Hitting sales with one over-caffinated Mom (hi, Mom!) leaves me thirty. THIRSTY FOR BUBBLE TEA.
Thankfully there's a Bubbleology on the top floor of Harvey Nichols. Express elevator, please!
Lotsa options: hot and cold, milky and/or fruity. I always go for cold, and am particularly partial to the passionfruit and mango mash-up. With half-ice, plz.
I really like Bubbleology tea: it's quite sweet, but the flavour is really on-point and refreshing. I'm not the biggest fan of tapioca balls, but I like the size of Bubbleology ones best and not just because they're of a size that makes me less paranoid about insta-death-from-choking.
I ended up with 4 stars as an average: I'd give my tea enjoyment a score of 5/5, but I find the process for purchasing a 3/5 in this location. First, you have to queue in the small space (it's in the food halls so during peak time it's a frenetic environment to start with). When you finally get through to order, you then have to leave the queue to pay at the Harvey Nichols registers only to then return to the Bubbleology kiosk to collect your drink. Phew! Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, because this isn't a stand-alone Bubbleology, freebies due to you c/o your loyalty card aren't applicable here. WOMP.
Yelp note: I concede: no matter how annoying the purchase process is, tea pairs deliciously with people-packed shopping! Thanks for being there, Bubbleology. read more
