This is my experience. Had heard good things about Bubba's Automotive. Went in and talked to them (9-08) about working on my vehicle. Gave them all the details and also told them I was not in any rush for the vehicle. They scheduled work to start on 9-15. Dropped off vehicle on 9-11. Went in on 9-22 (day 8) to check on status. When asked, the owner got annoyed that I was even asking the question. He accused me of trying to rush the job. Again, I said that I was not in a rush for the vehicle, I just wanted to be kept informed on its status. Went in again on 11-3 (day 50) to verify they still had my phone number, (had heard nothing from them). The owner told me nothing had been done on my vehicle. I got a call on 11-14 (day 64) that the vehicle was ready. I went in on 11-17 (day 67) to pick it up. Paid the bill ($1425.00) and went out to the vehicle. It started but it had a miss. Shut off and started it again, still missing. Went back in and told the owner of the miss. His response was "So?". I told him that the vehicle was not roadable. He said "I got it running so now you want me to do a full tune-up?". Again, I told him it has to be roadable. He then brought up that , per him, I had tried rushing the job. If 67+ days to do a job is "Rushing", then I am guilty. As of 1-9 (day 120 ) , I have heard nothing and the "Rushed job" is still not complete. Please draw your own conclusion. read more
