We paid $200 for our family to do all 3 exhibits and were excited for all the pictures we'd take and our kids to see all the silly things. I wasn't expecting to like Museum of Illusions but that one was as advertised and the pictures came out pretty fun. The place was smaller than expected but there were a lot of different scenes to try and we enjoyed following along the reference pictures and pretending to be grabbed by large gorilla or being stuck inside a spider web. Upside Down House is where we felt a bit deceived. We were excited for the kids to see everything upside down and pretend to be on the ceiling. When we walked in, everything was very Stranger Things-esque. The whole house was lit up by red LEDs, there's "blood spatter" and bloody hand prints throughout the house and black tendrils all over. While I appreciate "the upside down" reference to Stranger Things and understand Halloween is coming up, I was disappointed because it was a bit scary for my kids and wasn't the cute, colorful rooms I was expecting. The Giant's House was better and probably the favorite of the 3 exhibits. Most of the giant items were as expected and the kids really enjoyed seeing the extra large items. There was still a large kitchen area that had a lot of gory items and blood everywhere, which unfortunately still ended up in the background of the large cake slice, but that was really the only gory Halloween piece in there. Overall, the kids still had a good time wandering around but for the price, I wish it was advertised somewhere that they're having some sort of Halloween event right now. Nowhere online does it state any changes and we were not told ahead of time while purchasing tickets.

There were 3 gaming rooms in total, one for color lights, one for laser maze and one for the pixel room. All of them were unique and fun in their own way but our favorite was the pixel room. When door first opened for the pixel room our eyes were filled with awe and excitement. The whole room was filled with interactive pixel panel and it even spread onto the wall. I would say just by this room itself already justified the pricing for the whole thing. It would be amazing if there was an option to just enjoy the pixel room since you do require a ton of stamina for playing the lava game here. Overall, an amazing experience coming here. The staff was super friendly and informative on each room's game rules, the decoration are very creative and funny, and each room have their own charm and entertainment. This place is perfect to celebrate any occasion for people who love having fun or just want to relive as a child.

We'd never heard of it, but we were up for an adventure and decided to try it out. I made reservations online through their website where they request a deposit and the balance is due upon checking in to their facility. Ricky was our host and he was great! He was very accommodating and encouraging because, let's face it, we aren't as young and agile as we used to be! I'm so glad I wore comfy clothes because I was SWEATING! Wasn't expecting quite the workout from immersive gaming, but there we were! Ricky had the air conditioning cranking for us and it was very much appreciated! You have to wear grippy socks, which you can either bring your own or purchase a branded pair from Pixel Rooms. Cool little souvenir! You're given 20 minutes in 3 rooms. The first room has 3 different games, which we tried each one. The second room is a laser maze which changes at each level. That was interesting! Wasn't expecting to have to army crawl across the room! The last room is a "floor is lava" challenge and that was exhausting! There was one that was set up as pacers and I thought we were gonna die! The place is GREAT! I think we should come back and bring our kids! Don't hesitate to try this place out!

I had visited the museum four years earlier and really enjoyed it. As a music fan, and someone that worked in the Music Industry for many years, it is a great place to visit if you are a music lover. The museum is a part of the L.A. Live complex. There are several entertainment venues within the complex. The night we visited, we parked in a private lot a couple of blocks away on Georgia that charged $21.65. For our show, doors were scheduled to open at 7pm and we lined up about 40 minutes ahead of time. The actual doors didn't open on time, and it seemed like there was some confusion between the lines for VIP guests and the non-VIP guests. Once we were allowed to enter, there was no real direction from the staff, but since I'd been there before, I knew where we needed to go. The Clive Davis Theater seats about 200 people, so it is a very intimate experience. Unfortunately, it was really hot in the theater, which was surprising because the rest of the museum was very cold. Do know that there are no concession stands, so no food or drinks available. Overall, I enjoyed the museum a couple of years when I went the first time, and the show this second visit was fun.

To add to this, we needed to be buzzed in so we could enter the premise. Once we were inside, the ambiance changed completely and there were a couple of IG worthy spots to take pictures while checking in. We opted for the spinning art experience since my daughter is too young to partake in the more elaborate ones. Originally, we booked for 4 people but one person got sick so we asked if we could transfer the funds for that person for another experience since there are no refunds. Luckily, was able to contact them the day before and added the bunny paint pour over experience. Ozzie was our guide and he was super kind and gentle with my daughter. We were instructed to pick 5 colors and then we donned our plastic bootie covers, apron and gloves. We entered our designated art room and was blown away by all the colors on the wall. There was even a tire swing which my daughter was all about. The spinning art experience was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing my daughter embrace the paint. I think her favorite part was when she had free rein to paint all over the walls. Overall, we had a great time. Only down side is that it does go by super quick and is quite an expensive experience for one hour. However, we get to have a treasured memento which is ready for pick up about 5 days afterwards and we did have a great time. That being said, #noragrats!

On your way to the entrance , there are lots of vendors: food, aqua Fresca, clothing, hats, umbrellas, etc! So if you forget something at home, You'll be fine! Note/ there are people who protest at the front gate but they didn't bother anyone. Inside the zoo, there's a coffee bean truck, dippin dots, ice cream trucks , plenty of spots to purchase food , drinks, snacks, and refreshments. I saw a few grills and cafes as well. Overall look of the zoo echos many reviews left on Yelp, of it being run down and looking old and needing some maintenance. One thing to point out, the staff at ticketing gate didn't check my purse or diaper bag.... I would think just for security measures they would check pockets and bags. There is an area for kids / playground. There's also a small area where you can get up close with Vietnamese pigs and brush goats! There were no horses, elephants, or lions. I liked the how the zoo created an environment where it felt like we were traveling to Africa or North America , or Asia! I really like the Asian themed bamboos, and temple like structure! It was my favorite part! We purchased pictures taken by the photographer at the end of the trip for memories! It was nice to enjoy this time with my family. Thanks LA ZOO!
