She was honest and open when I asked her personal opinion on the items I was interested in. This location has some fresh faces as it's been awhile since I've been in and the 2 newer gals working today were awesome. I did have them place my order for free shipping to my home and it came in only 4 days! Super fast! They will order out of stocks for free in store or ship to your home for free. Also they will match online prices if they are cheaper.

I waited for quite some time in a line at the store. Finally, I was the next person to be helped and the store manager decided to take a phone call and not acknowledge me. She walked around the store looking for an item for the person on the phone without asking any of the other two associates to help or acknowledge me.This went on for sometime until it became so embarrassing to the people working in the store that one of them stopped and asked me if I've been helped. I said no and then received the help that I needed to do a return. I worked in women's clothing retail for sometime and I know that I would've received a verbal warning had a treated a customer this way.

I hardly ever heard somebody be so nice about giving all the money back to a customer. Definitely one of the best customer service experiences we've had in Minneapolis even though we didn't buy anything. That's why I give a high rating despite insanely high prices on products that I like but would never buy for myself - maybe my dad would like one question mark damn missed opportunity. The question mark was supposed to be an actual question mark. Thanks voice dictation. :P

They did have a couple jackets and vests but for the most part, it feels like summer in this location. I was impressed by the atmosphere. It truly felt diffrent than any store I've been into. They've gone off the boil a bit lately and they're not as popular as they used to be but some people still swear by them. They are expensive and I can't really tell you if they're friendly or not cuz the damn place was actually really busy on the day that I was here so nobody actually talked to either me or Barbie for the 5 or 7 is that we were in here but I will tell you that Barbie never finds anything she really loves in these stores and they're just a little bit too classy and trendy for her. She likes sexy scandalous stuff instead. I meant classy in a bad way not a good way. Classy as in boring and conservative. Lol.

She is spot on, knows my style like she's my own personal stylist. She can find sizes that I can't find in store or online. 1. Great service in store In short, what makes a store special is the service. No matter how awesome the cut and design may be, if I have a horrible experience in store, I tend to not return, what's the point right? 2. Cool colors The brand itself mostly focuses on black and white clothing as the name clearly suggests, and seasonally they choose one color and make clothing items in that featured color. 3. Women's only It is women's only clothing store and geared towards business professional women. You will find some jeans and T-shirts, but their style is not really laid back, and that is what I like about the brand. Their dresses and skirts almost always have POCKETS. That is a big deal for me. In other brands, you won't find pockets. Another thing about pockets is it is big enough my iphone plus sized phones fit just fine without looking bulky and weird. Their midi skirts and high heels are my favorites. I literally have every single one ever sold. And yes, almost half my closet is from this brand. Their tights are the best, very sturdy and warm for women in cold weather to look stylish yet warm. Highly recommend the store.

Ah, the "Inlet". What a funny play on words, Land's End…read more I'm a big fan of Land's End. The Wisconsin based (buy local, ya'll) stuff is inexpensive but great quality. Their Land's End Canvas line is like a cheaper and simpler version of J. Crew and is great for basics. Oxford cloth button downs, check. Sweaters in classic colors, check. The best part of Land's End? They take returns anytime on any item for any reason. A button on a pea coat I had fell off and I was kind of sick of the jacket... so I returned it. Full refund back on my card, no questions asked. I personally hate shopping at the Sears location. Something about Sears smells terrible. Literally, the stench. This location is better, although their selection is always random. Luckily, they have now started carrying some of the Canvas line, which is great. The one thing I don't like is their customer service from employees. Not very helpful ever (it's a bunch of moms). Overall though... always worth a 5 minute stop if you're over there to check out their selection. I scored a nice Canvas blue oxford for $22 (originally $50) last time.

I entered the promotional code, clicked on "place my order" and got the usual order confirmation and order number for tracking my order. Several days later (and I admit, I didn't print my orde confirmation or get an email, which did strike me as odd, but I assumed foolishly that it was in my junk mail) I logged in to check the progress of my order, and found out that it didn't exist. I spoke with an online customer service rep, who was definitely NOT helpful, nor respectful. Her comments pretty clearly indicated she had no intention of quickly assisting me in making the order. My items were still in my bag, and from her perspective it was user error. The new price on my items was more than double the price on the day of the order. Considering the fact that the company has sales daily, her comments were surprisingly not helpful. I have made my purchase from Appleseeds, and I am done giving money to a company that employs or supports rudeness. Rudeness is not part of my value system. Even if the entire country turns to rude behavior, I will not and I won't shop there any more. I have been a customer for nearly 30 years. I am done.
