I don't know how many years it has been that I have heard the excuse that it must be Comcast,…read morethat's why we don't return our phone calls. As many of these reviews have stated Patrick who owns the company with his wife, Donna is very good on the sales front and very interactive until there's a handoff; the product is installed. Patrick convinced us to go with a Kohler generator versus a Generac or any other brands because of the efficiency and after doing some independent research, I did not disagree with his assessment. Unfortunately, we've had some issues with the unit over the years, and this company becomes less and less visible with each and every time that they are needed. I would say that Kohler is the brand to go with but find another authorized installer and service company that handles Kohler, which is not this company. They are a one tech company with owners who are completely removed from the day to day.

Prior to engaging them, I simply ignored generator maintenance, so for 5 years or so following installation no one changed the oil, checked the timing, tested the battery, or throughly serviced this expensive and essential amenity. It finally dawned on me that when I really need it to perform in an emergency it needs to work, and professional maintenance is essential. I reached out to Generator Power Solutions some years ago. I didn't know them nor was I sure of their reputation or their professionalism. I was lucky! They annually perform a nuts to bolts inspection, change oil & filter and make sure the machine is performing to specs and is ready to work properly whenever needed. Their office staff has always been pleasant, courteous, and professional and their techs have been top notch. Sue has serviced my machine for the past several years and has been great! She knows her stuff, takes her time and doesn't leave until she's satisfied that the generator is fully up to specs and ready to work if called upon. I couldn't be more pleased with this business! I wish all businesses were as dependable and competent as these folks, they have earned my unequivocal recommendation!

Nashoba air and boiler installed a heat pump in December 2021. Within a few months it stopped…read moreworking they quickly came out and refilled unit. And then a second repair that took two days to fix. They repaired the unit, but not all the water damage With streaks of bluish green down my new walls. Now warped and swelling. The leaking units caused damage to two bedrooms in my home as well as exterior siding. They denied and refused to supply me with their liability insurance carrier. They're so unprofessional. Other companies can install heatpumps. Who will stand-by their product and installation. Not Nashoba air and boiler. 0 stars should be an option!

I needed a shower mixer replaced, a simple repair that most homeowners could do in an hour or so…read more Since we only have one shower, I decided not to DIY -- if anything went wrong, it would have been a huge problem. Nashoba quoted $850 for the entire job, including labor and the part, which costs roughly $100. I was completely shocked. Then came the "discounts": $100 off, and when they saw I was still stunned, another $50. It felt like buying a used car, with a high-pressure negotiation designed to make me feel like I was getting a deal, when in reality I was being ripped off. If I hadn't shown my shock, I likely would have paid the full $850. The work itself was fine, and the technician was polite, but the price was outrageous. The national average for this job is $375-$450, and even in Massachusetts, the high end is about $575. I paid $700. I later learned that Nashoba Air & BoilerWorks is owned by Sila Services, backed by Goldman Sachs. This corporate structure adds overhead and drives up prices for customers. I thought I was hiring a local company, but I was wrong -- this is part of a multi-owner corporate platform. After reading other Yelp reviews, it's clear my experience was not unique. I wish I had read them first. If you want reasonably priced plumbing, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a genuinely local company.

Can we give a zero rating for Bryan? This is my worst…read moreexperience with any contractor and Bryan from B.P.Logue tops the list. He gave me a quote which we agreed and signed off on financing using Synchrony Bank (which he proudly displays on his web site). He completed the first half of the work and promptly collected his partial payment. Now, he refuses to work with Synchrony Bank and expects me to pay the balance amount WITHOUT installing the generator and completing the setup, activation and town inspection. The setup, activation and town inspection are clearly mentioned in the quote which we both signed. So far, for the past 4 months, he has refused to install the generator and complete the requisite work, but expects payment without installing the generator and getting the town inspector approval of his work. Beware of Bryan! He has a very condescending attitude and cannot be trusted. Ravi R.

Then, he cancelled on me and rescheduled so I moved my and my kids entire schedule around to be there. I was downstairs with my kids, hear a doorbell ring and rushed upstairs within a minute but the sales person Bryan had already left. He didn't call me or even respond to me trying to flag him down as he walked to his car. And then he had the nerve to send a follow-up email later addressing only my husband, in which he said he's sorry I missed him! Ha! Do not do business with this company.
