I actually had lunch and then walked here, which is next door, to have a nice scoop of ice cream. I was looking for the coffee flavor, and the young man behind the counter quickly pointed out that they had the flavor, which is a favorite of mine. I added the Butter Pecan on top; it's the best combination. I must add that both scoops were very rich in flavor, and the pecans were whole, not the little chips. Also, it was the right texture, not soft and creamy or hard. It was just right! So, I will have to put this place as my number one spot for ice cream.

The young man continuously repeated that he wasn't on the clock and that he didn't know why he was working. One young lady finished an order and immediately threw my fruity pebbles on the tray. After asking her if she was going to clean the tray off she simply said, " why are you allergic or something?" I said no but then she rebutted "Your not going to be able to taste it so that's why I didn't clean it". After asking her to remake it she told the other server and said here you remake it I'm not remaking it. The other lady stepped in and remade it on a clean tray no problem, but the 1st lady was arguing with me when the tray clearly had another flavor still leftover from her previous roll. Our new server had immediately wiped off her tray without begin asked after making my order. So it was disheartening that our 1st server didn't wipe ours off.

I thought we were walking into an Italian ice experience, but it was so much more! Their specialty is layering Italian ice with soft serve and adding a topping. They also have ice cream sandwiches (layered in Oreo-like cookie-cakes) and ice cream cakes. They offer samples if you are unsure and need to try some things first. I was in with my two mini people, so I let them choose their treats. My tiniest one chose an ice cream sandwich with vanilla and sprinkles. My almost bday girl chose a cotton candy Italian ice layered with vanilla and topped with sprinkles. I was *all in* on the seasonal pumpkin menu and went with a specialty item recommended by the cashier: pumpkin pie ice layered with vanilla and topped with biscoff cookie crumbles. Both me and my daughter ordered the small cups but we should have ordered the "mini" cups. The desserts come out stacked high...so the small turns out to be a bigger serving than I anticipated. The restaurant is clean and decorated in bright colors. There are 4 tables inside that seat 2-3 people and some tables outside. Thus, seating is tight as this is not a large space. The 6 of us pretty much filled the "dining room" space but we found ways to move around for those who came in and also wanted to sit inside. The restroom is also clean, and there is ample parking in the shared lot of this strip mall.

They are fine without dipping sauce, so let's talk dipping sauce. Freddy's has regular, smoky, and jalapeno. The regular sauce is like Zaxby's (that's a good thing).
