The guy on the phone who calls me 3 hours later states "I guess everybody before me with this company passed the buck and dropped the ball so I'll be there in 1.5 hours". The pure unreliable, poor customer service, and selfish actions deserves 0 stars. I have never been so disappointed with a company in my life. What a terrible company and the pure disrespect to a customer is unacceptable. I don't even care to read a response or hear an excuse. Take accountability and fix your business. BE WARNED!!!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE AND SAD. PS: UHaul even contacted the Business Owners and is leaving a terrible review as well because they even admitted they are embarrassed to have contacted and trusted this company and let them keep me stranded for 3+ hours on a highway right near their business with no communication and absolutely horrendous service. My camper axle broke while I was traveling solo across the country--far from home and facing a situation that could have left me stranded for weeks. What could have been a nightmare became something completely different thanks to Gary, Ryan, and the entire team. From my very first phone call, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. As a solo female traveler, I immediately felt safe, looked after, and respected. They didn't just do their job--they took responsibility for helping me find a real solution. What would have taken three weeks to fix with a factory-ordered part, they resolved with a creative, high-quality, and safe alternative, and at a very fair and honest price. They even went the extra mile to work with my warranty company, something most shops wouldn't bother with. Communication was excellent throughout--clear, prompt, and compassionate. The office itself was clean and welcoming, which matters. It shows that they care about your comfort. What impressed me even more was hearing from local residents that this business has been a trusted part of the community for over 30 years. My car needed some transmission work done and we had BG&S perform the work. Their office staff was…read morevery good, they performed the work as promised, but my car was returned very dirty. It looked as though the help ate their lunch in my car. Drinks spilt down the door panels front and back. A drink spilt and dried on my leather seat in the back. Cigarette ashes on the console around gear shift(I don't smoke). And a lot of gravel, small stones on the driver side floor. The hood had a lot of oil, grease stains. They didn't clean anything after their work. I asked the owner, manager call me, never heard from them.

We were 1400 of 2400 miles into our summer vacation when we began hearing noises from our Ram 1500…read more It was our Ram's 6th summer trip west to visit Nat'l Parks with our 30 ft travel trailer in tow. We were on Interstate 80 in Nebraska and googled transmission repairs and up popped several transmission shops, but one stood out in Grand Island Nebraska...BG & S Transmissions! We got to the shop Sunday evening and awaited opening at 7AM Monday morning. First, we met Tyler, who commands the front desk. He was very pleasant advising the owners would be in shortly. And Tyler was right! Bill and Brian arrived, checked out our truck and determined it was the rear differential. We agreed to the repair and they ordered the parts via air freight next day delivery. On Tuesday morning most of the parts arrived but the bearings were shipped ground in error and were not due until later that week. Knowing that we were at the start of our vacation, Bill and Brian worked their magic and found the other parts locally and by 5:30 Tuesday our Ram's differential was reassembled and we were on our way to our final destination in UT. This shop is the bomb! They had a parking lot full of other vehicles to work on and put them aside going above and beyond to help us get back on the road quickly. We can not thank the entire team at BG & S Transmissions enough for getting us up and running again and making our Summer 2021 vacation happen.
