It cost £8 but it was worth it (minus the sugar rush) I noticed another table who got a fondue with strawberries and that looked amazing, for sure a place to go in harrow and it is a place to visit for sure, also go after 6pm as harrows parking is free then ;)

Walked past this place wondering "Huh! How long has this been here, this looks ... interesting …read more.. amazing, OH MY GOD, I MUST GO IN!" The display of chocolate out the front, mouth watering, chocolatey goodness! Went in with my friend, inside it is decorated very appropriately, with tables and chairs looking like milk chocolate colours and shades. This place looked like a chocolate factory made into a cafe! Perfect! The service, just as smooth as their chocolate. I walked in, the man instantly addressed me with "Good Evening sir, how are you today?" I replied in kind with a "I like the enthusiasm, trying to make me buy something huh" which we both laughed at. I did proceed to buy a few things, but damn this place was so cool, I will for sure be revisiting. If you look at the pictures I am about to post up, you will see why! The only reason I 4 starred is because it was late and there was no atmosphere, which I would like to see what that is like in there. Not bad consdering this place jas only been open for 5 days!

In the South Asian community, it is…read morenot uncommon to find families going late at night after dinner (most of us SAs eat dinner pretty late) for some ice cream. It's basically a ritual. I find it happens a lot in South America and also in the Mexican community here in Chicago. There's something about that experience. The only thing that can make that experience better is quality ice cream. I believe Scooperb's ice cream is probably one of the best executed ideas in the world of ice cream that works very well. Sure, they have their usual flavors of the chocolates, vanillas of the world but their more South Asian flavors are the star. If you're a non South Asian, you may or may not be familiar with some of these flavors but I am almost 100% sure, if you were to sample some of these, you will get at least one or two flavors that you love. While in London, I tried many flavors (forgive me if I miss a few). Paan, Gulkhand, Chickoo, Tender Coconut, Jamun, Sitaphal, Guava, Lychee and Bubble Gum. YES, BUBBLE GUM. Unlike here in the United States where every damn thing tastes sweet because we're always on a sugar high, the sweetness in each of the ice creams was just right. My favorite is the tender coconut. It has a subtle flavor or coconut with tiny coconut pieces. Sweet enough yet has a full flavor. My next favorite one was the paan. Now I've had paan ice creams before (or some of the other flavors above too). Not a single place I've had it at before comes even close to what I experienced here. Usually you'll find the flavor essence that brings about the flavor of the said ice creams. At Scooperb however, you will be shocked at how they make the paan ice cream. There are many elements (yes, actual pieces of these elements and NOT any essence or flavoring) that make up a nice meetha paan. From the leaf, the sweets in there, etc. The execution of this specific flavor in my opinion is truly unique and one of the best I've ever seen. If you like paan, you are sure to love this. I loved the rest of the flavors too and was equally surprised by the bubble gum ice cream. I figured it can't be too good. I was however pleasantly surprised at how well the flavor of a bubble gum was transformed into an ice cream. If you can go with an open mind and even just ask for a taste of it, you will understand what I am saying. My lease favorite one was the jamun but that's not to say it wasn't nice. I just don't like jamun even as a fruit however my wife loved it. What brings this ice cream shop to life are the owners. The TLC and passion they bring to the table is what brings life to the ice creams they sell. I WISH they were here in the United States (I know Id' put on a lot of weight quickly). If you are a South Asian, you MUST go out of your way if you have to but try their ice creams. You will NOT regret it. If you're not South Asian, give it a shot. You might be surprised at what you taste.

Had a late brunch here. We ordered:…read moreTriangle burger kid's meal, Fries Halloumi cheese, Bbq chicken wings, Ginger beer and Hot chocolate. Service person (Souhaya) had a scowl on her face; it was not that busy. Unfortunately, tipping here was automatic at 12.5%. I would not have tipped her....she will have a bigger scowl on her face...hahahaha. Anyhow, the ambiance is very American; a diner complete with a car banquette seating. Bbq chicken wings were really good and flavorful. Burger sucked and not worth its £6 price. Halloumi cheese was mediocre not worth £5 for 3 small rectangular pieces. I would come back for the bbq wings.

The place looked very promising but failed to deliver on so many levels... First - the wait staff…read more There is a service charge tacked onto your bill automatically, but you still have to order yourself online (the ordering process is a bit tedious - with a sometimes failing web form ) Then you need to walk to the counter and pay there, as there is no way to pay for your meal online either (or - as would be expected - pay for it AFTER you finished it). The place does not accept American Express. But then, the food is also rather lackluster. With lemonade being sickeningly sweet and having an odd, chemical flavor. The Budweiser Prohibition Brew we ordered was replaced with Budweiser Zero - a much poorer alternative. The food is edible and we did not get sick after eating it, but it is on the more expensive side, given the quality. In particular, everything was very greasy - which is not always a bad thing with a diner, but here it was not great. My steak - ordered medium-rare, came medium/well-done which I had to ask to be replaced. It did get replaced with a (nearly) properly cooked (more solidly medium, not rarer) one. I wish it was 14 oz ribeye I paid for, not a thin 8 oz, though. The meat was tasty, a bit lacking the flavor, and the bone was large - not worth the price. The fries were good. The place is halal certified. So the bacon you will get is chicken-based. The environment is very "movie 1950s" - unlike the true diners, but also lacking the atmosphere of the 50s. It would be very enjoyable for its ambiance, if not for the fact, that the place is filled with families with young kids, and as such gets kindergarten loud at times. I had high hopes, but I did not get a satisfactory meal. I did not have a great experience, and I did not get a bargain. On the other hand, it was not dreadful and perhaps I would come back again, with friends, later in the evening, as I enjoyed the tacky decor. If only they served beer or wine to go with the meal...
