The larger water slides were closed, which was the main reason we wanted to come here but didn't get to experience. Had they mentioned on their website that the slides were not available, we would have planned a different day or brought younger kids instead of the big kids. The cabanas were not held down by anything and it was a windy day, I almost got hit by the cabana flying. Maybe have them closed and when someone does purchase it is when you would open them up for the guest. I don't know if people really reserved any cabanas but a few were being used but closer to closing time so I don't think they really reserved them and people just sat there since it isn't getting checked in my opinion. I don't miss like that bathrooms are available in the front and back of the park. The front bathrooms in the check in area have lockers and showers. There is also a bathing suit spin dryer. It seems for the lockers that if you bring your own pad lock you can store your things if needed. It's great they allow you to bring in food but not in coolers but bagged food take out is ok. There is also food available for purchase in the back. Treats and desserts in the front middle of the water park. Parking is shared with the community building not close to the entrance. So for my disabled friends like me, we had to walk even from a disabled parking spot. The park does provide tables and chairs. The cement picnic tables in front are near the treats vendor store. I don't recall what type of tables are in the back near the food but there were more there and by the kid's splash pad area. I would like to return when the large slides are open but I call next year and find out till then.

She made scheduling, updates, and the overall experience seamless for our family. Our swim instructor, Chassis, was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging with our two daughters, ages 7 and 9. She created a positive learning environment that helped both girls feel comfortable and confident in the water. We were amazed by the progress they made in such a short time. Thanks to Chassis's guidance and support, both of our daughters left the program knowing how to swim and with so much more confidence in their abilities. We highly recommend Splashtastic Swim School to any family looking for quality swim instruction!

The first…read moresession there was a confused college kid who was our instructor - first he wasn't expecting us so he was completely unprepared and second he said he never taught my daughter's age range so he wasn't exactly sure what to do so he got some advice from another instructor that was there. Because my daughter is so young it ultimately went fine. The next few sessions were also run by college aged individuals - which is fine, but they seemed confused and very unsure of themselves as if it was the first time they were ever teaching. One session there was another older employee on the outside of the pool telling the instructor what to do and not do - basically training her in real time. Everyone was nice for the most part.

They specialize in swim lessons for first time swimmers. As a parent, I feel so much better knowing my little daughter will be able to float and swim to the edge of the pool if she ever fell in. This is the best introduction to swimming that you could get for a toddler/young child. It is terrifying to think of my kid drowning. Some of my family members have pools at their house and I'm always scared that my kid was going to fall in when I wasn't looking. Now I feel confident if that did happen my daughter would not only float and not drown but also get to the edge and climb out. I am so grateful for this swim school. All the other swim schools in the area are focused on older children learning the different swim strokes like freestyle, breast stroke, etc. which is great for kids that want to be on a competition swim team but this one is the best for introducing kids to swim as a life saving skill. Not that this instructor can't teach the later stages of swim instruction, her own kids are like fish in the water. They are amazing swimmers!

It's adjacent to Larkey Park, so if the shared parking lots get full, you'll find plenty of free street parking. The pool itself is divided into several section - beginners (3.5 to 4.5 feet max depth), diving, and for lap swimming. They have lifeguards everywhere and they do a fine job of maintaining order. The water temperature was perfect. Our 5yo son seems to have a natural inkling for water but he enjoyed the pool far more than the splash pad, which is also popular with young kids. I tried carrying him up on the water slide but he refused. Note: for taller folks, they have a pretty intense water spray on top of the slide that can blind you. Imagine max shower pressure right on your face, LOL! Other amenities are large locker and changing rooms with clean showers, small picnic areas for sun tanning or relaxing, and plenty of benches and tables to store your bags or snacks. They also have a vending machine for cold drinks. Definitely plan on returning when the pool opens up again (9/27/25 was the last day for the summer). A definite bargain at just over $20 for a family of three.

I'm immensely appreciative of them for opening up and coming up with a system for those of us jonesing to get in a pool. They're a saltwater pool now (I just moved to the area, but my understanding is that they did not used to be saline), which I love as it's a little easier on skin and hair. In addition, they keep the place immaculate- every time I'm there swimming, there are lifeguards wiping down all the surfaces repeatedly, and they enforce social distancing very well. I'm really excited to get to swim here more often once things calm down.

We politely and patiently waited in line behind her. This same elderly lady had the audacity to let her 3 acquaintances who showed up later to cut in line w/ her. I spoke up and told her friend that we were in line and that they basically cut. She apologized, but for the future, it would be good for an employee to pls step out and assure that the general public must practice the common decency when waiting in line in a fair and orderly manner. Otherwise, thank you for providing the clean swimming pool, and courteous services!
