I haven't looked back since then. I've gone back several times now, and the guys at Trotters are exceptional at explaining the how's and why's of what they're doing to your vehicle. They're extremely transparent (I've admittedly gone back and done a bit of research the first few times they told me what they were fixing in my vehicle, and it always lines up) and professional. So in the fall I switch my own tires over for winter and when the back wheels were off I noticed the brake drums freely spinning. They aren't suppose to do that which means the mechanic was careless in not securing the brake pad spring properly which took me 30 minutes to reinstall because I didn't have the proper tool.The spring was in perfect shape and not broken but came off due to improper shoddy workmanship. I adjusted the rear drum pads which brought up my brake pedal up over and inch! That's a significant amount of play and unsafe. I contacted the owner and he would not accept responsibility but told me I should of brought it in to fix my issues. That would cost me a day sitting at thier shop for work that ought to have been serviced properly. I would never recommend trillium

I made an appointment weeks in advance for an early morning and put both online and with the lady on the phone that the a/c was not working -- the air blows but it doesn't get cold. Brought my car in on time. The person at the desk told me they couldn't say when it would be looked at as they "only have two a/c techs." Went for a local appointment and walked by Eccles 2 hours later -- my car was still in the same spot I left it. Went home, called four hours after I'd left my car there for an update as I hadn't heard anything. They hadn't looked at it yet and didn't know "where it is in the lineup." ??? Isn't the point of having a 9:30 appointment that it is in the 9:30 slot? Isn't that what anyone would expect for an appointment anywhere? Would anyone who works at Eccles be ok with this themselves -- dinner reservations, dentists, doctors, haircuts, anything? You show up at 9:30, hang around until 1:30, ask them when you'll be seen and they tell you they don't know where you are in the lineup? No. I told them in that case I would come pick up my car and take it to the dealership. Did so. Got there and got my keys and the lady said, "I'm sorry, I was hoping I could get it looked at today, but we only have two a/c techs." WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU OFFERING A SERVICE THAT YOU CAN'T DO? If you can't do it, don't make us go through the effort of time off work to bring it in only for you to hold the car hostage because you aren't actually able to fill the service that day. How long would it have been sitting in that lot, waiting just for someone to look at it and figure out what's wrong? Never again. Never ever ever taking a car of mine to Eccles ever again.

I now have a newer car which uses synthetic but I'll always use these guys because they are kind, reliable and honest. I've had to go to other places due to travel and these guys are by far the best.
