Dr. Miller, Sani, and Madden are together, a fantastic team. They are empathetic, compassionate and extremely competent doctors. Dr Madden in particular spotted an issue last year with my son, which turned out to be a hernia in the making, so we were able to get help from Maryland Urology before it turned into a painful hernia. The ability to call them during off hours is always appreciated and they never make us feel awkward or silly for calling, even if we were maybe being over protective. Lastly, the only negative is, there is one person who answers the phone on occasion who is a little short with clients. She can be impatient if we ask questions at times, however the rest of the staff are amazing.

My children have been patients for over 5 years, since they were newborns, and I have always felt they are in the best hands. In fact, they identified my child's need to see an eye specialist very early in his life when there was no outward issue. I will always be grateful to them for the wonderful care that they provide.

I walked into this establishment and was met by a lovely bubbly receptionist that helped me prepare for my first time visit. I stepped on a nail and it was embedded in my foot. After I signed all the paperwork I was greeted by a very charming and pleasant Assistant who took my blood pressure and weight. Soon following the Doctor entered and explained (in layman's terms) exactly what he was going to do for my injury. He really made me feel comfortable. Im always anxious when I visit medical facilities. He removed the nail quick and swiftly. I am a self pay patient (no insurance) and the cost was reasonable. I will definitely be back if I have any ailments. Best staff ever!!!!! Thank you Magass Family Medicine & Urgent Care.

******Update, this issue has been resolved**********I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Mark for…read moreover ten years. Main Street recently sent a message stating that both of my children are due for their annual appointments and I needed to call to schedule them. When I called, I was informed that Dr. Mark does not have any availability until June. I was prepared to schedule an appointment with another doctor, but then I was told that I cannot change doctors without Dr. Mark's approval, even though other doctors have open availability. I am confused and frustrated by this policy. If Dr. Mark is unavailable to see my children, and other doctors are available, what is the issue? Why does one doctor have the power to determine who gets to see my daughter?

If you're looking for a pediatrician, I would try others in the area first. This place is okay, but…read moreit doesn't have a warm and fuzzy family feeling like many pediatrician offices do. It's very cold. I can tell our doctor doesn't remember us every time we come. Some people on the front desk staff are impolite and sometimes downright rude. They hired two new front desk ladies who are wonderful though. But even the front desk staff look miserable when they're working. It takes a long time for someone to answer the phone. The nurse that helps out our doctor has a pretty poor bedside manner and has messed up our child's blood pricks several times, causing him more pain than required. Our doctor is okay but she just types on her computer all of our answers to questions and doesn't give us much feedback other than 'you're doing great'. I don't want to say names because we still go there for now and they are okay at their jobs, but if I did it again, I would go elsewhere. We get an icky feeling every time we have to come here. Also the parking sucks.

Parents who are separated or divorced be warned: This practice will not communicate with two…read moreco-parents. They require you to designate one primary parent, and will not communicate appointment times, information in the chart, etc with two parents at once. Though I explained in two long conversations that both parents have custody, and both need equal access, they refused to provide it. This is simply unworkable for parents who, for whatever reason, are unable to communicate with each other, or do not agree about their children's health conditions. Because they would not give both custodial parents equal access to the chart, we will not be going with this practice.

I've only gone here since covid started but so far I am super impressed. When I called initially to…read moreget information about becoming a new patient I appreciated that I was not put on hold to too long. I ultimately chose this practice due to the quality of the providers, availability of providers after hours and and the accessibility of same-day appointments. They seem to have everything worked out with regards to getting patients in and out during covid. When you arrive you call the front desk and they escort you back straight to your room. So there's no waiting around in the waiting room. I look forward to things going back to normal in the future so my partner can go to appointments with me. So far all the staff including doctors, nurses and NPs have been very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they had auto scheduled the first Six appointments for me. I did end up having to reschedule a few.

I've been an adult patient with Dr. Lin for several years and have found her thoughtful,…read moreresponsive, compassionate, and kind. Her bedside manner is great, and I think she's been reasonable and helpful with rendering care. She's also been flexible with allowing me to do some visits virtually, if practical. I read others' comments regarding other members of the practice, to which I really cannot comment. I've met with NP Hayden, and spoken several times via phone to Dr. Miller. All of whom have given practical and reasonable medical advice. The front office staff has always been pleasant and kind with me. I am a big believer in the idea that you receive what you give--kindness included (not always, but most of the time). People are just people, sometimes we have good days, and other times-- not so much. I am not saying it's ok to be rude, but it's not been my experience that any of the staff here have treated me poorly. I also think it's been a positive addition to the practice to bring on a full-time phlebotomist, which has made blood draws faster and much easier. I enjoy the convenience of not needing to be referred out to another lab for routine lab work. I am not invalidating the experience of others but wanted to offer a balanced perspective from the other end of things.

My oldest daughter went misdiagnosed with scoliosis for so long, it was so bad that when her middle school nurse caught it she needed her entire spine fused. I chalked that up to something that she might not have normally looked for. However the final straw was with our middle son. We were informed this year from his school that he needed to work with someone for behavioral issues with his attention and ADHD. We went through all of the required testing from his school and turned it over to his doctor. The front desk never got back to us, then told us they lost the paperwork. We supplied them with another copy, two weeks went by and still no answer. When we called we were told that the doctor misplaced the papers again. We finally got in to see a new doctor for all of the kids, we have three, and the difference is unbelievable. I don't know why we waited so long to dump this practice!

I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and presuming she was under pressure to see a lot of patients as quickly as possible and this explains the careless treatment I consistently received. She was usually very unclear in explaining things and in too much of a hurry to answer questions, which she would sometimes refer to her assistant, who was also clueless. The whole office was horribly run. No one live ever answered the phone. You had to leave a voicemail. Calls were usually not returned the same day. It could take days to set up an appointment. After a visit, I often got a followup survey about my experience emailed to me. But when I filled it out and tried to email it back, I would get an error message about a server problem. Every single time!!! Nothing about this particular office works! Truly an awful experience! So glad to be done with them. Used to be so much better.
