Their most popular drink was Hong Kong milk tea so I gave it a try. Good quality of tea used, as it was very smooth even tough the tea was indeed bitter. I added popping lychee for some sweetness. Great customer service as they gave me a try for the sweetness level to make sure I like it. Would love to be back again!

The store was very cute, and had a lot of variety in bubble tea. Got the Matcha Milk Tea with Almond Milk-- honestly wasn't really one of my favorites. It tasted more watered down, and didn't have that strong matcha kick that I usually like with my boba. I didn't get any reduced sweetness and am glad I didn't, because the drink wasn't too sweet normally total was £4.25

Drink: Earl Grey Milk Tea with Boba Was really excited to try a boba shop in London Chinatown, and it was good but not anything new. The earl grey milk tea tasted authentic and I liked the real tea taste. It wasn't very sweet, so it's good for those who enjoy the pure tea flavor. The boba was okay in terms of texture, but not sweet at all so it didn't add anything to the drink. Overall, I like the healthy approach Biju takes, but it doesn't make a memorable drink experience.

Tried the hong kong milk tea and too powdery not gonna waste my time reviewing here. Not worth the money and not recommended and dont waste your time here even i would not be coming back. Cheers i hope this help!!!

    Restaurant hours on door.

We walked to this place because on Yelp and on the door of the store, it says it is open until 11:30. We got there at 10:59, more than 1/2 an hour before stated closing but the young woman at the counter rudely said they were closed and implied we were rude for even coming in. See the picture below. It's a Tuesday night and they definitely close at 11:30. Either change your posted hours or stay open!

Thai milk tea4/10 -too bitter, needed more sugar and less Thai leaves ( you can tell by how orange drink is in pic there was too much Thai leaves ) Matcha milk tea - 7/10 very good quality matcha but needed to be sweeter Black mouse tea - lovely ! Personally don't like the cheese flavor with tea although it wasn't too overwhelming just a hint too cheesy for me 8/10 Boba was average

Excellent staff. Great selections for vegans. Fantastic opening hours. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes bubble tea.

Pistachio milk tea - overpriced, but it's London. And it was worth it. SO GOOD.

Three words: pistachio milk tea. Rocked my world. Fresh-brewed tea and honey-soaked, perfectly cooked pearls...I'm in love. Just the right amount of ice. Also, for tourists or expats looking to hang with the local soho hipsters, you'll definitely be the only non-Brit in the place. And I definitely was the only non-hipster. But they welcomed me anyway. ;)

I was in London for a weekend and my cravings for boba were at an all time high so I decided to stop at Biju. It's located in Chinatown London so it wasn't hard to find at all. There are some good options on the menu so I didn't feel limited. I was in between the matcha or the Thai tea but I went with the Thai tea and unfortunately I was disappointed. It was kind of watered down and I ended up just chugging it without enjoying it. I can't say I wouldn't give it another chance though because not all Thai teas I've tried even in the U.S. have met my expectations so I want to try a different milk tea next time and when I do I will update this review :)

If I could, I would rate Biju as 3 1/2 stars. We were exploring the area around Chinatown, and was getting thirsty. We noticed Biju and decided to stop in. The space isn't very big, but it has some interesting seating areas (looks like carpeted stairs on the left side) that you can enjoy your drink. I ended up getting a passion fruit tea with boba, and it definitely hit the spot after walking the whole day.

tldr: Not the best bubble tea in the world, but definitely the best in London. Biju makes good asian milk and tea drinks. The drinks are not too sweet. The tapioca balls are soft and chewy as they are made on-site. The cafe does lack comfortable seating. I recommend the matcha drinks, particularly the latte.

Curious with this bubble tea and went here give it a try For hongkong milk tea : 3/10 horrible taste Is far from hongkong milk tea, no sweet at all and strange smell of the tea Lyche tea : 7/10 strong tea taste (a bit bitter) but so far i like it

    Xue L.

We were excited to finally get bubble tea after days away from asian food and drinks. We wanted to try a brand we can't have in north america. We ordered the HK milk tea and the earl milk tea. We were a bit disappointed because they tasted a bit odd. They were very watery/diluted and just didn't taste right. The place itself is cute but very small. The staff is nice and the service is quite quick.

My daughter really enjoyed her bubble tea but there was really vulgar music playing in the store. Not the best ambiance at all.

This was just ok. I got the matcha milk tea with boba, but had to wait 20 minutes for the boba which was still hard and bland.

Went for Afternoon Tea…read more Food - 5/5. Teas had great aroma and gentle bitterness. Earl grey had a floral scent while the English breakfast had a stronger astringent flavor. The scones were the highlight of the entire experience. Compared to the scones in America, the ones here are more savory, firmer, and way less sweet. Despite the firm crust, the crumb is very soft, leading to an excellent texture. The clotted cream had a clean richness, having none of the heavy mouthfeel you get from cream. The jam emphasized the natural sweetness of fruit with a hint of sourness. The clotted cream and jam were spread into a perfect ratio, resulting in every bite of the scone having a balance of all three. Sandwiches were simple with the manchego being my favorite. The bread's drier texture and the cheese's strong flavor paired well with the tea. The cake were soft and very sweet. By themselves, the cakes were overpoweringly sweet but with the tea, it was perfect. Service - 5/5. Very accommodating and welcoming! They had an alternate schedule that day and we arrived near their closing time, but they extended it by 30 minutes to allow us to fully enjoy our afternoon tea. We didn't utilize the entire extension out of respect for their time, but that kind of generosity really added to the experience. Value - 5/5. I'm not entirely sure why the cost of afternoon tea is so high as many locations I saw were showing prices that were £80+ . In comparison, Tea and Tattle offers a traditional set for two people at a very reasonable £48. Portions were good and looked the same if not better than those offered at way higher prices. It is worth visiting just for their scones alone! Excellent location to experience afternoon tea. Parking - N/A

My sister-in-law is an amazing planner, and since we were meeting family in London for a few days, she planned a wonderful tea for us here at Tea and Tattle. This place is an old family bookstore that was then turned into a wonderful spot for afternoon tea {with still carrying on the feel and look of a quaint book shop}. Reservations are required since it is only large enough for two, maybe three seatings at a time. Once your party is seated, you will receive your menu and decide on the Tea menu that you desire {how many Teas, Sandwiches, Cakes and Scones - with a wide variety of each}. Would you prefer a Coffee, a Smoothie or a Salad? No worries, they have those options as well. Be sure to inform your host about any allergies as they can customize your tea settings based on any restrictions. The Hubs and I decided on the Tea For One - This included a pot of Earl Grey {or your tea of choice}, a selection of five Mini Tea Sandwiches which may vary {ours included Cream Cheese, Chive and Cucumber / Mature Cheddar and Chutney / Ham, Rocket and Red Onion Marmalade / Ham with Mayo, Mustard and Tomato / Chicken with Cucumber and Lemon Mayo Chutney}, Scones topped with a Delicious, Mouth-Watering Cream and Strawberry & Raspberry Jams as well as Lemon Cake and Mini Chocolate Eclairs. Each guest will also be served a deliciously tangy glass of lemonade as a final sip for the afternoon. Every single bite and sip of tea was perfectly paired and the experience was a wonderful way to spend our last day in London with the family. I highly recommend this experience if you want to feel a little extra fancy and enjoy a spectacular afternoon tea.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
