Having been introduced to Buc-ees through social media, when we saw the many billboards (for the same location - 60 miles, 53 miles, and so on) - on our trip from NC to KY, we knew we had to stop. Firstly, gas was significantly less expensive than at other stations in the area. Inside, Buc-ees is a souvenir shop, grocery store, sporting goods store, restaurant, and convenience store in one. They even have Grunt Style apparel. We didn't actually buy anything, but enjoyed browsing, and found their pricing to be fair. Their restrooms are really something to write about. They are cleaned meticulously. The MANY stalls are full length, with legit walls and actual doors. Inside each stall are hand sanitizer, four toilet paper dispensers, a cleaner you can dispense onto TP to clean any surface, should you choose. Their hand-washing areas are well supplied with soap and motion-activated paper towel dispensers. There are enough stalls and sinks that there's no waiting in line. read more

Bucees is a wonderful place a bit overpriced but I blame biden for that but this place is so clean and the staff is wonderful. It's a great place to stop it's safe and wonderful bathrooms. Gas is cheap also which is wonderful. read more

There are few words that accurately encompass the love I have for Buc-ee's. The staff is always exceedingly pleasant and kind. The shelves are always fully-stocked and fabulously organized. The entire establishment is always pristinely clean, restrooms included (of course)! I feel that all merchandise is fairly priced, making it a great place to buy any road-trip snacks. All the food that is prepared in-house (sandwiches, desserts, roasted nuts, etc.) never disappoint. The entire atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable; absolutely a safe, family-friendly business. I always stop into Buc-ee's when given the opportunity, and I recommend everyone to do the same! read more

Just experienced the worst customer service ever at this location. Was standing in front of a cashier when she put up her closed sign without saying anything to me. The next cashier was not friendly either. I asked for a bag & she literally threw it on the counter. When I asked for a receipt she rolled her eyes, printed & slammed in on the counter. Both situations so unlike the normal upbeat & friendly service I have come to expect. And please tell me you have not done away with Diet Coke because Buc-ee's Diet Coke is terrible. read more

Excellent place to stop if you are traveling through Richmond, Kentucky. Buc-ee's is basically the "Costco of gas-stations." Plenty of gas pumps, and TONS of food options inside. They have pulled pork sandwiches and brisket sandwiches just to name a few. And they are massive sandwiches. You won't wait in line at the restrooms since there are more than 20 stalls. Stopped by here to see what the fuss was about and found gas was 4.04 a gallon and a lot of pumps! I told my wife to get me a Beef Brisket sandwich since I saw 20 billboards on the way advertising them! Oh my goodness this place! I took my grandma to get dinner on a Sunday around 6:30 and it was still packed! So many people getting gas, shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat. We got ourselves a chopped brisket sandwich and when I took my first bite you could taste the smoke of the grill and freshness of everything. Awesome place to visit off Highway 75. So much variety to choose from. It has food, bakery, Fresh jerky, candy, sodas, fountain drinks, icee, snacks, souvenirs, and grocery items. Looks like it would be a good paying job there according to the sign posted. There was like 100 gas pumps and all were full!! Also a place for your dog to go to bathroom and walk if needed. Been multiple times and have had no problems. The gas has been normal prices. The Buc-ee's brand snacks are always very fresh. The cinnamon rolls in the bakery are good. I had the brisket taco for breakfast the last time I went and it was probably the best brisket I've ever had. I'd recommend and get it again. Was one of my favorite stops but I guess now that they are pretty established in this location their attitude towards the customer has changed. I usually get 1 extra bbq sauce to go with my sandwich then I was told they no longer give extra bbq sauce. Then when I asked if they could add bbq to my sandwich I was told to just buy a bottle of their bbq sauce. Well that's it for me. It was good while it lasted. read more

Outstanding travel center. More than 200 gas pumps. Sparking clean restrooms and lines Mooove! Full service food center: packaged grab and go as well as deli. Hot and cold foods. Packaged snacks. Refrigerated drinks: water, beer, soft drinks, energy, alcohol. Buc-ee character interacts with children and adults. Definitely recommend this center as vacation must-do, must-see. Do not let the lines from the freeway stop you from visiting. Plenty of parking for cars and RVs. read more

Every time that I come to Kentucky, visiting Buc-ee's is a MUST. Cleanest restrooms out of any gas station. Anything can be found including apparel, home decor, food, drinks, hot sauces, fudges, etc. I love this place!! read more

I stopped at this Buc-ee's on my way home to Tennessee. We got the sausage-pepper Jack kolache. Very tasty!! We also had the chocolate chunk cookies. Another winner.. Tried the black Cherry fountain soda and it was also a winner. We also tried the beaver chips. THE BEST!! And the gift shop. Wow! There were so many things to choose from. The bathrooms were clean, the food was good and the experience was great. Something for everyone. We will be stopping again. Highly recommend. read more

This place feels like a fever dream. It is so huge once you walk inside, it's almost a fun overwhelming feeling. Welcome to Buc-cees!! I love being welcomed when I walk into an establishment. This is my first Buc-cees experience and it was a great one! My mom who is terminally ill with cancer wanted to take a trip down and visit as we were going to Gatlinburg....unfortunately, she was not well enough to make it. I included her the best way I could think of. I had the brisket boys wish her a happy birthday!!! I can't wait to celebrate her bday in a week with the video of the guys and I also bought some Buc-cees themed birthday decorations! (Y'all have thought of it all!) She's gonna love it! Sixty six bays for filling up on fuel, walls lined with jerky, a butcher's case stacked with more jerky and smoked meats, a bakery counter a baker would envy, a bbq carousel shaped display packed with pulled pork and brisket, desserts, salty snacks, candy, ice cream on and on. Like everyone else mentioned, this place is just crazy big Texas style and packed with a plethora of diverse merchandise and food products. Need a grill or a smoker? Check. Deer corn? Why of course! Log holder? A cup shaped like Buc-ee? T-shirts, hats, blankets? Check check check. It was not crowded when we stopped in, so that was a blessing. If it was as packed as others have mentioned during their visit, I would have happily walked away as it would not have been a pleasant experience but a three ring circus. As it was, just trying to orient yourself, made you dizzy. So I made a mental note of three things I wanted/needed.......restrooms (just humongous), a Diet Coke, and a kolache or two. Any more exploring or browsing would have put a major glitch in our travel schedule so we strived to make our visit as short as possible. I get the draw, as this is an over the top concept for a gas station/convenience store, but if you are pressed for time, as many road trippers are, this stop may just mess with your schedule. read more
