This was the perfect tubing adventure for my family and I! Friendly staff, easy parking and quick transportation up river. The tubes were inflated to perfection and the river flowed at an easy pace. I highly recommend the 3hr journey!! So much fun, we will be back!!

I recommend you take your business elsewhere. This business is run very poorly by inefficient, non-personable and some unintelligent people. We had the Yelp deal to buy 3 get 1 free. The girl in charge of tickets did not know how to charge us for 3 tickets and give us 1 for free. Instead, she offered each of us $2 off! The tickets are $26/per person. How does $2 off for 4 tickets, which would total $8 be equivalent to saving $26 total! We had to instruct her on what to do.. basically ring up 3 tickets and give us the 4th one free. No-brainer in most situations, but not here. We had to go through this process with her twice, since we were a large group! My group opted for the 4-hour float and, unfortunately, I can't be in the sun that long, so I was on my own for the 2-hour one. I was dropped off by bus at the designated area and apparently I was the only one on my bus getting off here. The guy that helped me get into the water was indifferent and not very friendly. He could have been a little nicer since I was completely by myself. I didn't even know which way to go and when I asked him he looked at me like I should know. Maybe, I should have, but I've never done this before! My boyfriend was meeting up with us on his SUP instead of tubing. One of the guys was very rude and mean to him and charged him $15 to launch his SUP, which is fine if that's what they charge to launch, but be nice about. The guy did feel bad when we returned and gave us back $10 bucks. Some common respect towards your customer would be appreciated, instead of going off on them. I finished up my 2 hour float around noon and by this time the Port-a-Potties were already all filthy. The changing stations were basically a room with a curtain down the center. They could at least created individual curtained areas. THE ACTUAL FLOATING ON THE TUBE PART A 3.5 STAR.

Extremely packed lines

Come here if you want to tube your way into getting Corona Virus! Seriously do NOT come here - no respect at ALL for social distancing whatsoever and the website is VERY misleading. Lines were so long and everyone was so close to each other (children too!) many of them not wearing a masks!!! Buses were completely packed - total nightmare! Although we received a full refund, "management" did not claim any responsibility and she told us, "well I only manage the office" .....what does that even mean? They were super rude. Reporting this place to the state FOR SURE. WASTE OF A DAY! All they had to do was separate people and be RESPONSIBLE! Shame on this money hungry business.

"we love to see you wet"

Came here on a kayaking trip on the Delaware River and had a great time! The river was not the cleanest but the current was nice and strong especially since it had rained the day before. On the way down, saw all the people tubing and it looked like so much fun! I would definitely return to try the tubing. Passed the hot dog man and food stand on the way down and it looked interesting. The life jackets were on the smelly side and could have used some airing out and drying before using them again.

Ask the Community - Bucks County River Country

How long is a standard tubing experience?

Is there a shuttle bus to go back to the parking area?

There seem to be two ways to get back to the parking area: (1) at the completion of the tubing tour; or (2) if you were dropped off by the bus and didn't go into the river, I guess you could ride the bus back to the main area.

Do they check bags or coolers?

Yes. They are checking for reusable bottles and alcohol.

Honestly, I don't know why this place got such few stars? The four stars that I've assigned as well…read moredeserved. I visited on a weekday and perhaps that made all the difference in the world. My experience form beginning to end was fantastic. I think one thing that seems to bother most people is the BBQ lunch. The BBQ lunch was apart of my package and when I arrived they were just loading the buns to be taken out on the river. I'm getting a little ahead of myself here but you'll understand in a minute. When I arrived, there were already several eager adventurous folks checking in, buying waterproof items for sale, collecting their water rafts and some even already on the water. I checked in with my Groupon and as directed, I left my keys - collected my Kayak and proceeded to the bus. Please note, the rule is, everyone must wear a mask until you're actually on the water; great rule as it gets crowded in the shop as well as on the bus. It keeps everyone safe. I chose the kayak experience which was awesome but the real fun is in a tube. After my journey down the river, I immediately purchase another Groupon just so that I could come back and have a tubing experience. So, back to the BBQ lunch. By the time I paddles my way down (a few signs for the waters edge for direction) to the BBQ shack on the water, they were still setting up. I guess I paddle too fast. I decided to keep moseying down the river as I had already packed a lunch just in case after reading the reviews about the BBQ shack not being up and running. Oh well, next time I'll enjoy a burger. Again, this is the perfect mid week escape. The ride outside of NY is quick and there's plenty of parking. Although it says Delaware tubing it's actually located in New Jersey; well at least the border between the two. I would recommend going early and taking as much time as you like in a tube with family and friends. I would also recommend bringing children as they will develop a lifelong love of being on the water. I'm a big fan now and I can't wait to return in a few weeks. P.S. I was told by my bus driver, they offer a fall foliage experience where they only allow kayaks on the river.

If you (and your kids) are experienced paddleboarders, maybe they'll treat you better than they did…read moreus. If not, expect to be berated and humiliated (and your kids.) My daughter wanted to try paddleboarding. A friend loaned me her board and we rented another one. When I told the guy we had our own board he told me to put it in "up at the bridge." I didn't want to send my 10-year old daughter down to their docks alone so I asked if I could put it in with hers. He wasn't happy about it but he did allow me. We went down to their launch site and I asked the workers if they had any tips (how to stand, etc), they told us which direction to face and warned us it was windy and nothing else. My daughter struggled to stand from her knees and fell into the water. She kept trying but was having a comically hard time of it. Meanwhile, I was trying to maneuver my own board to go help her and the wind pushed me over near where the pontoons were docked. Now, please understand, NOBODY was in any danger. This was not a safety issue. We both can swim and had our own personal life jackets anyway and it was fine. Should have been funny even. Well, the manager came storming down to the shore WITH A MEGAPHONE. I wish I were joking. They told us to get off the boards and take a kayak instead. I said ok and would have left it at that but the manager wouldn't stop. He began YELLING "this is why we don't let people put in with their own boats down here. You ran into to my pontoons." First off, I was on his rental and my daughter was on the board we brought, so it had NOTHING to do with using our own board. Secondly "ran into his pontoons?" Are you serious?! I just drifted over that direction. And dude, they're boats. Made to withstand a lot more than an inexperienced paddle boarder rubbing against them so I'm pretty sure they'd be okay. That part was laughable, what wasn't was the embarrassment of my daughter. She kept saying "what did I do wrong? I was trying!" Broke my heart. So we took out the kayak and came back in an hour. Then I took her over to the other shore and let her get up on the board we brought and after a few misteps, she found her sea-legs and did GREAT! (The pic is from then, once she got the hang of it.) I'm so glad we were able to do that. But thanks for trying to wreck a kid's confidence and turn her off of a new sport. Seriously dude, well done.

The outboard was only a 50 however, but with only 2 adults and 2 children on board it wasn't terribly underpowered. Pricing was competitive for the area. The marina was a bit tight but nothing I haven't seen before. There is very little traffic around their cove which makes for a quick departure and docking. I like that it's at the end of the lake which gives you an opportunity to do a full stretch without a lot of backtracking. The store was fully stocked with bait and tackle. This was one of the best boat rental experiences I've had in years and I would absolutely use them again.

I like to go for the fishing boat with motor because I don't want to paddle or pay too much but there are different options depending on what your doing. I would have preferred to make a reservation but the rentals are on first come, first serve basis so make sure you get there early. I wasn't sure how long I wanted the boat for so they let me book 2 hours and then settle up when I got back. I was a little nervous because the boat didn't tell me how deep the water was beneath me, but we didn't get stuck so it's all good. I was happy I brought my radio. I did get lost a little but was able to pull up a map on my phone. They have a lot of fishing equipment for you to buy as well. I had to take a "safety course" to be able to rent the boat but it didn't take long and wasn't a big deal. They didn't even give me a hard time about crashing into the wall on my way out. The steering took a little to get used to, especially in reverse. The first time I was here, I dropped the anchor in the water but it wasn't tied to the boat so it just dropped to the bottom.
