I love this dentist office. The staff are wonderful. Illiana is very pleasant and helpful she's a joy to work with. Jess is my hygienist, and I must say that in all my years of going to the dentist I have never had such a thorough exam and cleaning. She is also very pleasant. I've been going there for 2 years now and fortunately I haven't had the actual dentist do any procedures. He does come in after my cleanings and verify everything. I've been here a total of 3 times now - first visit I was impressed, doctor was nice and gentle cleaning by the dental hygienist. Second visit cleaning went fine again by the dental hygienist, but then the doctor literally forgot about me.. for an hour. He apologized - but as a business how do you forget about a patient in the room? Third time I also had a cleaning done and the dental hygienist did a great job and was advised to get a night guard which I was fitted for - a dental assistant helped the doctor and they bickered and argued the entire time which was unprofessional. All in all - I feel that the dental hygienists are great but haven't been impressed by the doctors & experience. My fiancé has also expressed frustrations with this facility - them first taking x-rays without asking and assuming that it was covered by the insurance, later gets a $83 bill - calls and talks with billing and said it must be paid out of pocket and were rude. We're switching dentists and no longer continuing business. We continued to go since it was convenient to home and the facility was clean but I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

Had my appointment on 5/17/18 and had a great experience. The lobby is very open and comfortable, had kid friendly movies and tv shows on the television. The dental office is very clean and sterile and the office itself looks very new and modern. The dental hygienists I had was very nice and made sure to explain everything she was doing. When the doctor came in I felt very comfortable to discuss my concerns with him. I didn't feel like the workers pushed my concerns to the side, they were very tentative and listened. I made an appointment for teeth cleaning I went for a cleaning, they did x-rays and scheduled me for deep cleaning, my mother had an appt after me and they cleaned hers but because mine was a special cleaning they couldn't do it that day. I went in for my scheduled deep cleaning today and the nurse had no clue why I even had the appt, they wanted to do x-rays again and had to schedule my deep cleaning again because they never got the authorization for the type of cleaning. I suffer from ptsd and have bad anxiety, its very hard for me to have the courage to endure the procedure or walk in the door. I go in expecting a cleaning for the second time and instead the dr does the same things the dr did 2 weeks ago and then tells would have to make another appointment. This place makes me sad :( read more

I started going to Buckeye Dental Care early this year. I've been in three times and all three times the staff was really friendly and I didn't wait long to be called back. The first visit was for a cleaning where we discussed the plan for my next visit. I came in and got my teeth whitened before I was to have a filling put on my front tooth to match the color. I was able to become two shades whiter but for $300 dollars I wanted to blind people with my smile. When I went back in for my filling I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the outcome of my whitening. A couple days later a got a call from Buckeye Dental offering me another round of teeth whitening on them to get my teeth where I wanted them to be. That made me really happy to know they actually were listening and care. My teeth are now $300 white!! Alison did my whitening both times and did a great job. She made sure to check on my sensitivity each time she checked in to make sure I was doing alright. I would recommend going there, and will go back again if the need were to arise. read more

My Daughter started her braces with Dr Fareed in 2014 while he still worked at Family Dental Care Associated (Sear's Dental). During the consult he told me my daughters treatment would be 24 months that he wanted to have a baby tooth towards the front pulled then pull down the tooth that was behind it. We started the braces then about 2 years later he sent her to University Hospital to have the tooth pulled. The first appointed after the tooth was pulled he informed me that there was no tooth behind the baby tooth that he referred us to get pulled. I asked him why he could not see that on the xray. He did not give me an answer but said he would have to change the treatment plan that everything would be ok. Dr Fareed then opened his own practice Buckeye Dental Care while still at Family Dental Care Associates. She was having a hard time getting in to see him at Family Dental Care so she asked if she could see him at Buckeye Dental. At her first appointment he told her and her fiancee that he would continue her treatment at Buckeye at no charge since he had already been paid by Caresource at the other office. He told her not to say anything to Sears Dental because he was still working there and did not want to cause any problems. Dr Fareed did not want her in his computer system because of this. My daughter also said the dental assistant was also present. Dr Fareed told her she had 1 more year to go. That was 2 years ago. At her second to last appointment he told her since she was 21 she would have to start paying 145 per month. I was furious so I sent him an email twice that he did not respond to. I asked him in the email to finish treatment at no charge since he was paid for the treatment by Caresource. Again he never responded. She went to her appointment today and was told if she wanted to finish treatment at no charge to go back to Family Dental Care or pay him $145 per month. She then went to see a Board Certified Orthodontist after her appointment with Dr Fareed today. Dr Fareed is not a Board Certified Orthodontist. She was told the gap that he caused by having the baby tooth pulled cannot be closed and that she would need an implant when treatment was complete. I would have never had the tooth pulled had Dr Fareed not told us there was a tooth that could be pulled down. So now she will have to either pay for an implant or have the gap. They said she would need another one and a half years treatment. They could not believe she had been in treatment for 4 years. I have contacted the Ohio State Dental Board and found on their website Dr Fareed has been in trouble with them before. I am filing a complaint with them and contacting an attorney. My daughter called to have her records sent to the new Orthodontist. They only sent the email that I sent them. This is because they have no orthodontic records or any clinical notes so how is Dr Fareed supposed to track her progress. The new Orthodontist is going to finish the treatment at no charge. Its a shame that Dr Fareed who started the treatment would not finish it at no charge especially since he has already been paid for it. I don't know what we would do without the new Orthodontist. He is a Saint. I have read some of the reviews on here after my daughter and her fiancee said while they were waiting to be seen in the room they could over hear the other dentist trying to get someone to write a google review for him. When they said no he then wanted their phone so he could post a review himself. Again they said no but he was persistent. This is pretty shady like my daughters treatment.. When I hear back from the Ohio State Dental Board and I talk to an attorney I will be updating this post. read more
