The worst customer experience with car rental I ever had. Lazy staff at the Bratislava airport kiosk who didn't bother to check your car when you hand it in, saying that they were busy (although they just sat in the kiosk and looked like doing nothing). Then 1 and half hour later you get an email from them saying that they found some scratches on your car you were not aware off. You obviously couldn't check the car as you were just boarding the plane. Then they send you an invoice for EUR 800 and a hand over document signed with KB (key box) although you have handed the keys and the car document directly to their staff, and NOT INTO A KEY BOX. I am thank God fully insured and hope that I will get my money back, but have decided to write this review, because the service was appalling and the hassle I had with this was (and still is) just unbelievable.
In addition, my customer experience at the beginning of the whole process was also not exactly five star. When I came to pick up the car with my daughter I asked the lady at the Buchbinder kiosk in Bratislava to go to the car park with me, so we can check the car together. I wanted to have a peace of mind before I drove off. The lady said she was very busy with customers, although I didn't see any waiting behind me. She advised to check the car by myself and if I would spot anything additional (in addition to the damage already on the car) I should just stop at the airport front entrance and report it. I checked the car when I got to it, thankfully didn't spot any damage, but imagine if I would, then drove 100 meters to the airport entrance and report it. They would probably say I did it during my 100 meters drive. Really bad customer experience.
My recommendation to anyone who would consider Buchbinder in Bratislava is ...pay rather a bit more money with a more expensive car rental and hopefully your experience will be better than mine. read more
