The machines don't take quarters so I tried using my credit card... I got an error message. I tried a second even more expensive machine. No luck. Imagine hating your customer base so much that you don't allow change or personal credit/debit cards, but you force them to buy a special card to use on your machines. So many great women and the man with the glasses who is always up front is always so friendly and nice to me. It's Just a pleasant place. Dryers took forever, adding cost while they failed to function properly. One washing machine broke after I put my detergent and money in. When I called the number, the owner advised me to move my detergent soaked clothes to another machine. As I was folding I realized my clothes picked up an awful smell from the washers and/or dryers and I spent $75 more dropping off my then-stinky clothes down the road to be redone because I was pressed for time. Owner said he would reimburse me, asked for my address to send a check, and never followed through. Months later, when I called to ask why, he said I needed to send him a receipt, something he initially said wasn't needed. I never bothered digging up my bank records or retrieving receipts from the log books where they did a much better job (across from the bus station). Just vowed to share my experience of their awful environment and the owner's idea of service in a review at some point. So now you know.

I called and spoke to the owner two times and explained about the missing expensive Brooks Brother's pants and HE SAID someone would call the next day. I said hello to the attendant as I deposited my money into the dryer. She replied with pleasant hello. I proceeded to sit on a near by bench when she saw my service animal. She proceeded to tell me that they have a no pet policy and that I would have to leave the laundromat. I informed her that my dog was not a pet but a service animal. She said it didn't matter if it was a service animal I would still have to wait outside while my clothes dried. I asked her to call the owner, she refused. I asked her to call the police so that they could explain the service animal law, she refused. I went outside to call the Town of Newburgh police and waited outside for the to arrive. While waiting a customer pointed out a sign that was posted, "No Pets unless it is a service dog with paperwork in hand." My clothes had dried and the attendant stated that I could not fold the there and that I would have to leave and fold them somewhere else. I took my clothes outside and waited until the officer arrived, approx. 9:00 p.m. stating the owner Angela Kinan has officially trespassed me from the laundromat . At approx. 9:21 P.M. the Supervisor arrived to try and explain to the attendant that what she was doing violated the law, however she was unwilling to comply with the ADA laws of New York and Supervisor gave me the blotter number .

I've always had laundry facilities at home until recently so I'm not entirely sure if what I paid to clean my panties...I mean underwear (don't judge me; LOL) was expensive. But for what I paid I feel like my clothes came out really clean and the dryers dried as I expected despite the quarter only giving me 6-7 minutes. I really didn't pay attention to how much time each quarter gave me I just put enough for an hour dry time. If others in this area thinks this place might be expensive I hope the owner keeps it that way because this facility is worth the price of admission. The women constantly bother you when you just want to be left alone to do your laundry. The one from Eastern Europe, especially, comments on everything, sits down directly in front of you, staring, as you load. And if it's after 8pm, forget it! If she sees you have clothes you haven't put in washer--even tho you're well aware and don't intend to do them, she panics. Starts interrupting you when you're trying to concentrate on divying up different loads--and actually causes you to be later. The other one--mother of owner--if you're talking to another customer, sticks her two cents in. Omg just not worth dealing with nosy, interfering people.
