If I could give them a "Zero"....I would. Was traveling from NE to TX and spent the night in Wichita. Ordered a to-go order from this dump. Ordered traditional buffalo wings with blue cheese and celery and fried shrimp and fries with extra cocktail sauce. Wings came under cooked with NO blue cheese or celery. We just came back from having dinner at Bubba's and I must say that it was by far the worst restaurant experience that I've had in a long time. It took forever to get our food after we ordered. Several other tables ordered after we did and yet they received their orders before we received our. We also had to wait a long time just to get a drink refill and we even had to hunt down our waitress for our dinner bill. The food was mediocre and very messy. The atmosphere was very loud, to a point that we couldn't even carry on a conversation. I will have to think very long and hard on whether we will go back. read more

Our family has visited Bubba's before and had no problem. The food was decent enough that we decided to go back this past weekend. I knew it was going to be busy because of it being a weekend and I knew they offered call ahead seating so we did. When we get there the hostesses stated it would still be a 45 minute wait, same for other people just walking in without calling ahead. They also stated there was seating at the bar. So we walk over there and sit down. 10 minutes later no one has given us menus, no one had said hello I see you I'll be right there when I can. We leave and tell the hostesses and who appeared to be maybe a supervisor or manager our experience and nothing! No I'm sorry, no let me see if I can correct this issue for you as this is not how we treat our customers. Nothing. There are about 10 other resturants in close proximity to this place. There are other places in this town that are worth it. You have lost our business and recommendations. read more

First impression walking in was very nice, the two hostesses holding the doors open were very friendly. We went during a "prime" hour, so we expected it to be busy. Nevertheless, the staff happily seated us within 10 to 15 minutes, when we were advised it would be up to a half an hour. Our waitress was not the friendliest person, but was by no means rude when introducing herself. I was dining with four other people, we all ordered burgers and fries and got a $4 draft of Budweiser products. The beer was literally ice-cold, just amazing. However when we received our food is when all of The issues began. Our burgers all had different cooks on the meat, and different toppings. We received our food and when we advised the waitress of the situation (the meat was cooked incorrectly on 3/5 burgers), she seemed to have no desire to rectify the situation or even apologize. My burger was cooked correctly, I ordered the sunshine burger for myself, requesting that the bacon/beef patty be substituted for beef only. I've had A lot of greasy burgers in my day, but this one takes the cake. I would prefer a burger from McDonald's over the one I was served. The bacon that comes on the burger was microwaved/undercooked. Before I was even halfway through, the bun had fell apart from being soaked with grease. I understand I had bacon on my burger, and I also took that into consideration. I also ordered sweet potato fries with it, which were very good! Due to the lack of concern from the waitress and the poor quality of either cheap ingredients or a cook that is very inexperienced, I won't be returning here. If you are considering coming here, go around the corner to Old Chicago. read more

Loud sports bar vibe with TVs everywhere. The TVs play things other than sports which I really appreciated since I don't like sports. Hubby and I ate in the "bar" that is separate from the restaurant. Waitress was friendly and got right to us. We got our beer and ordered dinner. It took about 25 min to get our food which was a bit longer than I expected. I ordered the Taco Salad just as it is listed, but without the jalapenos. It was a large salad with fresh veggies and ripe RED tomatoes and GREEN lettuce, which is very important to me. The dressing seemed to have a creamy element to it and it was a perfect touch. My hubby got the Chicken Tender Dinner. It came with a large salad before the entree. The chicken had a delicious breading and was fried perfectly...tender and moist, not over cooked. He had the garlic mash potatoes that were yummy too. The portions were so generous we were able to take home leftovers. I arm wrestled hubby for his last chicken tender the next day, they were that good. We will return and try their other items because we were very pleased with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. read more

Our first visit and we're already hooked. My husband loved the sunshine burger, and I thought the aloha chicken was amazing. We tried the o' rings for an appetizer and they were sooo good! Great service for a noon meal on Friday. I ate at the bar and was served by a very helpful bartender. This was my first visit, I had the Bubba Burger with Bubba sauce. I had it on the side just to be safe, but no problem it was alright. The fries were crispy shoe strings that I like and the beer was chilled. Request a game that wasn't being shown and they were happy to bring up my MLB game. I'll go back. read more

Tried Bubba's 33 for the first time yesterday. There were a lot of TVs. I don't believe I have ever seen that many TVs in one restaurant before. Not sure that was a good thing. The food was okay. The service was okay. Except for the plethora of televisions I just didn't think this place was anything special. My husband and I shared a hamburger because they were very large and I ordered a side salad too. The food was okay. I have had other burgers at local bars that have been just as good or better for less cost. On other reviews I have read about how loud the place is but there was basically no one there and it was 6:00 on a Wednesday evening. The music was too loud but other customer chatter was almost nonexistent. Would I go back? Only if someone invited me. read more

Went in for the first time tonight despite having driven by many times since they opened. We were well greeted in a very friendly manner and quickly taken to a table. Noticed right off how clean, bright, and lively the restaurant felt. My husband, three children and I had a variety from the menu - bacon burger, kid's chicken tenders, chicken tenders basket, shrimp po' boy and a south of the border type burger - also seasoned and sweet potato fries. All the food was delicious and the portion sizes were abundant. Our server was very personable and made our first time in an enjoyable one. My only "but" is that when he brought the check and asked if we were all together. Seems like an innocent question, but having been married for 22 years, it does get old to hear. As always when asked that question, I was gracious about it as I don't know the motivation behind the question - maybe he asks all groups this question, but a man, woman and three children to me generally says "one group" unless they specifically say otherwise. read more

I have never had worse service in my life. My waitress was trash. You can get the exact same food anywhere else for so much cheaper. If you're looking for a family meal, this is not the place to go.
