Provident at Buda is s terrible place. Nicole, the manager…read morenever responds to emails about concerns or problems. When she is confronted, she will not help. The food here is terrible and most times inedible. Not cooked correctly and many times, residents complain, wont eat and leave it. Food is very cheap most times. Breakfast though is really good. The medications dispensing is terrible also. Today again my mom's medications were not brought to her, and hospice had to go and remind them. The medication policy here is terrible. Many times meds were not ordered on time and mom had to do without for at least 4 days. The on call Nurse Practitioner is also not good. She took a vacation with no back up provider, and there were serious health problems with my mother. The staff at Provident were told to monitor mothers blood pressure every day for two weeks and they did not do it. After an ER event concerning mothers heart, she returned to Provident with Dr instructions to start taking a new medication. The nurse at Provident would not do it. It took almost two weeks to get them to get the medication administered. Save your loved ones from misery and dont live at Provident

He needs total care and they are providing bathing, dressing, social activities, he loves music. He loves the food, and this past week was his birthday. He said he had the best birthday ever! The facility is clean and inviting and has several group areas with big screen TV. I recommend Provident for any senior who need's assisted living.

My brother was a resident at Marbridge for 48 years. He began as one of the most independent…read moreresidents in The Village, leaving in 2022 when he became more physically disabled due to medical issues. They provided a modern, clean living space, transportation to his work, cooking classes, supervised grocery shopping, and adults available at all times. In 2022 my brother moved to The Ranch as he could no longer physically navigate The Village campus. The Ranch staff loved on him, making the transition much easier. At this point, he fully transitioned to campus life, rather than a working world schedule. They provided an array of classes, with each resident having 3 classes per day. Staff filled in with special activities during class semester breaks. Finally, my brother had further medical issues and moved to The Villa, where there was more access to medical support and services. Once again, the staff had smart suggestions to help this transition and were always willing to work through any rough spots which might occur. Supports at the Villa included an on-site physical therapy team, around the clock nursing care, a PA on site full time, a dedicated doctor, a social worker, as well as daily planned activities. Marbridge was a life long blessing for both my brother and my family. Our experience has been that they provided a quality living environment with appropriate levels of care for all stages of life.

The management's mission of caring for residents doesn't exist. The residents are bored but staff…read moredoesn't care. It is easier to not do anything. As an RT, if you try to help a resident you are told by the director there is no need to. The hardest part of the job is not being able to befriend, help residents. The cottages are not upkeep. The food served is terrible. The residents need assistance in basic care to look clean, shaved, groomed. They need guidance. I left because of the management lack of support in wanting to assist the residents. Feels more like an institution than a community. They seem to keep parents away and tell residents not to tell them anything. I cried too many times to stay working at The Village. You need to either not care to work there or the staff will hate you.
