Seen this drink on their instagram and wanted to try it. Never had boba and wanted to like it so bad but I got sick and threw it all up. Now idk if it just wasn't the right thing I should have tried on the first attempt. Or just in general chocolate could have been bad or bad boba I really don't know or bad milk used who knows. But maybe I'll try it again but I didn't like it. Drive thru took a good 30-40mins as well. read more

Bubbly Brew TeaHouse - Vanilla milk tea with chocolate drizzle & strawberry boba. - Bubble Tea Near Me - Brownsville, Texas

A solid, reliable spot to take a break from after shopping. There's lots of potential here, as Brownsville's budding foodie subculture expands. Boba tea, coffee, regular tea, smoothies, and pastries are what you will find at Bubbly Brew. The boba comes in a variety of flavors. I liked the avocado one. The coffee isn't half bad, either. I had a white chocolate mocha during my latest visit and split some white chocolate macadamia cookies as well. Fairly standard fare, nothing quite jumped out at me. They also keep some games handy, which is cool, because there's plenty of space in this shop to hang out with your friends. I suppose I expected a bit "more," though I'm hard pressed to put my finger on exactly what I wanted from this place. Everything was good, but not outstanding. It's just a very good, enjoyable spot, and I know I'll be coming back. read more

I came here with my sister while visiting Brownsville. I had a craving for Boba and she had never had any. This place has been here for less than a year. And I hope people find out how great their products are - so they can stay in business. The reason for shortening them one star is the fact that it was extremely slow. However, I do understand why. There was only one person working the place. He was doing it all by himself. And due to the size of the establishment and the no customers in site other than us, I understand why there is only one employee. This is why I hope they start getting busier, so that they can hire another employee and keep on going. Their drinks are good and the customer service is good. Their prices are average. I do recommend. read more

Tastes alright but it's the second time in a row I come in and wait more than 20 Minutes in line and they don't have Tapioca :-( they should have a sign out saying they ran out before people wait in line for that long. The time was early in the afternoon so there was no reason for them to be out of tapioca so early in the day. read more

Wow Im so disappointed. Im from Houston and back home we know what bobba is! This is a disgrace The boba was undercooked I Asked for lychee jelly and we got lychee poppers The tea was non existent It's incredibly sweet and unflavorfull! Im sorry Brownsville you've been deceived! Sad to say this is off my visit list for Brownsville! read more

Don't listen to the bad reviews! The employees aren't overly friendly which is not problem to me, I'm happy as long as they aren't rude to me. I always get the mango peach smoothie with the strawberry boba and it's delicious every time! The most I've had to wait is maybe 8 minutes. I love this place! read more

I wanted to try this place out for the first time because the line was always packed well finally went and my first experience there wasn't pleasant. The employee was rude and wasn't warming at ALL and my drink didn't taste nothing like strawberry milk tea at all and wasn't mixed properly all the way because with each sip I took I got the powder from the bottom. So $ 6 bucks wasted and will not go back. read more

Bubble tea is a great place to get a good drink and to relax. This place has a cool and hip atmosphere and the scenery inside is great. Altogether this place is a great place for family and friends to drink delicious beverages! read more

Love coming here time and time again. I've been a customer here since they first opened. Lady at the window greeted us at the window with a positive attitude and made us feel welcome, even shared a few laughs with us. Have been to this place several times now. Their teas are a perfect way to cool off from our warm valley weather. There's free wifi and comfortable enough seating. I haven't been too thrilled with all of their flavors, but my go-to is watermelon black milk tea with the strawberry boba. If they don't have that, I usually leave without getting anything. You can ask for samples of their "sinkers", which include boba, gelatin, or tapioca. Their service varies from absolutely awesome to completely lacking, depending on who is at the counter. They also have a rewards program that provides discounts. read more

Solid boba tea place, with a lot of different flavors. They also have smoothies, coffee, and regular tea options as well. If you want somewhere to sit and work, and don't want to go to Starbucks, this is a great option. Free internet, lots of tables, lots of outlets, friendly staff. read more

Service was good. On the other hand, I asked for a cold latte with tapioca. The drink was water with coffee. It didn't have any or much milk. This is why I am giving it 2 stars right now. read more

I love teas but the way they serve them here are far beyond watered down and not fully flavored. They do have a wide variety of the menu and free bobas to add. Great service and menu. Most of the drinks I've tried had great flavor except the Thai tea smoothie.

I love Bubbly Brew smoothies. The almond coconut with tapioca is just about amazing. We aren't huge fans of the tea based drinks as much as they often seem a bit weak but the smoothies are amazing every time. Only real negative, it seems they often run out of tapioca. Oh, and the interior is modern and clean. It's definitely a place I'd take out of town guests. read more

The milk teas I tend to get always end up being a bit too chalky for me. The tapioca pearls are decent they have a nice texture to them and the taste is pleasant. The popping boba is very yummy, and I like them the most. Overall the boba tea is alright honestly not the best. Friendly staff, very attentive, clean place, great atmosphere. read more

I am giving this place 2 stars due to their customer service. I went there before and ordered tea without a problem. It was very good and refreshing. This time I sent my husband and he ordered 3 smoothies with bobbas in them. All cups were marked for the bobbas however one did not have any at all. When I called them to tell them all the manager could say was "well it's not like we charged you extra for them, they are complimentary. " What's the point of calling it "bubbly" if there's nothing bubbly about it. So sad to see such a nice new place run by people who don't care about giving good customer service. read more

So cool to have this in my hometown, reminds me a lot of similar places in Houston. Everything is excellent except no soy milk as I am lactose intolerant.
