If you are staying for your coffee, they use real ceramic cups and not paper cups, which I like. The ambiance is nice and cozy, since they expanded the seating area and put the merch in the back of the establishment and not in the front anymore. It does have an inviting feel for me. Plus they actually do make cold brew, which is a procedure to make the coffee less acidic. It is slow dripped over long period of time, like other places like Starbucks that serve expresso on ice and call it cold brew. There is actually a reason to making cold brew coffee. Two female baristas manned the shop, and were kind enough to explain what "marigold" tasted like, since it was a flavor option. My sister ordered a matcha latte, and I ordered a cortado and a marigold latte. We sat outside by the aloe plants since all indoor seating was occupied by folks working on their laptops. The cortado was bitter but nice, and the latte was exceptional. It kinda reminded me of chamomile in terms of flavor. It was subtle and delicious. We took some drinks to go, including a sort of guava mango drink that was very pretty. The cool thing is even after the ice melted, the colors remained separated. I look forward to bringing my mom on my next visit!
