Had Garrett Tires & Treads in Broken Bow replace an ignition in my car, within a few months my car…read morehad smoke pouring from the steering column and it wiped out all electronics, and would not start. Called Rick Jones at Garrett and he said he would take a look at it if I brought it to him. I told him that the car would not start and the transmission would not shift out of gear into neutral, his response was "well that's not my problem." It took me several months to figure out how to disengage the transmission to tow it to him, he then charged me $130 to "diagnose" that it wasn't their fault, AND that I was very mistaken, there was no way the smoke came from the steering column, that it came from the dash and I wasn't smart enough to know the difference. Long story short, I took it to another mechanic who fixed it within 3 days very reasonably and the cause of the electrical fire was "the ignition wiring harness was not put back in the correct location & shortened out on tilt linkage." So if you like to be treated like crap and told that you don't know what you are talking about then definitely go there!

Would not recommend this place for any one if you want an expensive short term fix. Another time our car was brought in because it had a stability trac service needed, supposedly it needed a whole new engine. Well they had it for about 5 months before we got it back, and about a month or so of having it the engine seals went out on it. 100% don't recommend.

Very Rude and condescending people when proven to be wrong. Outright lied to me and my wife and…read morewhen called on it I got 3 phone calls from three people being very rude and disrespectful. Last year they overfilled my tank and it popped the relief valve snd sprayed propane for 2 days, we had to evacuate my shop. In the end I'm glad, my family has been buying propane from them for a very long time, and since this I've done some price checking and found out they are .45c a gallon more than there competitor on propane. So I guess this was a blessing, I'll be letting all my neighbors know as well who currently use trotters propane.
