We tried walking in first, but they were closing after lunch and shut down between lunch and dinner, so we booked a reservation for a couple days later.
We visited in late February, and it felt a little less busy than usual, according to our waiter. We're from Los Angeles, and honestly, this ended up being one of our favorite meals in Rome.
Everything we ate was delicious. We ordered the gnocchi with pork belly (the gnocchi was amazing). The pork belly was a bit too fatty for my personal taste, but my fiancé loved it. We also had a vegetable plate with a balsamic infusion that was so flavorful and beautifully done -- tomatoes, peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, eggplant, onions -- everything tasted fresh and intentional. And the bread was excellent too. Ambiance is super cute and cozy!
Overall, the food, quality, and experience totally lived up to the hype. I would absolutely recommend Roscioli and would 100% come back.
