Walked in planning to grab one thing and somehow left with Beaver Nuggets, sea salted caramel Beaver Nuggets, Cajun Boil chips, sweet roast pecans, a sandwich, candy, a Powerade, and more snacks than I probably needed. Everything was actually good too. The Beaver Nuggets lived up to the hype, especially the sea salted caramel version. The Cajun Boil chips had a really good kick to them, and the sweet roast pecans were dangerously easy to keep eating. The store itself is huge, clean, and honestly kind of impressive the first time you see it. Tons of food options, snacks everywhere, and the whole place runs surprisingly smoothly considering how busy it gets. My first time visiting this location, it was about 7:30 AM on a Monday morning and the crowds hadn't arrived yet so the chaos was very manageable. There were a number of fuel pumps wrapped in plastic showing they were out of order but still plenty for the traffic at this hour without a wait. After fueling up the Maverick I decided to visit the restroom which was immaculate as we all have become accustomed too at any Buc-ee's location. I wanted a chopped brisket bbq sandwich for breakfast but figured that wasn't going to happen at this hour so I opted for two brisket tacos over the large variety of breakfast options. I also grabbed a ex-large Dr. Pepper and a square of fudge before continuing my trip eastbound. The brisket was fresh and plentiful but a little disappointing being it's just brisket on a tortilla with no sauce so it was rather bland I purchased two for $6.99 each and wasted one, the fudge was delicious I should of purchased a small box instead of a single piece. One of the things that was disturbing was they had a few panhandlers at the entrance asking ever customer for money to the point it was annoying and irritating I asked one of them if he was hungry and offered to buy him breakfast but he refused and just wanted money, so he was disappointed as I was with the brisket taco. Traversing the beautiful Gulf Coast from Mob-town to H-town to visit familia...Buc-ee's is a must stop at their new location here in Gulfport, MS. First off, the unleaded fuel was $3.18 when current standard price is about $3.50+. Fuel pumps as far as the eye can see. An amazing sight! As per their usual exacting standards the staff was friendly and helpful. The store was super clean and well organized. The restrooms...Oh My...the restrooms are glorious. They are so nice it almost makes you want to drive from home to take a poop! Now the bad. Being that my amor is an east Texas blue eyed beauty, she and I are more accustomed to a true Texas flavor. Y'all...OMG...it was bad, the food was downright awful. Like spit it out and throw it away awful. My bride got a two-pack of the sausage and jalapeño kolaches. The dough was rubbery and mushy, soft like putty. The sausage was flavorless. She took two bites and said she couldn't do it. I took a bite and spit it out and agreed. I on the other hand, went for the sausage breakfast burrito and a super breakfast burrito. No amount a salsa could make it palatable. The eggs were liquid or powered industrial eggs that resembled curddled cottage cheese. Both ended up in the garbage. A true disservice to Texas heritage and traditions. I don't know how anyone makes it past a Buc‑ee's when the billboards start counting down for what feels like half the state, and since we're adding to our growing list of Buc‑ee's visits on this trip, there was never a chance we were driving past the Pass Christian location. Easy to spot from the highway, easy to slip into the parking lot even at 9am on a Sunday, and once you step inside you get that familiar medium‑busy hum that reminds you Buc‑ee's isn't just a gas station, it's a destination people plan around. A wall of jerky stretching farther than it needs to, aisles of candy, brisket on the board, sandwiches ready to go, candied nuts, coffee, Icees, and of course the cleanest restrooms on the Interstate, which is half the reason anyone stops in the first place. I love all Buc-ees! I've not had a bad experience at once yet. My first time at one outside of Florida and it didn't disappoint. The store of course had a clean bathroom but no attendants but lights that indicate vacancies. There's lots of stuff, food for days and Beaver Nuggets! I stopped specifically to get a new cup but with a handle and a different design since I already have a big red and small white one. When in the South.... Gotta hit up Buc-ee's! Visited a location in Texas last year. Was staying in New Orleans and searched for a nearby location. Found this spot In Mississippi, an hour away. Worth the trip! I've said it before, Buc-ee's is like an AMPM on steroids! 120 gas pumps makes Buc-ee's special. Once inside, the sandwich area is heaven on earth. Chopped brisket, sliced brisket, sausage on a stick, chicken sandwich and the one I devoured, three meat sandwich! Had to get some Beaver Chips to accompany the sandwich. Crispy and well seasoned. The ones toward the bottom appeared a bit over cooked, but still tasty. The jerky counter is also worth a visit. Met a gentleman, whose name I believe was Jerrol. Great guy, who was pretty much a sommelier of beef jerky! He knew the ins and outs of each variation they served. We sampled a few flavors and he described how the flavors worked together as well as how the spices would kick in after the bite. These convenience stops are located all throughout the South. We were so excited that this store opened. We have been up and down the 10 before and did not have this wonderful store. Where we live we do not have any of these stores. So happy with our experience here. The store is humongous and has so much going on. It is even kind of overwhelming. They have a fudge station, a hot meat station, tons of jerky, and tons of candy here. They have everything you need in this shop. So many neat things to look at, it would take you hours to get through it all. I know they are huge on the cleanliness of their bathrooms and this is exactly what they are, pristine. They even had somebody actively cleaning them almost as you were walking out each time. They were even dusting the vents on the ceiling. There are over 100 gas pumps at this location. I'm a big Buc-ee's fan, and the Texas locations always treat us well. This Buc-ee's is a poorly-designed mess that should be avoided. The roads are horribly designed. The entrance is unnecessarily bottle-necked. You are potentially looking at 10 minutes of gridlock coming on and going out because of the bad access. Don't fall for the billboards. We love the Buc-ee's concept and while driving from Florida to New Orleans we saw billboards for this Buc-ee's in Mississippi and we knew we had to stop! It's the typical Buc-ee's - HUGE! The restrooms were great and very clean!! They were bringing fresh brisket to the chopping block, so I got some brisket taco! We also got their tater tots and drinks. Checking out was decent and definitely friendly. Then we sat in the car to enjoy breakfast. The tots were cold, which was disappointing. The brisket tacos were tasty, smokey, and great! Their sweet BBQ sauce was also good for dipping into. I just wish they had hot sauce in small packs with their condiments too. We also tried some jerky and bought a couple - Those were so very good! Their black pepper turkey jerky is always a fav of ours! This time I tried their honey jalapeño beef jerky and it was great! So, we brought home a 1/2 pound of each. My son told me we had to stop at the Mecca of travel centers, Buc-ees. The complex is massive, with ample parking and gas pumps for all. Every staff member greeted us as we walked past. We purchased gas, souvenirs, caps, hoodies, and snacks in addition to their famous beaver nuggets and their sliced brisket sandwiches. The entire travel center was immaculately clean. This place is wild in the best way. It's like a cross between a gas station, Costco, and theme park. The sheer size of it blew my mind and the smell of brisket just hits you the second you walk through the door. I tried... honestly, what didn't I try? The brisket sandwiches were amazing I didn't even know they had a three-meat version with turkey and sausage until I saw it. Game changer. The fresh, deli-style jerky counter was a huge win. I just wish the pre-packaged jerky section had a few more unique flavors. The fudge samples were dangerous I'm not even a fudge person, but one bite had me questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. They also had stuffed chicken (with shrimp and jambalaya!), burritos, salads, and paninis... like this is a gas station?! Top-tier food across the board. I used to make fun of people and here I am buying souvenirs and thinking my future grandson needs a onesie with their logo. What has happened to me?!??!? Outside of that, I could pass on it all, at one time that is... it's getting in my head more and more. I will say I got oddly excited when I saw the billboard for this place. I just happened to be heading to the Superchargers here when I realized they were attached to a Buc-ee's. I will also say that I have to agree with that other reviewer. I didn't dig the jerky this time at all. I got the bags off the wall and maybe that's where I went wrong. I normally get the fresh stuff from the case but no one would engage me there on these two stops. In hindsight, that was my mistake I think. I am sure the bagged stuff was made in Sri Lanka or somewhere. I was there at breakfast both days so no brisket sandwiches for me. I did score brisket tacos both days. Day one, no egg, really good with the green salsa, day two with egg, not as good, with red salsa. I like the green better. I just want it to be spicier. I picked up three kinds of jerky as I said, Nashville hot chicken skins, some puffed cornmeal trash, and some spicy crackers as well. Tacos were the best thing I had. They have an automatic tortilla cooker cranking out delicious fresh tortillas. I might need one of those for the house, honestly. What's not to love? Bathrooms: The bathrooms are immaculate and private. They even have the parking lights so you know which are free. There is an attendant freshening up constantly. This Buc-ee's is the largest one I have been to and it was crowded when I went on a Saturday at around 1pm. I was really hungry as I did not eat anything in the morning. The downside is the confusing layout when you exit as I made the incorrect left hand turn as you think there is a entrance in there, but keep on going straight to the turn around to Buc-ee's. I have seen many people make this mistake. I ended up getting gas and going inside. This place is much larger and spaced out. However, the merchandise selection was still the same. I ended up getting a chicken taco which was good with the salsa. I wish Buc-ee did have some outdoor seating for people to eat. Buc-ee's is like a food and fuel oasis on a desert highway. Although I am dating myself here, it's like the modern-day Stuckey's but only bigger and better. Buc-ee's is an American chain of country stores, gas station, and electric vehicle chargers that started in Texas and has now expanded outward. With 36 locations in Texas this store in Pass Christian (pronounced Pass Cris-tee-AN) is one of the newest and definitely lives up to its name. With over 100 fuel pumps, you would be wise to fill up here, as the prices are ultra-competitive and on par with such discount fuels as Costco. And even if you don't need fuel, stopping at Buc-ee's is almost a right of passage if you have never been. If you're driving a Tesla, this is a perfect place to charge up and go inside a while to stock up. And once you go, it's kind of addictive and you just may find yourself stopping every time you pass by on the road. The cleanliness of the bathrooms is enough to warrant a stop, especially when travelling long distances. Known for their immaculate bathrooms, I have never seen one dirty.......ever. It seems like there is always an attendant in there taking care of things, replenishing supplies and cleaning. In the men's bathroom, there must be at least 30-40 urinals and approximately 25-30 stalls. I like how the stalls now feature a green light if it's available and a red light if it's occupied. No one should be knocking on your door to see if it's vacant. It's reminiscent of a catholic confessional, but I digress. Now let's talk about food. I love walking through the front door and receiving a courteous salutation from the staff. Then there's the aromas of all the foods. I love the smell of the baked pecans and almonds, but the smell of the BBQ brisket is intoxicating. I start drooling like Pavlov's dog the moment I hear the food staff say, HOT BRISKET ON THE BOARD! They offer sliced and chopped brisket sandwiches. I prefer the sliced, but they definitely taste the same. Then there's the baked goods, especially the delicious brownies. If you're thirsty, they have fountain drinks "out the ying yang" and tons of additional beverages in the cooler. Don't forget to check out their multiple snack aisles, especially the beef jerky, as they have a very robust selection. Also, their country store offers lots of apparel and other items you never knew you needed, but ended up buying anyway. This location, at 65 miles from home, is the closest location to me. In fact, it's so close, we have driven here more than once as a destination just to gas up, buy some snacks and get out of the house for a few hours. If you haven't been here or to a Buc-ee's ever, come give it a try. But if you don't like crowds, don't say I didn't warn you. read more

I spent about 3 hours here having the time of my life‍. I tried the brisket sandwich(10/10), the Texas cheesesteak burrito (10/10), the fresh made chips(9/10), chicken tenders and fries(8/10), the banana pudding(10/10) and an icee(10/10). What I love about this location is that they have occupancy and vacant sensors for their restroom doors, which makes it easy to indicate which toilet is free to use.
