We went in o have a rear axle seal repaired and they were the nicest group of folks! They did our repair all 8n 9ne day from quote to finish of repair and talk about being reasonably priced! They were recommended to us by our regular mechanic who did not have the necessary tools and they did us right! I would recommend this shop to anyone who asked me and I will tell everyone! Brought my car in for rear end work, when they were getting close to finishing it they impacted something in my rear differential and now there is metal in my diff oil and my car shakes going 70. Would not recommend this place for any one if you want an expensive short term fix. Another time our car was brought in because it had a stability trac service needed, supposedly it needed a whole new engine. Well they had it for about 5 months before we got it back, and about a month or so of having it the engine seals went out on it. 100% don't recommend. read more

We were driving back to California from a family reunion on the East Coast when my "maintenance required" light popped on... Did a quick search for a mechanic close by and ended up picking this one, and I am so glad we did! Levi and Kirt were so kind and reassuring, and they quickly found a couple of problems that needed to be addressed immediately. My husband and I were moving from California to South Carolina when our transmission died in Gothenburg NE. We barely made it into Knoedler Auto and we were immediately greeted by a friendly smile and a warm welcome. As it was a hot day, we were asked to wait in the air conditioned lobby which was very clean and our dogs were offered water and treats! When we were told a transmission would have to be ordered, we were driven to a local Howard Johnson's with all of our belongings in tow to wait for the car to be fixed. We arrived on Monday and by Wednesday night, the staff had replaced our transmission and charged us a lot less than we would have paid in California. A great shout out to Kirt Knoedler, John Wilcox and the miracle worker Levi Bahe who got us on our way in a short period of time. These people are kind, experienced and very fair with their prices! My car began making a loud noise the night prior while pulling into the hotel down the street. We were traveling through town on a road trip to California and obviously that can be a very stressful situation. We searched for the closest shop and arrived first thing, a little before opening. We were greeted early by Kirt who was very friendly and sent the service advisor Levi out to speak with us. Levi was hands down the kindest, most professional and reassuring mechanic I have ever worked with. He treated us like locals (which we met many while sitting in the waiting area) and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He had our schedule and desire to get back on the road in mind with offering all of our possible solutions. We drove to North Platte and retrieved the needed part to help expedite the process. We didn't have to return for the repairs, but chose to because we trusted Kirt and Levi. They fixed the problem and got us on our way all before noon. We can't thank them enough! I was moving from Wisconsin to Colorado with a fully loaded car when I started having bad shaking in my steering wheel. Traveling on I80 west, towing our 5th wheel when our A/C went out. Looked on Yelp to find an auto repair with good reviews. Knoedler Automotve came up. Called and explained our situation and they said they would help. Although it is a busy shop Levi ran a system check as soon as we pulled in. We needed the A/C compressor replaced. They didn't have one in stock so sent a man 10 miles to another town to get one. Three hours later we were back on the road, at a very good price compared to what we would have been charged in Calif.
