I've stopped by this location several times in the past few months. It appears to be closed for good.

We came around 12:30 on a Monday. There was one table in and no one was really there. I was slightly hesitant and worried it was going to take long as there was only one person working but another one showed up. We ordered margaritas (lime and so delicious - they flavour the rim with a spicy/salty combo that went so well with the tart of the lime). My friend got the burrito and I got tostados (they don't do much vegan options but they are very accommodating). We also ordered chips and salsa (not a typical salsa but very good) and guacamole (which unfortunately came with cheese so none for me). The chip were fresh and not too salty or oily. The burrito was huge and my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. The tostados were piled high with fresh veg and pickled onions and topped with their fresh hot sauce! The food was excellent! Hands done a repeat place to visit. The staff were very sweet and friendly. Prices are good so there is no reason not to go!

Glorious whipped sour cream across the top with black beans, guac, Pico, 2 different types of cheese and cilantro, this dish is the perfect plate of nachos. Every dish we've had here was a winner. My personal fav are the asada tostadas, with a healthy layer of smashed black beans on a perfectly crispy tortilla, the perfect amount of toppings and a sprinkle of feta to top it off. Solely run by the owners, they are friendly and truly take pride in their food.

There is a salsa bar-- the hot salsas are actually spicy. Some of the salsas were hit or miss, probably about 1/4 were good, 1/4 were ok and then the rest were rather bland or meh. The fire roasted salsa that came with the chips was actually the best one. We had two mains to share. The chile relleno was super interesting because it was actually stuffed with mean and rice, which is not traditional. The mole was rich and sweet, as expected. Portions are quite large and these dishes are heavy/rich so it's quite filling. I guess their most popular items are the tacos, but that seemed rather lame and is likely because a lot of people are not familiar with these other dishes. The cocktail list could use some revamping. There were a lot of cheap spirits bring used and it gave all inclusive resort cocktails vibe. They need a real mixologist to come in and give them some recipes so that they have authentic margaritas and other drinks without the sugary sweet frat party liquor. They just need to focus on better quality spirits and a more Mexico focused liquor list. Staff was super nice and friendly. I think they brought the chips and salsa as we had been waiting awhile for our food. Overall, I would recommend this place as it was priced fairly and the food was quite good. Is this authentic? Not really from the "modern" aspect, but they do a good job of melding the traditional with the new.

Food and service were amazing. Portion size was perfect. A beautiful way to end a day in Kelowna.read more

They're located next door to a Little Caesars Pizza. We dropped in on a Friday (around noon) and it was bumping. The inside is oddly spaced out with only 5 tables. There's an outdoor patio but it was raining so no one was sitting outside. You walk up to the counter to order first and pay. They call out your ticket number when your order is ready. The menu consists of 16 items (tacos, quesadillas, burritos, enchilada, soups, tamales and pupusas). Can't believe their enchilada platter was only $9.25 two years ago. - Enchilada platter ($15.00) - we opted for the beef and green sauce (tomatillo). Nice that they offer the option to get both sauces (red and green). Plenty of sauce given and the tomatillo came through. The ground beef was nicely seasoned. - 3x Classic tacos ($4.00 each) - we tried one asada, pastor and carnita. The pastor was easily our favourite; tender and flavourful even without any pineapple included. Carnita was also tender. The asada was okay but the most surprising thing was their homemade salsa. Really elevated the tacos to another level. Good Mexican food is hard to find but we enjoyed our meal at LF. Will have to try the pupusas and tamales next time. 3.5 stars.
