB: Monthly Eagle Lunch Monthly Eagle social Old Glory Relay March Madness Bracket Challenge _ free entry and I actually won an Xbox Weekly Run Meet Ups And so many other events you will have to check out their Facebook page for more info. Teaming up with other gyms for free workout classes Every Sunday @ 12pm Free Yoga at Bella Prana I highly recommend checking out team RWB and adding functional fitness to your workout routine. Not only does team RWB help others get involved in and better the community, they can also help you reach your fitness goals and make new friends!

The coaches are always patient, thorough, and more than willing to work with where you are in your fitness journey. I've also attended other fun events like the Veterans Day parade and celebration, and been a part of a Ragnar Trail Run team put together by Team RWB. This organization is such an integral part of the community for active military, veterans, and civilians alike. Tennis Tampa Bay and all the Tennis League Network leagues are great and I highly recommend them if…read moreyou want a self-organized, flexible league. How it works is you pay a flat fee for a season (or multiple seasons for a discount I think?) and then get access to a list of all the other people who signed up and their contact information. Then, it's up to you to schedule matches and play as many as you want throughout the season. At the end of the season, you are seeded based on your total win record in your division, and the playoffs begin. There are also great prizes depending on how far you go in the playoffs, like merch or even a free future season for the runner-up and champion! Tennis League Network has an app (see pictures) that works great and makes submitting scores very quick and easy. They also have tons of other features like finding a court, checking your division's scores, and a "Player of the Year" program to win some rewards based on how many matches you play, how many friends you refer to the league, etc. The owner of the league who I believe created the company and designed the app and everything is also very quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. There are clear and fair rules listed as well that help keep the league running smoothly. I have played against several players that I ended up becoming friends with outside of just tennis too! Thanks Steve for creating a great league keeping it running.

Whether it be the competitive side, the technical side, or the fitness side you can always find someone that wants to play. My 4 stars is unfortunately due to my most recent season. I feel there could be a more evaluated way to make high or low mid season division adjustments for a player. Before someone is moved down a division (or up), there could be input from recent opponents on the player in questions skill level. Getting first hand experience rather than going purely off stats. Or letting the more skilled player stay in there lower division but they must forfeit their playoffs and championship opportunity. SIDE NOTE: Cost of living is too much and Inflation is too high to be playing for a new can of balls.
