However, as the groom, I absolutely did not have to endure a 'bridezilla.' Jacqueline and Darryl were the primary factors for this. Jacqueline was at every dress fitting, and the bridal shower. She helped form the strategic plan, but was on point with the smallest of details. The contacts they had for every imaginable service made planning a breeze. Although they are very busy (for obvious reasons), they promptly replied to every email, text message and phone call. They went above and beyond to serve as referee, counselor, mediator, and fixer. I cannot accurately describe how reassuring it is having a go-to (or two) to put out any fires or better yet, prevent them before they started. For brides-to-be, you will not find a better planner with more solid contacts in the industry. For grooms, cut the check! In retrospect I would have paid triple what they charged for the quality of life and piece of mind leading up to the events, and for the smile on the face of my beautiful bride on the day of. It has always been my goal to provide the best experience possible, not only for my client, but for the wonderful community they serve as well as their generous benefactors. In pursuit of this goal, Mulino's at Lake Isle has always been my number one choice to host their events! The central location of Mulino's at Lake Isle makes them a desirable choice in terms of convenience. However, there are many other factors which make this venue my top choice. Beginning with the rich decor and attention to detail which exceeds that of other comparable venues, adding to that; the impeccable service delivered by their knowledgeable and friendly staff. All of the above provides the perfect setting for guests to enjoy the superior gourmet cuisine which their top chefs consistently deliver from their list of extensive choices! Banquet managers Linda and John have always gone out of their way to ensure all our needs have been met. Their attention to even the smallest details is second to none! Linda consistently works to customize the menu to my requests for themed events. She is readily available and responds to all communications expeditiously. After getting engaged I thought I would be able to handle planning a wedding in CT while living 800 miles away in Chicago, and I quickly realized it would be a huge challenge. Once I began working with Caitlin I immediately felt more relaxed and less stressed. She was always on top of her game in every way. She was there to answer any questions I had (which often came via frantic email/texts), and she was really helpful when I was trying to decide things about decor, wedding day timeline, guest accommodations, etc. She was in constant communication with all of my vendors, and was always quick to respond via text or email when needed. The weekend of the event she was super organized, and made sure everything went smoothly. She was there to field any questions that came up so I didn't have to, and made sure every detail was how I wanted it. I could not have done it without her help! My late husband, Ashley's father, had promised her the wedding of her dreams and she had, over time, created a vivid and richly-detailed vision of the event that Sarah 'magically' made real for her. I ran my own catering company for twelve years and planned my share of weddings; I am well aware that Sarah's graceful and seemingly effortless execution of the entire extravaganza was, in reality, the result of assiduous attention to detail, tireless preparation and contingency planning and a wonderful capacity for collaboration and communication. She juggled the often conflicting priorities of the bride, the site planners, the hotel event staff and literally dozens of other vendors, while subtly nudging them all toward a coherent team effort with charm and finesse. I know from professional experience how much hard work goes into making things look easy. Often, it's the little touches that leave lasting impressions and fond memories. In the final, hectic minutes before we left the house for the ceremony, it was discovered that one of the wedding party did not have his specially matched tie (all of the ties had been ordered months in advance and couldn't be replaced.) Sarah made a matching tie "materialize" out of thin air ; always "Be Prepared" for any eventuality. She had saved a spare. Moments later, as we awaited the arrival of the shuttle, she noticed that my son, who was perspiring freely in the 90 degree heat, was in need of tee shirt to protect his dress shirt, she raced off and bought him one. A true pro...a great company!
