I've watched my Tehachapi Family grow by generations. Along with my Sister in Spirit Britt we have been through the death of loved ones, births and without a doubt lots of heath conditions. I hope Britt doesn't mind me saying that I mentored her in her quest to be Elite. I'm so proud of her and I enjoy seeing her attending events! Yes I used to exchange gifts with Britt years ago. She was the only one. She loved my Yelp Swag so I sent her big boxes. Definitely my Tehachapi grandbaby received a gift. The family grew so huge I had to stop! So I'm posting a couple pictures of my favorite gift from Britt. I've placed it where I can see it on my daughter's entry table. I currently use it for quick cash to give my building employees because at this point in time I need a lot of assistance! Always remember I love you and think of you daily my Tehachapi Fam! PS Do your research on the City and surrounding areas history before you visit. At one time there was a woman's prison located here. They responded quickly and came out within a reasonable timeframe, but that's where the positives end. The Yelp project included the detail that it was a tankless water heater, but they showed up unprepared and then complained to my wife that no one told them it was tankless. The details were in the original project listing that they responded to, so no excuse there. They left and came back. When they returned, they did a flush of the tankless water system which took less than an hour and charged my wife $450. This is an insane rate for a simple procedure. A simple hourly rate of maybe $200 would've been acceptable. They told her they'd email me a receipt with the details, but they never did which only makes me question things more. Like I said, I had great experiences in the past. They installed my water softener over 3 years ago and they've done service for me in the past at reasonable rates. This time was unprofessional, unreasonable, and unacceptable. I won't call Mountain Valley Plumbing again after this experience.

I got on Angi's to find and electrician in my area and they wanted me to get a membership for $275 before recommending anyone. Forget that! I tried several more times on Friday night to get multiple companies to call me back but no one returned my call. I Googled electricians again Saturday morning at 1100 am for my area and found Schematic Electric in Tehachapi CA. Nelson answered and told me that he could probably get someone out to me by 1pm. Being a weekend he mentioned it would be a slightly higher service call. I opted for the fastest response I could get and Nelson was in my driveway by 1245pm. He is a very pleasant guy with a big friendly smile. My German Shepherd even liked him. Within 5 minutes inside my home Nelson knew what our problem was and within a total of 20 minutes he had everything up and running again. He saved the day because we were having family arrive from back east and didn't want to have to explain that they might have to use a flashlight in their room, but this was all avoided in time. Even though our issue was relatively simple I wanted to mention something to other companies that can't bother to return a phone call or come out for a simple problem. I have a generator that I've been wanting and electrician to install an outlet for during emergency power outages and because we feel like we found such a reliable company I am having Nelson back out for that job in the near future. This young son stated he would send by email their report to me and actual statement of what the amount for a solar bill would be for me and it would be within 15 minutes. I actually asked him to repeat the email address, he did not state it exactly as I had to him.
